The staff is experienced and knowledgeable and do a tremendous job with everything. I felt very safe trusting my eyes to this team. While maybe not as cheap as some other Lasik spots, I'd rather pay a little extra to have one of the most reputable in the business do my eyes. This is something for life, and something I use 18 hours a day. The treatment itself is pain free and quick, and within 24 hours I was better than 20/20 in both eyes and still can't believe it. I indicated I would try. The next day I called the office to get the exact address (for map quest). Their system was automated and informed me a I would receive a text with the address to the phone number I was calling. At that time, I copy/paste that address into maps. On my way to the appointment, the office called asking if I was coming to my appointment. I indicated I was in the car and on my way. Upon arrival to the text address, I realized the text from the Dr's office was incorrect. The Dr. office had sent me to the incorrect address. I called the office and that is when the receptionist told me they needed to reschedule (I still had 11 minutes to make my appointment). Needless to say, this office has the the poorest customer service, horrible communication and based on my experience had no concern for my time (only the Dr. had to go to lunch.......almost a direct quote). I admit I was heated in my talk with the receptionist. As I had wasted 30 minutes driving to get to my appointment. I would not recommend this office to anyone who values their time as much as I do.

Despite not purchasing the Costas at Hathy, they were able to get Costa to provide a replacement pair and swapped out my lenses at no cost. I primarily worked with Nick, who was knowledgeable and super helpful. The entire staff was friendly and did a great job. They also have a large selection of prescription sunglasses from Maui Jim, Costa, and Bajío. My overall experience was excellent and I'm definitely coming back to purchase my next pair of prescription sunglasses.

The front desk led me through the back way to get me to where I needed to be. The front desk was super nice. I was checked in, the nurse called me back and numbed my eye and Dr Bullock did the procedure. It was quick and easy. I left with a prescription that I picked up at the local Walmart. My son happened to be reporting for college football the next day- we were not aware he was leaving so early until 2 days prior. Cassie welcomed us and assured us my son would be seen. We discussed the situation and she was excited for him and said they will take care of him. 10-15 minutes later: enter Jerry or Jeremy - through the front door (whatever he is deciding to call himself today). He came into the store at approximately 5:40. He told my son the dr. was unable to see him as they were 'legally bound' to make sure the optometrist can leave by 6:00 pm, that he came in too late and someone came in earlier and they decided to see him instead. My son called me and told me a man came in from break and the situation at hand. When I called to speak to Jerry/Jeremy he kept laughing at me, saying he wasn't on break. Found it hysterical. Said my son was too late and they couldn't do anything because of the binding agreement with the optometrist. I said I hope that the conversation was being recorded and he laughed and said he did too. Being that my husband and I were at Wal-Mart (very close to the store - grabbing dorm room items), my husband heard him laughing at me and went over to the store. Jerry/Jeremy was unable to provide proof of their 'legal' obligation and smelled profusely of certain substances. I go in for the manager's direct line and all of a sudden Jerry/Jeremy says the optometrist CAN see him, but at this point I'm beyond livid all while trying to wrap my head around get my freshman off to college with 2 days notice. We leave. We ask for the general manager's number, Jerry/Jeremy gladly passes it on (almost as if he knows nothing will become of it). When I call, the 'direct line' was the store's number and Jerry/Jeremy answered. He said, "oops, I guess he lists this as his number." I asked for Brian Captio to return my call, I still haven't heard from him. I call today to speak to him- but of course he's in a 'meeting' and 'unavailable.'

I have been going to Bowden Eye Associates for a few years and I have never had any real problem…read more(aside from a scheduling issue -- which was worked out.) Dr. Robben is an amazing doctor. I've been seen for everything from near sightedness to a scratched cornea (damn that hurts!!) he & the staff have always been so helpful & caring. I've been seen here and at the location off 210! Both are equally as good!
