The vibes and staff here at Claw City are amazing. We brought our family from California here and they had the best time. This is about 7 mins from our house and we're so lucky. All the kids and adults had SO MUCH FUN. The staff was beyond amazing and good and generous. I'd give them all raises if I could. We met the GM and she was a saint to our family. Love that they have a free photobooth. It's gorgeous and such a nice treat to have fun and funny family photos. It's a small space but they tucked in so much fun, love, and energy into a small space. I stopped by last night to check this establishment out due to all the videos online. It was a Saturday night and there was only one other couple inside. I wanted to like this place because it looked cool but ended up being disappointed. The atmosphere is quite cool, I'll give it that. The lights, decoration, and plenty of machines to go around could draw people in. I dropped $40 thinking that could last at least an hour. Nope, less than 20 min. Been to quite a few of these Claw places. And most of the time the machines don't even pick up the toys. This place pics up the toys and "seems" to have a good grip on them and then drops them as they sway over. That to me is pretty scammy. We spent $20 and got 80 credits. Most machines cost 12 credits, the small tiny claw machines are 8. We didn't play for very long. We added more money... and then as I saw a pattern of stuffys falling even though they had a good grab, I refused to add more money. I get not everyone is a winner at these places but it "drop" suddenly is pretty sucky in my opinion. My kid won the plastic toys but none of the stuffies which is a surprise. read more

For a place like this I really was impress with how clean it was. I don't live too far away so I saw the first stages of it opening and honestly it looked a little rough. So we were on the way to Big Al's, but I was looking through YELP , and this place caught my eye. Now look , I know these claw machines are rigged. Some claws are too small for the toys, some jerk quickly and make it difficult to grab items, but they are still hypnotizing in a weird way...I purchased a card for my son and just stepped back...it wasn't about the money, it was about the concentration and the focus he was using to try and win. I tried to give advice with the coin pusher games, but it was futile. I let him play as he wanted and he was happy. The arcade itself was relaxing and casual. The claws on these machines are not super loose, so you definitely get an excellent shot at winning something here. Plus, I noticed the play on moving these claws are much better than at most arcades where it feels rigged most of the time. You can move them a millimeter and win these plushies. This will keep me coming back and bring my older kid. Most machines are 12 credits. There is a smaller group of machines that are 8 credits for squishy balls and Pokémon balls. Big pillow plushie machine is 20 credits. You can make use of whichever package of credits you buy here. Prizes I saw: super Mario, pusheen, sonic, pikachu, Rick and Morty, dinosaurs, boba, Pokémon balls, ninja turtles... they have an Xbox, shoes, iPhone, PlayStation for bigger prizes. I appreciate how the staff will fluff and rearrange stuffies in the machine (like in Japan) so you at least feel like you have a better chance of clawing a winner. They seems rotate in different stuffies into their machines so it is worth checking out their social media if you are looking for something specific. The trade up program is also a nice offering, just note that you have to trade in stuffies that day you win them. There is also a photo booth that captures fun pictures and GIFs. He also said they have half price Mondays and some other deals during the weekday. $20 gets you about 6-8 plays depending on which machines you do but overall we were happy with the plushies we won. My 5-year-old loves this place! We first came for a birthday party she was invited to, and she had such a great time. Claw machines can definitely be hit or miss--super exciting when you win, disappointing when you don't--x100 when you have little kids, but the staff here are awesome and make it worth your while. When we had trouble with a few machines, staff were quick to jump in and help us out, even with some of the larger items! The manager even gave us some extra credits and goodies before we left, which totally made the kids' day. We accidentally swiped our card too many times on one machine and we were given the points back on our card. We have been here several times and the staff are consistently very friendly and helpful. The only thing I'd point out is that the front doors are wide open to the parking lot. I get it from a business perspective, it makes it clear they're open--but just something to be aware of if you've got little kids. Well, I participated in their promo this weekend and I got to say, I'm very disappointed. I've been here multiple times and their machines are usually amazing, I would win every other machine I play and take home so much prizes. But this weekend you can definitely tell it was tampered with. Barely won anything this time and I used a lot of credits. My suspicion is that, they put out a "deal" of getting more credits then lower the grip strength on their machines, so you'll have to use up more of those "free bonus" credits. I say, get the credits on their promo weekends, but don't play there until there's no promos. I love this place, but this really rubbed me the wrong way. read more

Very disappointed! My partner and I got the VIP card today with the promo thing. However, once we were playing the clam machine are rigged and the sensitive is very high which causes the prize to fall even with a good grip. We spent $100 and only got 3 prizes. The only reason we got those 3 is cause we aimed for the ones next to the hole so when the claw grabbed it and like the other times drop the prize but it would fall to the hole. The claw itself is very flimsy and is set with very loose grips. We left and went to a different location. Never experienced this in other claw city locations, won't come back to this one.
