Tale your move in pictures and move out pictures to CYA. I had to fight them because they bought a property I was in. Luckily, my lease was coming up and I got as far away from them as possible. Years later when I went to purchase my home, I found out they had over $3,000. on my credit saying I owed it for damages. The place was cleaner/nicer than it was when I moved in and bug free for the first time in decades. I had it rent ready as I have done with each property I've ever rented. I won my case as they couldn't bully me. I had proof with my move in and move out pictures.
