Wish there were more coop beat em up classics like Turtles In Time or the XMen games. It was OK. Then it drops and suddenly you're questioning every life decision that led you to that seat. It's fast, it feels a little wild, almost rickety like it might toss you into the Vegas skyline, and I wasn't ready for it. Not even close. But man... what a trip. And here's the thing that ride became more than just a thrill. One of the last trips I ever took with my dad, we rode that coaster together. I didn't know at the time he was sick... didn't know he had cancer. He never told me. But I remember that ride clear as day. I was focused on grabbing one of those little souvenir keychains after, something simple. He had other plans wanted the bigger photo, something we could hold onto. At the time, I didn't think much of it. Now? That picture means everything. So every time I go back to Vegas, I ride it. No questions asked. It's tradition. And for something that looks compact tucked into the Strip, this thing punches way above its weight. It hits speeds around 67 mph, throws you through a full loop and a barrel roll, and pulls enough G-force to make you feel like a fighter pilot for a few seconds. It's one of the few coasters right on a major city strip like this, and it doesn't hold back. By the time you step off, your legs are a little shaky, your stomach's doing a reset, and yeah you're probably ready to eat something. Quick tip: don't ride it at the end of a long night. On a whim, I reached out to Guest Relations to see if I could purchase a replacement. Alan, the Director of the Midway, personally responded to my email. Not only did he take the time to track down the exact specific ball she had lost from their stockroom, but he also shipped it directly to our house to surprise her. It is incredibly rare to see a company go completely out of their way to make things right for a kid, especially for a lost item that wasn't their fault. Alan's customer service went completely above and beyond, and he turned a heartbreaking situation into a Las Vegas memory we will never forget.
