From the very beginning, the level of customer service which Gina and Joe provided was above par. They sat down with us, and truly listened to what our expectations and desires were. Instead of pushing a certain package on us, which other DJ's do, they really took the time to tailor one to our needs seeking our best interest. I really appreciated that. One of the cool perks they have is the ability to use a web interface to select the playlist you'd like for the wedding including your top "Must Have" songs as opposed to just writing it down on a paper hoping it's played. One of the cool services they offered which we capitalized on was the father-daughter, and mother-son voice over option. My wife and I both recorded tales of gratefulness which Joe then layered over the song which surprised both of our parents. Truly a nice touch. This review is more than overdue. Let me just say one thing: Joe and Gina are the best people you would want to have in your wedding. Why? Because they are not only professionals but they are sooo good at communicating and working around your schedule. My husband and I were disappointed before after meeting around 4 to 5 DJS and the end result was always the same: No connection. But with Classy Fun, we felt our opinions were heard and communicating with Joe was easy. Gina was great at follow up and if we had special requests they will make it work and gives us great advice in terms of wedding planning. Also, my husband and I have different work schedules and they were able to sit us down and prepare for Skype meeting to discuss the details of the wedding ceremony. At the wedding, all the guests felt super special and created a great ambience. Everyone kept asking us how we got so lucky finding such great people to be in our wedding. I used Joe for my parents 40th anniversary party on a boat in Newport Beach, CA. While the boat had some limitations (time, space, and sound) Joe and Gina really worked hard to make everything work and fit the way i wanted it to. This is the best photo booth I have ever seen, and I have seen at least a dozen. It's far better than the ones you see at the mall, because this one lights up, looks like a chic wedding decoration in it's own right, has great props, and has a personalized touch. Joe and Gina went out of their way many times to make sure that the photo booth was a memorable, unique piece at my and my husband's wedding. They personalized our photo cards in a way that fit our wedding and our personalities perfectly. They were very friendly and inviting with our guests, as some of them did not know how a photo booth worked. The photo cards that were produced were high quality (not the kind that fades after a few weeks), and became treasured souvenirs for us and our guests. Joe and Gina were exceptional to work with. They were professional yet friendly and made our experience preparing for the wedding painless while still adding value. The day of our event, both Joe and Gina were present, and composed making all of our guests feel welcome. They executed the timeline, each song and all customized features of our wedding seamlessly and all while playing off the excitement of our family and friends. One of the more touching moments was in the production and execution of the father daughter dance and mother and son dance. My wife had a special song that her dad always sang to her and Joe and Gina not only found the song, but were able to manipulate it to the speed and key she wanted. Moreover, they added a special touch by imposing my voice saying something heartfelt to my mother over the song I chose for our dance. Outside of these special moments, we added the photo booth with Gina customizing the layout, colors, etc. This was a huge hit, and having all our guests photos given to us at the end was priceless. We had booked them at least a year out and they kept in contact with us though out the entire planning process. Let me first start off by mentioning that the entertainment vendor that you choose, especially for a wedding reception, is perhaps the most important aspect of the party, more important for than your rentals, your décor, your cake, and perhaps even your food and drinks. If you have good memorable entertainment, you and your guests will have a good and memorable time. Also not all DJs can MC. Sometimes DJs are just that, a DJ. A wedding reception requires a good MC. With that being said, we am so grateful and proud that we went with Classy Fun Entertainment for our wedding. Joe Rivera and his wife were far and beyond the best DJ and MC we could have imagined. From our first conversation, after finding him on Yelp, Joe was incredibly helpful and welcoming. Usually when calling an entertainment vendor, they first ask about money, location, and date. Joe was different. Instead he congratulated us and asked us questions like, "what are some words that describe you and your fiancé?" Joe actually cared about getting to know us first. From day 1, Joe was so helpful. He would help us with ideas we did not even think of at the time. He helped us with our reception schedule. He helped us select special songs. (He found a song that had not even debuted on iTunes or spotify since it was so new, and he came up with my wife's father-daughter song, which brought tears to everyone's eyes.) We drove to the Rivera's home so that we can record "Sound Tapestries." (I will let Joe describe those to you. They are such a great, unique, and heartwarming idea) The Rivera's were so welcoming and kind. They are also a wonderful example of a marriage. They truly are wonderful people. Now on to the party: With Classy Fun Entertainment, we quickly realized that were receiving way too much for what we paid for. Joe and his with spent so much time making our special day unforgettable. Not only did they spend time with us at their home, they arrived so early on the day of our wedding to set up and plan things. Usually DJs arrive an hour before the party, Joe and his wife arrive several hours early. Amazing. Joe Rivera is talented. He knows music and perhaps more importantly, he knows how to host a party. DJ Joe was always very presentable and personable. He played every song perfectly. From our reception introductions to the first dance, to the father-mother dances, and other wedding moments, he kept everything moving like clock work. There was zero awkwardness or downtime. Our reception schedule moved like clockwork. His equipment worked perfectly even though he had backups for his backups. We never had a single mic problem or sudden