If you're a huge gamer this place is a must for all ages. Events happen more often Friday to Sunday for the main arena. It's usually open to the public so even to just go and spectate is pretty cool. If you're jonsing to game you can come by and purchase an hour play time. They have PC and Xbox controllers available if needed. You can bring your own controllers. You can use their account to play all games or you can login with your own personal one. It's cool to run into streamers here or just watch people play. The staff here is always helpful and friendly. They also have some HyperX swag such as tshirts and hoodies for sale in the front.

Where do I even start? I'm a mom of 4 boys. All gamers. We all know how hard it is to get them out so when I planned our Vegas trip, I left a lot of space for gaming here at HyperX. When we arrived on Xmas Eve night, they were already closed. No big deal, kids looked through the windows and were absolute sold. We came the next day and we were greeted by Noah (I think that is his name.) He gave us all the options and we did a full 8 hours for my oldest big time gamer and 2 hours each for the smaller boys. Anyway, just buy the full time. Your kids will live in there, while you gamble. They have fun and so do you. When I say this place is massive, it's incredible. Pictures do not do it justice. My 3 teens were very impressed by the rig set up and available options. They were able to log into their steam accounts which is perfect. We have been long standing MGM property vacationers (but have never stayed at the Luxor) and now that HyperX is there, we may be booking at this property from now on. Can't wait to come back.

I loved: The Standard (Burger) I liked: Chicken Nachos Tuna Poke Nachos You don't expect an Esports Arena's food to be that good; it just needs to be passable to keep the crowd there but honestly The Burger and Nachos were delicious. Way better than they had any right to be, and definitely better than a lot of restaurants in the area. I will say the poke nachos did get a bit soggy but just look at how much food they give you. Maybe I just didn't eat it fast enough because I had too much fun at the #creatoru2023 party. The actual arena is huge and spacious with plenty of room for hella gamers. Good deal.

Like others have said, this is a gamer's paradise! For $15 an hour, you can fire up a couple of games in the middle of your Vegas trip. There are other deals as well! There was an industry event taking place so we could only be in the gaming lounge, but I heard the other areas are pretty epic. After logging in, you can log into discord for comms and play a large library of games with your friends. They have controllers available as well. The machines were fast and we had no problems at all! I forgot their name but the attendant working 10/23 was super nice and helpful.

On Thursday nights they have a 21+ event with awesome local DJs. Specialty cocktails are cheap @ $12 each (and delicious). The bar tender is always friendly and patient when I'm deciding what to order. Def stop by if you're bored on a Thursday night!

I went to an auto industry party at the Hyper X Arena inside the Luxor a few years back, and it was super fun. Since I recently began working with a new esports brand, I decided to visit Hyper X Arena to see if we could rent the venue for a video shoot. I started by calling them on the phone, and I spoke with Savannah, who was super helpful on the phone. She told me that I should come and visit in the next two hours, and she would introduce me to the manager. Sure enough, I did visit and I did get to meet Savannah, who is just as sweet and helpful in person as she was on the phone. She and her manager gave me a tour of the entire venue, plus the contact information of the person I needed to email in order to book the space . Our video shoot got pushed back a little bit, so we didn't end up, shooting the video at this location this month... but I will definitely keep this location in mind! It's an awesome looking venue, with amazing facilities, and amazing customer service. Maybe we can rent the entire venue for an event when the brand is ready!

Located in theVisited while on a family vacay for a Mario Kart Tourny for my son. Place is a gamers paradise with the best chairs and computers around. See their website for their menu on prices but they are reasonable. Areas for the adults to have drinks and food. The food was really amazing for "bar" eats. We had the burger, chicken BLT, pizza bites and caesar salad. Everything was quality, tasted fresh, and had terrific flavor. Was truly impressed.

Fresh in here now. Even without an event, it was still a cool spot to hang out. The massive stage was impressive, and there were plenty of places to play games. The cool chairs added a nice touch to the overall experience. If you're into gaming, this place is definitely worth checking out. It's a fresh and exciting venue that caters perfectly to gamers.

Attended screamed at us was rude over sold us. How can I trust my children to be in there when the attendant is a hostile. Avoid if you can.

Very cool place to sit back and enjoy some games with the boys. The staff didn't know when the main arena would open so we waited almost an hour and a half when we were told to wait 37 mins. Didn't not appreciate that but we wait and drank at the bar across the arena.

