I went to Dr Hughes several years ago for bags under my eyes. The first time I went to her she…read moresuggested a conjugated blepharoplasty with skin pinches on both eyes and have me an estimate. My father passed away shortly after and I waited a year to come back and get the surgery. When I returned I received a different recommendation of fat transfer. I asked several times how fat transfer was going to help with bags under my eyes and they kept assuring me I would get the results I wanted. My results were horrible I still have bags under my eyes and there is no difference in them before or after just a horrible recovery period where I had swelling bruising and skin discoloration for 8 months after surgery. I'm sure she probably gets it right with most patients but she did not get it right with me, nor did the office attempt to make things right in anyway possible. Unlike most of her patients I'm not wealthy and this surgery was an investment for me towards the longevity of my career in entertainment and it was an EPIC fail.

I always leave happy. I have visited other centers for Botox and they have suggested almost double what Dr. Hughes injects into my forehead. I don't feel over done when I leave the office. They do sell you different products however I have had success with their skincare lines. I believe the skin care they are selling is better than buying in other stores and they are suggesting a regimen and teach how to layer your products which is import.

Was seen by the doctor approx. 20 min after original appointment time which wasn't bad. Dr. Buck seemed very knowledgeable. She had a couple of assistants with her who were shadowing which was ok but could see how it could make someone uncomfortable. She was able to appropriately diagnose me and assist with treatment. She was pretty firm and direct and listened with an attentive ear. I'd recommend anyone to try her out for a first time if you have not been to this location.

I went for a mole check since skin cancer runs in my family. I sat in Dr. Buck's waiting room for 2 & 1/2 hours with 15 other people waiting to see her. No explanation or apology, even when I asked at reception. Finally got in to see her, nurse told me to undress, and Dr. Buck appeared dressed in a fancy maxi skirt (before they were back in style), lots of make-up considering it was not a formal evening event, very over dressed. She counted like 24 moles that she wanted to test, by shaving the top of it off and sending it for a biopsy. She wanted to do one right away and did. It was painless and healed well. Seemed like a lot of procedures to me. She told me to make an appointment. I asked her to look at a small rash in my arm pit. She said she only did 1 thing per appt. Well that was my limit. I said "You mean I have to come back and wait 2 & a half hours for you to look at a small rash?" She agreed to look at it. Within one minute she asked if when I shaved did I leave the razor in my shower? Yes I did. She said it was a reaction to mold and mildew and I should buy a cream at reception and stop leaving the razor in the shower. Easy answer, very fast, what a fuss over one minute. I had another question about my rosacea, but decided not to go thru it because her demeanor became even colder than before. She clearly resented that I criticized the policy and the wait time, and had the gall to ask her to look at another problem I was having. Btw, I am extremely polite to everyone unless they are mean or treat me badly, then I stick up for myself. I bought the cream, did not make another appt., and left to find a different dr. I have never known a dr. who would not check on a small easy second health issue nor had I ever seen a dr working at her office dressed so formally. The office never called me to give me results or try to get me in. The only positive thing I can say is my 90 year old father likes her because she's pretty. She is. Looks don't make a person smart and heavy evening style makeup and over dressing does not instill confidence, it's just uncomfortable and made me wonder if the elevator went to the top floor. I can't recommend her unless you just want to see what she looks like and don't care how you are treated. Thats not on my list of important qualities in a dr. Sorry. I don't like writing this but it's true.
