My only ask on this vegas trip was to come here and be a kid again! To play all of our childhood games with no distractions for an hour and we did just that. The price increased from $10 to $12 unlimited play per hour plus $1 activation per card. The timer is built into the card, you'll see the remaining time on the screen. Just tap at the machines. Games with prizes such as the claw machines were bought for credits to use as tokens to play. Otherwise the arcade was unlimited per hour. The place wasn't that big but they carried all games from the 80s and on. It was very nostalgic for us all. Be patient as these are original machines that they recycle/refurbished from Japan and are 40-50 years old. Some were slow to start or didn't start at all. The instructions on the screen were in Japanese but you get the point. To maximize your time, come when they open otherwise you'll have fanatics who come and hog the machine all day. I got to be the race car driver, the basketball player, the deejay, dancer, bowler, saving citizens. Got to play games that I wasn't able to as a kid due to resources and played others for the first time. If you're hungry, they sell food and drinks inside their cafe. read more

Nest Arcade is such a fun vibe!! I came here over the weekend on a short trip to Las Vegas. This location is off the strip and located within China Town. It's a small location, but packed with many unique and old school games. I loved the play by the hour option - only $12 an hour. They also have other pricing options too. This arcade was honestly so much fun. They had a ton of really cool Japanese games that you don't normally see anywhere else, which made the whole experience feel unique. The machines were in great condition, the arcade was clean, and there was a good variety of games to choose from. I love how affordable it is and they charge you PER HOUR which is a way better deal than Dave and busters, or should I say Dave and Pocket Busters! There is a 60 second cool down period before you can swipe again. Crane/claw machines that give you a physical prize to take home are not included within the unlimited play. Talked to the manager after a small incident and they were very calm and understanding. Not to mention that this place is one of the best in Vegas considering their huge variety of arcade games. Most arcades are really dull and repetitive but at this arcade I could spend hours here and not get bored. Great arcade to hang out in! My friends and I were finding a place in the area to spend an hour in, and we stumbled across this venue. It's got a whole bunch of Japanese arcade games, some classics like skeeball and basketball, and an area to buy snacks and drinks. I HIGHLY recommend the $12 for 1 hour option for the best bang for your buck, especially if you suck at those arcade games where "if you die, you have to insert more tokens, but you suck so you die every minute". It was our first time at this arcade. Their rates are actually affordable and to me is worth it we purchased the $12 card for an hour just for games and got the $33 for 185 credits. They do charge $1 for card activation so keep ur cards next time. This place is a good size arcade they had lots or games not too much games for credits maybe less than 10 games They also had a cafe with great prices. Their restrooms were clean when I used it 3 stalls no baby changing pad no napkins to wipe your hands just a hand dryer. OMG, a full hour nonstop games do $12? I thought the games were going to be trash, but they were really fun! All the kids had a blast!!! I will recommend this to everyone who loves arcade games! Decided to stop in after seeing this arcade around for awhile. Purchased two hourly passes. Was charged a card fee because I didn't already have a card. Wish that wasn't a hidden fee. The games were older; some classics. Good represent action of Japanese games, rhythm games, shooters, some carnival classics like basketball and speedball. Some games were in Japanese only so we were a bit lost on all the functionality or options in the games. There aren't many brand new games, but I think that's because new arcade games aren't being produced anymore like they used to be. Expect some of the bugger name older classics. The player 1 gun of Time Crisis aim alignment is completely off which made it feel like lost time playing a broken game. I was probably mist excited to play that. Wish there were more coop beat em up classics like Turtles In Time or the XMen games. It was OK. Likely won't be back but I don't think they're catering to my demographic seeking nostalgia entertainment. I applaud them for being in what I think is a tough business keeping an out of fashion nostalgic relic alive. I wish I had more reasons to return and support the business. read more

This is a Japanese arcade with lots of unique games you won't find at any other arcade places. However, some of the games are completely in Japanese so it may be hard to learn how to play some of them. All of the games are paid by a game card in which there's only 5 tiers of payments: $11, $22, $33, $44, and $110. Each higher tier gives you more bonus credits. You can also opt for the hourly rate of $12. New cards cost an additional $1. Thus, for my crony and I, we paid $23 for 115 credits. What this really means is that it allowed us 18 plays which means you are paying an average of $1.28 to play one game. My personal favorite was the basketball connect four game which I felt was a really cool, but simple take on the classic connect four game. If you like arcade games and are looking for a unique experience, you should really stop by here. read more

Such a cool spot! Been here twice now and it's quickly turning into a must whenever we visit the area. Super reasonable price; I think we paid $12 per person per hour. You definitely spend way more in a traditional arcade than that (at least if you die as quickly in time crisis 4 as I do). Love that there's so much variety. There's racing games, DDR, carnival-type games, and shoot games, truly something for everyone. Everything is in great shape, didn't feel at all like it wasn't being maintained. Some of the games are in Japanese only so potentially can take some time to figure out how to navigate those. There are so many games to enjoy, and the vibe is super fun. We even had an issue with one of our cards not having the correct time, and one of the workers gave us extra time. Game Nest Arcade is a great place to hang out if you like arcades in general. While it's no Round 1, I certainly enjoyed my time here. Walking in, you can get a game card that you can pay for credits based on how much you pay or you can pay hourly for unlimited games. Depending on how long you stay, I think it's better if you pay for credits. There's a lot more niche Japanese arcade games that you may have seen at conventions or at other arcades, mainly the music game selection, Initial D/Wangan Midnight cabs, Gundam VS cabs, Densha De Go, or even the claw machines. It's a lot of fun if you have seen people play them but there is something for everyone. I spent about two hours there but I'd probably stay more if I didnt have a flight that day. What I really found cool is the cards are tap to play so it's a feature I wish more places have. Parking can be a pain to find but I believe theres more parking in the plaza right next to it. Almost all of the games were Japanese and the only dock on my stars was for lack of instructions. A friend recommended this arcade, so of course we had to check it out! We came by at night about 1-2 hours before closing and it was still busy. The parking can get filled up so be prepared to look around or wait for a parking spot. We didn't have to wait long though and it was worth it. It was our first time so we inquired with the employee at the counter. He was really helpful and took the time to explain it all to use. You get a game card and can either pay hourly for unlimited games (claw machines not included) or you can add a specific dollar amount and use it for games and claw machines. It's not a big arcade but its a decent size. What really makes it different is the types of games. There are a lot of specialty games, and classic games. Shooters, rhythm, anime, sports you name it. Then the claw machines. Really cool but we didn't try them as we opted for the hourly game cards with unlimited usage. We'll save the claws for next time lol. We had a ton of fun!