The concept is great though the general systems are a bit dated. The staff were mistaken in the PC specifications and my one hour Warzone playtime was painful at best. Most of the machines on the floor are powered by a Ryzen 1600 with 16GB of RAM and a GTX1060 6GB. I was told that the machines were running an 8700K with a GTX1080ti. The most powerful PC they currently have is their "streaming rig" which is an Intel 8700 (non-K) with 32GB of DDR4 2666mhz and an RTX2080. Again, I love the idea of this area and the floor rigs with the aforementioned specs are strong enough to run titles like Fortnite, Valorant, etc. But unfortunately, Warzone is demanding and my experience was lackluster due to PC performance.

First time here with our 11 year old and had a great time. Victor, our new metal-gamer friend hooked our son up not only with some great gaming but a Friday night tournament too where he gamed against peeps 3x his age. He felt welcome, had a blast and for a non gamer Mom, I too felt welcome In a space that wasn't my comfort zone! Appreciate Victor specifically for making sure this 'noob' knew what was up and felt like it was a space for the whole family!

Ask the Community - HyperX Arena Las Vegas

Do they offer discount with mlife players card?

No, but you can redeem your points by bringing your receipt to the mlife desk.

How old do have to be to go there And is it a gaming arena?

I'm not an expert on this, but the yelp page says "suitable for kids". Yes, it is a gaming arena, they host E-Sports Tournaments, so I'd assume there would be an arena.

Can my son play Minecraft or Roblox there?

Yes to Minecraft, probably not Roblox. Just be aware that even if their calendar doesn't show anything, it may be rented to a private party. We went there specifically for the arena and it was rented for the entire time. They wouldn't even let us in…

Am I able to bring my own keyboard and mouse to play?

    Yes

Do you have Starcraft 2 available on your PCs?

    We do! :)

Can I bring my own PC/Laptop?

You are welcome to bring your own laptop to the venue, however we provide PC's and peripherals for regular gameplay and tournaments.

Is there VR here? And also, when is the top floor open? Wasn't able to go up there last time I went.

Hello Leroy, We do not currently offer VR. The top floor is accessible during our in-house events…

What games do they offer to play?

Hi Earl, thank you for taking the time to ask us a question. We offer most popular games for both console and PC. If we do not offer the game you're interested in playing, our team will be happy to help you download the game (when possible).

Can I use my Xbox Elite controller on these setups?

Hello Jared! You're more than welcome to use your Xbox Elite controller here at the arena (on Xbox & PC). We advise all our guest to bring a USB cable that works with their controller to ensure it will connect properly. If you happen to forget your…

Do you need to book or can you walk up?

You can walk straight up to the counter pay and start playing

Can you stream on twitch using their computers?

Hello Hamster, we do not allow guest to stream from the main PCs on the floor. We have a dedicated streamer booth in the main lobby for guest to rent out when wanting to stream.

Do they offer pedals/steering wheel for PC racing games such as iRacing?

Hi Mark, at this time we do not offer pedals or steering wheels for PC racing games. We do however provide mice, keyboard, and controller for all of our guest. If you're interested in using a steering wheel, we recommend you bring your own.

They had amazing craft cocktails with genius combinations. Surprisingly, it was Friday night around 10pm, and it was pretty empty. My husband and I aren't partiers or clubbers, so this was a wonderful experience of craft cocktails, a calm environment, not loud music, and chill, attractive ambiance and decor. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the bartender's name - but he was wonderful. Also a CA expat. I know this won't be the same for everyone that goes there, but pretty much had a one on one experience, because there was really no one else there. The food options looked great, but we just ate a large meal. They sounded great, and the prices were fair. Cocktail prices were also fair given the absolute quality and craft. I was disappointed by the simulation. $36 per person I think, for 3 races. Mind you, it is a simulation of an F1 car. I don't think all the kinks and knots were worked out on the machines, because they didn't work very well, races were short and didn't really seem worth the price. Now regardless of your skill or lack thereof with consoles and games, even my husband, who has a lot of experience playing driving and racing games with manual mode, found it troublesome It's a cool experience - but I wouldn't pay for it again. We absolutely love cars, so in general the theme is awesome (even if you're not a gearhead), but would come back here again for the amazing cocktails, especially if it's as chill and quiet as when we went here.
