Woke up to my dog puking and pooping blood all over the house, and an emergency vet appointment was needed. There was no way I could make a 9am appointment and called to reschedule. Was told that I would be charged $50 for not giving 24 hours' notice. I hadn't even had the appointment for 24 hours, so that is a ridiculous statement. They said I am being charged because I canceled another appointment in 2022....2 years ago. I really enjoyed Dr. Porter, but not this practice. I understand that people are flaky and don't show up for appointments. However, there is also something called common courtesy for those of us who are legitimately dealing with a crisis. I've got a $250 vet bill from yesterday and now another bill for nothing. Update: I received a phone call that the fee was being waived, and the woman even asked how my dog was. Someone also responded to my review, saying they would waive the fee. However, I have now received a 2nd bill for a "no show fee" of $50. And the kicker is there isn't even a phone number for me to contact someone. It is literally 000-000-0000. WOW!

I have been to three Chiro's in my 46 years and I have never had this quality of service and knowledge with any other practice. I am a Retired US Marine and this is the first time I had a woman adjust my back. They were very efficient in their technique and extremely personable. They want to make sure you are treated correctly and they do not push you for treatments you do not need. The wait time was maybe 5-7 minutes...if that! The facility is nice, clean, quite pretty, and Christian music played in the background. Every person there, including the receptionist, made me feel as welcomed as possible. I felt important, and like they truly wanted me there. Being military, I've been to dentists across the country over the past 20+ years, none have been as kind and personable as this crew. They made an effort to get to know me and even joke around with me. They even remembered my husband's visit when I mentioned him. I've never felt so seen and pampered in a dentist office before. When it came to my teeth, I knew a lot of work needed to be done. So far, my out of pocket costs have been be approximately 70 percent less than Aspen tried to charge me. That being said, there was some kind of misunderstanding that almost made me call and cancel my next appt and find a new dentist. It was related to insurance coverage, which by the way, they are in network with United Concordia. With the extra work I needed, my insurance doesn't cover very much, so I was left paying a lot out of pocket(still much less than Aspen). I had a large filling from a molar crumble and turn back into a cavity, so they insisted on using porcelain for durability. Porcelain is very expensive and my insurance doesn't cover it, so that's where the confusion was. I was left wondering if they were in network because I'd never paid more than 30 dollars for a filling in my life. I didn't know there were different types of fillings, as I'm not a dentist. If I were to improve something about this office, I would have them send home an estimated and itemized list of service costs so that the client can have it in hand to review and organize financials prior to the next visit. From stepping foot inside for the first time, until I left, the team continuously checked to see how I was doing, made me feel as comfortable as possible, offered me a spirit-free cocktail, coffee, water, etc. They were gentle with my teeth, informative, answered every question I had thoroughly. The Dr. walked me up to reception after and made sure I was ok before leaving. I even received a hand written note in the mail with a small token of appreciation. I truly feel like Dr. Sanders and his team care about their patients. I do recommend their services to others and I'll be passing along their info to our military group.

I tried this place because it was closer than my original dentist I've been seeing every six…read moremonths. When I visited, they told me I had fifteen cavities. I was shocked. With that, they came up with a treatment plan, spent time calling my insurance and scheduling the next four appointments to treat. I was there over an hour and didn't get my teeth cleaned for my semi annual cleaning. Instead they wanted to do a $350 gum treatment - which I did agree to do and had done that day. At first, I blamed myself for not flossing enough, aging, maybe the medication I had taken over the last year. I also thought, maybe this dentist has better technology and can see my cavities. But I had some family and friends encourage me to get a second opinion - which I did and confirmed I didn't have fifteen cavities but only one. I hate to feel like I was taken advantage of in this situation, but I just don't know any other way to explain what happened here.

Now, I hide my breast that suffered multiple scarring infections and now are too little shrivel pockets of flesh I hide from everybody. I have to search out thickly padded bras just to have a little bit of a profile and clothes. My journey was a nightmare, and he always blames my body. Even finding out, I had a right breast full of silicone due to an apparently cut implant I had to have him removed after I was hospitalized with an infection. He never mentioned that the implant had come out with a tear or that he accidentally cut it during the removal. Maybe that was the reason for the serious an extended infections I suffer. I'll never get that time back and I miss my large if saggy warm and cuddly breasts that I gave up in hopes of having rest that I could wear a sundress in. I'm sure he does a great job on young women. I remember stopping into his new beaches office, which was quite a step up from when I met him. I think that was the year. He was the plastic surgeon of the jaguars. I ran into a woman about five years younger than me that was there because she had a tummy, tuck makeover, and the staples whatever was used to close. The incision got terribly infected, and she was going through multiple treatments in hospitalization. But she loved him. Everyone loves him. Just remember, ladies don't let any doctor blame your body because they don't factor in the risks and listen to your description of your experiences prior to the surgery. His PA jewel knew that I had thrown down some red flags that Dr. Basil totally ignored. Women are not cookie-cutter dolls. We are all individual. I need to be treated with the upmost care and respect and you need to listen to what we tell you. I'm sure he's learned a lot by now. I will always wish him and his beautiful family, happiness, and success. But my regret is a bucket overflowing.