mic interference. The family speeches were perfectly clear. When Joe spoke, he was clear and fun. He did not overpower the party like many MCs do. He was so classy and created an amazing atmosphere. Joe and Gina are also a great looking married couple. I'll admit it, Joe is a handsome man and actually looks like he can be a weatherman. Joe's presence was always very nice. I really cannot thank Joe and his wife enough. I actually wish I had the money to just double what I paid him because he succeeded our expectations so profoundly. So I was referred to DJ Joe after an emergency came up with our original DJ TWO DAYS before our wedding last month. I had a tiny freak out because...well...it's two days before the wedding and I had no idea who and what DJ Joe was all about. But I was BLOWN AWAY by DJ Joe's professionalism. It was no challenge for Dj Joe at all. He assured us that everything we going to be great. And it was!! DJ Joe came on time, had a nice set-up and from start to the finish our wedding reception went as smooth as it could have gone. Plus, DJ Joe was the man and of course everyone was on the dance floor the entire night!! We had such a good time and all of our guests had fun on the dance floor! I loved Dj Joe's energy and enthusiasm! I didn't have to do anything the entire night because he had it under control! And he let my drunk self come up and steal the mic several times during the night to make announcements, random shout-outs and even let me rap a song LOL. ClassyFun was just that...very classy set up and Joe and Gina were a blast! I've been to several weddings in the past few years and all of them had photobooths, but ClassyFun had a different spin on it. We hired them for our wedding, they were recommended by our DJ #djtiempo and we were very pleasantly surprised that they took the time to make a custom logo for us to give our guests a beautiful 3x5 gift card that had their pictures on it (not the typical skinny photobooth slip). Not to mention, their props were awesome!! They had tons of unique masks, props, boas, hats, etc. Their booth was fully equipped and spacious and it even had LED lighting. After being referred by another DJ, my husband and I met with Joe and Gina regarding DJ and MC services for our 11/21/15 wedding. Joe and Gina welcomed us into their home and after meeting them for the first time, I was certain that I wanted to book them for my wedding. They are very professional and reassuring, which is definitely a plus when looking for a wedding vendor. We ended up booking them for DJ/MC, uplighting, slideshow and monogram services. Joe and Gina are great communicators. They kept us up-to-date through e-mails and scheduled meetings, were incredibly accommodating to our specific requests regarding the slideshow and the music selections. We were very happy to work with Joe and Gina because as professionals, they provided their expertise and advice but also worked to make our day the way that we wanted, even with our unorthodox requests (like having a 15 minute slideshow). I was also impressed that Joe and Gina wanted to arrive even earlier than the scheduled set-up time to make sure that they can set up everything in preparation for our reception. When we saw the set up of the ballroom and heard the music during our reception, we were very impressed that Joe and Gina were able to include the songs that we requested as well as some songs to keep the guests entertained. Joe and Gina worked well with our other vendors (photographer/videographer) to ensure that the special moments of our timeline were captured. Joe even joined our guests on the dance floor and taught them some of his moves. That was awesome! My dad said afterward that he was impressed with the nice instrumental pieces that were played during dinner, which were at the perfect volume to allow guests to still be able to converse with one another (in contrast to other weddings where people have to scream over each other to hear above the loud music). My two cousins also loved the instrumental song versions because they currently play violin in their orchestra at school. Our guests thought that the slideshow was funny and creative. At the end of the night after my husband and I already went to our hotel room, we went back to the ballroom to look for something we forgot there, and Joe and Gina were still there cleaning up. Many of the past reviews talk about Joe's and Gina's phenomenal DJ presence. I want to write about their amazing Photobooth setup! Gina helped me patiently with the design to get exactly what I wanted on our photo template. She listens and is flexible with the design until you really like it while making suggestions. My husband I just got married last Saturday in Irvine. The Photobooth setup was so beautiful -it was a clean white enclosed space that easily and comfortably fits 4. We were even able to get 10 guests in there. I'm in fashion and I'm very picky about how photos turn out. I don't like fake unnatural lighting or unclear pictures but who does? Classy Fun's lighting is bright, natural and the props were so unique unlike any other booths I've seen. ClassyFun entertainment will give you the best of everything, their photos are high quality thick shiny paper. Joe and Gina are professional, down to earth and classy just as their name states. They were polite and helpful with all the guests and were on hand at all times to help with the booth. I'd highly recommend them! Top notch service at a very reasonable price. We had Joe as the DJ for our daughter's grad party, and Gina, his wife for the photo booth. They were there setting up 3 hours prior to the event. Gina even helped us with our last minute party preparations. Both of them were kind and nice. With Joe playing great music, including songs we requested, our guests had a good time on the dance floor. As for the photo booth, it was so impressive (not the ordinary looking photo booth.) This is long overdue. We got married back in August and Joe was our super duper awesome entertainer. He's very organized, prompt, extremely patient, and flexible. He has a software to keep track of everything from music selection to event planning. The entire process was really easy for us and that's the most important thing to us because we had so many other things to worry about and he's the one who had to make sure everything moves according to plan. I refer to him as an entertainer but he's more than that and that's why you won't be disappointed going with you. He did everything right for us and the guests definitely agreed.
