We paid a lot of money for 6 certificates to Cleaning Corp which they donated for a fundraiser. The donation was appreciated, but we had a terrible experience with the company. If we hadn't paid for the certificates upfront, we would have canceled services after the 2nd cleaning. They rescheduled 5 times out of 6 cleanings. This was a huge inconvenience as I scheduled to be home around the cleanings. They had cleaners who I caught dusting with the same rag they used to mop the floor (but she admitted she rinsed it out in the sink she already cleaned before using it to dust). GROSS! Our certificates were for 3 hour cleanings. Not one group could clean the same areas within the 3 hours, so it was impossible to manage expectations for the cleaning. Very frustrating! They would send 3 cleaners, cleaning one hour a piece (which was fine), but when one cleaner was done, they just sat around or chatted with others and didn't use the rest of their hour to clean other areas. So a lot of the house was left not cleaned after the 3 hour limit. They have a decent customer service team, but I suppose they have to when they have such terrible service. Very unprofessional. I needed cleaners after dealing with Covid which means my energy was very low and I was moving very slow. They first had the wrong number that I never provided them. I had to call and rectify. I scheduled the call early in the morning around 10am. They kept telling me the cleaners are 5 minutes away or they were in front which was killing me to go down my apartment and not find anyone. It was 7pm and no one still showed up. (I live on the 5th floor of my complex). The next day I never got a call to have an ETA. When I told them that I didnt want to use their service I still got charge 173 dollars for nothing. After weeks of leaving phone messages with these guys, we tried e-mail -- which actually kind of worked: they will eventually get back to you via email. They gave me an appointment that was weeks away, their time & date suggestion, and then stood me up. When I complained, they offered me an appointment for two days later, and stood me up again. Ok. I bought a gift certificate for Clean Corp through Groupon early in the year. I called them shortly after and they said that they were not taking Groupon clients for the next month or so. I thought this was strange, but accepted it. I thought that maybe they were getting bombarded by gift certs. So...after more than a month, I called back. Left a message. A week later without a response, called again. Left another message. Would you believe I called for a third time and STILL no response? Well...believe it. I decided to them email Groupon about this...thinking they would be able to help me. See below for my email I sent to Groupon, which I never received a response from either. "I have tried several times to redeem a Groupon certificate I purchased this year. I spoke to Clean Corp about 3 months ago and they said they were booked for the next month or so for all clients using a Groupon certificate. It is 1hr and 15mins since our scheduled appointment to clean my condo and I'm still sitting here waiting for them. I called their 404 number and left a couple messages with them. I also emailed the 'yourfriends[at]' email address and have yet to hear anything back. I am just completely fed up with this company and my entire experience with them! I purchased a Groupon for a 2 hour cleaning session and tried unsuccessfully multiple times to contact the company to schedule a cleaning. When I finally got someone to contact me about the services, I learned I'd have to wait a month before the next available appointment. Fine. Let me preface this next part by saying that I live in a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath townhouse that is, by no means, what I'd call "large." When my husband and I clean, we are able to get everything done in under an hour. The two cleaners arrived early for their appointment, which was not a big deal - at least they showed up. After two hours, the house was clean (definitely not spotless), but they had not vacuumed upstairs or cleaned either of the two bathrooms upstairs. We told them not to worry about cleaning two of our three bedrooms because they are rarely used. I have no idea how two people could have run out of time to clean the two bathrooms and vacuum when my husband and I are able to get all of that and more done in one hour. After they left, we discovered that they broke our sink stand in the half bathroom downstairs and in doing so, damaged the wall behind the sink. I give 'em 2 stars for the quick call and for taking time to give me details about what they have to offer. Ah! I don't enjoy going out of my way to give a company 1 star but hopefully it will help the company to improve its communication going forward. Clean Corp ran a very popular Groupon last Sunday ($35 / 2 hr, amazing!) This could have created a larger load of customers than the company is typically use to, which I expected. However what Clean Corp has been doing is cutting off communication with their customers completely. (or at least to me) Monday + Tuesday called many times(during business hours) with no answer, plus the mailbox was full so I was unable to even leave a message. Weds called many times, no answer but was able to leave one message stating that I would like to make an appointment when available. Today called many, many times. No answer and doesn't go to voicemail, it just goes to a phone disconnected sound. I can definitely understand if they get too busy and need to start scheduling appointments far out. But to just have no one available to answer phones? Or provide a way for customers to schedule an appointment after 4 days