Dealing with this office has been the worst medical experience I've ever had…read more 2 years ago, I saw Dr Rupp for vision that had suddenly worsened. In total, I had 3 appointments and many tests. When all was said and done, I was told that my prescription was only slightly different. When I told them that my vision was still extremely blurry, and that I was still struggling to drive and work, I was told that my eyes were fine and sent on my way. In March of this year, I made another appointment because my vision was getting even worse. The tech who was testing my eyes again commented that my vision was only slightly changed from my last appointment. When I expressed that I didn't understand how that could be because I was struggling to do even basic things, she mentioned that maybe it was because of my cataracts. I responded that we should check to make sure that she had the correct patient file, because I did not in fact have cataracts, she corrected me and told me that I did. She then didn't have much to say (understandably) until the doctor came in. This time, I saw doctor Church. When I expressed dismay that I wasn't told that I had cataracts, and that I had no idea of what was going on, Dr. Church looked at me and told me that all he could speak to was the here and now and that my eyes were fine and my cataracts were "mild". Shortly afterward, I was ushered out of the office- with zero information about what cataracts meant for future health and what my care plan would be. After I returned home, I called back and spoke with the office manager Jeremy. I expressed concern about the breakdown in communication and stressed that more than anything, I needed some education and information about what this diagnosis would mean for me moving forward. Jeremy promised he'd call back the next day. He called back 2 days later to advise that he wanted to talk to Dr. Rupp and would call me the following Monday. After 2 weeks, I called and left a voicemail for him and asked for a callback. It's now been 3 weeks and I have never heard from him again. I was frustrated initially with the lapse in communication, but my bigger frustration and concern is that clearly, they don't care at all. A simple call back from a doctor (or anyone) would have fixed everything. More than anything, I just needed patient counseling. Apparently, they don't have any duty of care standards. The lack of professionalism is astonishing. I've since seen another doctor and will be getting surgery soon. I would never recommend this office for their appalling lack of communication, absence of customer service, and lack of care of their patients. I've had many health issues and procedures and this is the only negative review I've ever written. I understand that a breakdown in communication can occur, but the fact that I got zero acknowledgement (let alone any kind of apology)or even any information about what was going on with my own health is unacceptable.

When I went to check-in they had some questions about insurance. Our insurance had changed but we checked before scheduling to make sure they were in network. We have 2 versions of insurance, one that covers exams & one that covers lenses & contacts. They knew it had changed but didn't request anything before to get it cleared up and then while trying to answer questions with my wife on the phone looking it up, Julie cut me off multiple times & seemed like she didn't want to do anything but prove my insurance wasn't good. The last thing I was told by her was "they would bill it to my insurance but I know they won't cover it so they will send us the bill after." Since it seemed like she really didn't want my business I just decided to leave. Both my daughter & I have been going there but we won't anymore. It's too bad because Dr. Dygart is awesome but I have never dealt with someone so condescending or treated so poorly. Even better, after leaving we called our insurance & they confirmed it was fully covered.

Spent 5-6 days on the phone trying to fix the problem. Finally was told I had to write a letter to request a change to her medical record. That is ridiculous!!!! But I did it. She did apologize and told me she knew how I must feel because she is Jewish but the damage was done. I talked to the Dr. and he was mad at me because she was starting to cry for no reason. Then he compared his Mormon background to hers and would not reprimand her. With her background she should have known better but instead attacked me and then shed crocodile tears. When I had concerns about the drops he would switch me to a worse drop. My concerns about pain in my eyes were written off as dry eye. He seems to have a very narrow view of eye diseases.

I felt confident going into surgery knowing he knew my eyes and my correction. Having my eyes operated on seemed daunting and scary but Dr. Richards was very reassuring and calming. I had a breast augmentation done at Brzowski's August 2023. It has left me with very asymmetrical…read moreareolas. Dr. Bzowski has never been able to provide me with a medical explanation as to what happened with my nipples. He instead led me on for a year saying that it would change with healing, and then that he could fix it. Until my last appointment with him when he said going back into surgery could make it worse. My experiences with them prior to surgery were great, his staff is very friendly and helpful. They prepare you very well for everything you need to do and what medications you need to get before surgery, and I experienced no pain whatsoever from my operation. My postop appointment's is when things started to get sketchy. The first time the bandages on my breasts were removed revealing the shape of my areolas, the doctor didn't even acknowledge the drastic size difference, I only noticed when he had left the appointment and I looked in the mirror, I'm sure you can imagine my devastation. After consulting with other plastic surgeons, they've been able to provide me with multiple explanations as to what might have gone wrong. They've also proposed a way to fix it that was different than what Brzowski was proposing, and it makes more sense to me due to better explanation and understanding of my situation, and of course confidence in success. It's also worth noting that when I requested my file from Brzowskis, the most important paper (my operation notes in full) was missing. This has been a long and depressing journey for me. It's no fun paying 12k just to replace your insecurity with a worse one. Brzowski's also been unwilling to refund me just %15 of what I paid him, so I can either put it towards a tattoo cover up or another procedure with my new surgeon who was able to 100% guarantee me success that he could fix it, unlike Brzowski who expected me to flip a coin without even knowing what went wrong the first time. Unfortunately my opinion of Brzowski is he mainly cares about money, not his patients well being. I strongly advise to not come here, and to go to Dr. Richard Fryer instead. Fryer cared about my well being and even offered to contact Brzowski for me to get the missing paper in my file, and proposed many options to save me money. Brzowski will try to talk you into paying more by suggesting things like liposuction. Im still holding out hope Brzowski has a change of heart on my very reasonable refund request, so I can finally look at myself in the mirror without devastation and regret.
