The best nail salon I have ever been to! First of all, as soon as I walked in I was welcomed and sat right down, assured I will love it here. And she was right! My tech Nina was wonderful and so pleasant, letting me know before she did my nails that she can do all of the designs. These BEAUTIES only costed me $65 for a fill, with all designs. Not happy at all. Customer service was great but the quality and pricing was horrible for what you get. It was $100 for Gel acrylic nails and a Gel pedicure. That would have been fine price-wise if the quality wasn't so bad. The woman sliced my fingers twice and when I told her, she just made a joke out of it. Now my one finger is infected and is very painful. The acrylics are crooked and the polish is textured and did not stay glossy. The pedicure polish came off of two toes in two days. Definitely not interested in going back there. The owner is also the one who did my manicure, I expected better. I was talking to someone else and she said that her acrylics also started to dull in shine a few days after she left and that hers were crooked too. read more

Walking around as a brown person in CNY has been pretty horrible, especially since I'm from California. But these people really take the cake. Hands down (pun intended) one of the worst RACIST experiences I've had in my life, something I never expected coming from other POC. I had called the day before and made an appt for a pedicure the next day at 12. I arrived on time, and was seated over in the pedicure chairs. These people made me wait 45 mins past my appt time, all the while seating and working on all of the white patrons who had come in AFTER me. No one spoke to me, or even looked in my direction. It was like I was invisible. After about the 30 min mark, And nearly in tears, I flagged down one woman worker and asked her if I should just leave since it seemed like they had no intention of working on me? She pretended like she DIDNT SPEAK ENGLISH. Right. A young person, probably no older than 25, living in America, doesn't know English? I'm sure she could speak and write better English than me. She eventually shrugged her shoulders and hurried off to work on another white person who came in without an appointment. I sat there for another 10 minutes trying to just control my anger. That's seriously the only reason why I stayed. Eventually some woman nervously approached me and started my pedicure. No apologies for the 40 min wait, and skimped on my "supposed" massage that was a part of my chosen pedicure package. Once she finished, some other ignorant staff person who had promptly sat a white woman next to me and was working on her, had the nerve to turn to me and say "How are you?! I have seen you in a while!" So now, after nearly an hour in this sh*thole, someone decides to speak to me, but only to be extremely condescending and ultra racist - insinuating that all brown people look the same? This was my first visit there, I had never met this woman, and I will never be back. Really hope the whole establishment goes bankrupt and a health inspector gets tipped off. Y'all, next time, please just hang a "Whites Only" sign on the front door. That would have saved us all some time and energy. read more

I absolutely love clay nails! (I have been coming here about 4 years consistently now) Every time I go there whether it is for a fresh full set, a dip, or pedicure, I am always so happy! My nails are always so strong, they RARELY break, the only time I had a problem with them breaking is when I had them long with a dip on my real nail! Everything always holds up and lasts incredibly long! Way longer than anywhere else around. I'll drive about 25 minutes just to come to Clay nails because I think it is worth the trip compared to going anywhere else closer! Will say that there have been times I have made an appointment and still had to wait 30 or 40 minutes past my appointment time to be seen, which can be incredibly irritating and hard to plan for but I have noticed an improvement since Covid and the new set up! LOVE LOVE LOVE Clay nails and I recommend to anyone & everyone whether you're looking for some fun claws or a more natural look. read more

I've gone to clay nails for a year and a half now. I make an appointment every time and pay $200+ ..... I wait at least an hour past my scheduled appointments with Katie and she rushes through my set every time. Two of my friends have got infections because they don't clean and sterilize their equipment properly. You have lost my business completely after three of my nails have fallen off since I got them done two weeks ago, and I waited an hour and 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment when I had to be to class at a certain time, which I was obviously late for and that's why I scheduled for that time period. Bad service, unpredictable scheduling, unsanitary, and they don't care that people have things to do and that's why they set appointments. read more

the nails were so uneven and not that pretty. we saw our original nails under the fake nails. they took 30 mins for two of us we feel as if they were rushed and that's including waiting for me to get the pedicure. it was $120 just for 2 sets of nails, also the hot water was not working. and they were really rough with us. read more

Absolutely LOVE Clay Nails, I drive 40 minutes to see them. Always such great results, my favorite nail salon by far. I showed them a Pinterest post and they had no problem at all replicating it. My first appointment with this business went south. I was ignored for 20 minutes past my appointment .Not one employee was around , I sat in waiting room alone, for 20 min past appointment. Had to look for an employee in another room to explain the situation. Then she laughed. She said they were busy ! Is that a reason to ignore your client?. I'm licensed, and worked this type of business for 20 yrs and was trained in ny to be more professional than that. Being busy is no excuse for bad manners. First time visit because reviews said how good this place was but they way over charged me and when I pointed out pricing on their sign that clearly shows what they charge for each of the services I had done the lady working there began telling me that the way it was listed wasn't what it was and meant something else and since I had gotten "diamonds" aka plastic fake gems that was the reason for the price! So over a hundred bucks later I had an acrylic fill and standard pedi both with gel polish and some gems and ended up leaving with bubbled up polish, crooked gems and 100 bucks less in my bank account. My regular salon does a much better quality of work, is a lot friendlier ( Tech didn't even speak a word to me) they charge less and the pricing is exactly as shown. Wont be returning. read more