of attempts? Current suggestions - Thank you for the Groupon, but if you are not prepared to handle the offer, then please don't offer it. - If you do get an influx, obviously that is a good sign for the company, so don't be afraid to hire another person or 2 to field phone calls during the busy weeks so that customers aren't just left hanging in the unknown, with a computer printout they cannot use. Again, this has nothing to do with Clean Corp's cleaning ability. I cannot comment on that since I can't even get to the scheduling phase, or even the communication phase. If I do get through to Clean Corp in the near future, and they someday are able to come to my apartment for a cleaning, I will more than gladly submit another review or update this review to reflect any changes experienced. Unfortunately, this will be one of the most negative reviews I've ever written. Everything started off fine with a reservation for a specific time slot to clean an apartment that I had already moved out of but would not be present for the cleaning. The next day I received a text from an unknown number with no introduction asking if we could reschedule for earlier in the day. I agreed to a new time slot of of 8:00-10:00. The day of the cleaning comes and I receive a call at the gate at approximately 11:30 (yes, approx an hour and a half later then scheduled with no courtesy call). Despite the lack of professionalism, I choose not to be petty and call this in and cancel. Later in the afternoon, I assume the cleaning is complete but, again, no courtesy call or notification that anything was done (odd right?). I show up the next day (last day on lease) to do a last minute check for anything that was missed and I am deeply confused. It looks like nothing is done in the main rooms. At this point I am thinking that maybe the cleaner just did a ridiculous job in the bedrooms but that would still be overkill because the quoted time for the job was three hours and forty five minutes. Upon entering the rooms I can tell that nothing has been done. No counters wiped, no toilets cleaned, no carpet vacuumed. I call in straight away and the person who answers is very confused. They sound as if they didn't even have my service on file. Three days later and I've gotten nothing but conflicting reports on what was done. At first, they admitted they couldn't clean it. Then they were there but for a short while, then it was two hours (keep in mind this would still be far less than the quoted 3:45 amount of time). Also, when asked what was cleaned, they cant give A SINGLE EXAMPLE (even when their service list is referenced). Now they are just accusatory saying it was the dirtiest unit they've ever seen which is patently untrue. This whole thing has me fuming and copies of this review are being sent to pretty much anybody any association that does quality checks. Also the first time in my life that I will have to refute a charge. Edit: I feel the need to contest what Charnell has said since she claims that they operated in "good faith". It is extremely telling that the story has changed yet again and now there were supposedly two cleaners there as well (multiple times I spoke with the supervisor and this was not mentioned). Note that being an hour and a half late is also not addressed. Note how Charnell has neglected to mention what was actually cleaned yet again. Charnell can not answer this question because nothing was cleaned..... I have additional images that I went and took yesterday with permission from my complex that i have added to the refutation. The images I attached were of un-vacuumed carpet and un-wiped counters (two of the MOST BASIC tasks in cleaning). I have a busy schedule, that is specifically why i went through the trouble of obtaining a cleaning service and I did not have the time to show a picture of every aspect of an uncleaned apartment. So how about this Charnell, list what you think was cleaned and I will post images of what it actually looks like. Avoid this group at all costs. read more

When I finally got an appointment, one person showed up and "cleaned" for 4 hours. When she said she was finished, the top of stove was not cleaned, stated that the oven was not included, and the blinds that she said was included were not done. There was no aromatherapy.....the house was not left "smelling like flowers". This company obviously does not want to continue in business,b/c Groupon should be an opportunity to advertise their company... their only statement as a result, is that they cannot deliver what they advertise or promise and provide an very inferior service. read more

I also bought a groupon. It's almost been a year, my group is going to expire soon, but every time I try and schedule they say groupon members have a month wait-time. I finally got an appointment and they called to cancel 12 hours prior and said the staff is sick. They were very unapologetic and rude. It is inexcusable how they conduct business. It would appear this company is a either a sham, or is so busy they cannot possibly find time to return calls/emails. Never trust this company and never buy the groupon for their clean!! I bought two groupons last year and each is for two hours. first time I was able to make an appointment and the ladies came on time. They worked four hours (I paid more for extra two hours bacause they do not allow to use twos coupons at the sametime, which is fine for me. ) They were very slow. one of the lady only cleaned one half bath and mop the dust on the window blinds (only finished about 3/4 of totally 20 windows) for four hours! They took my new broom and dust pan away when they left and left their old and poor broom and dust pan for me without mention anything. I noticed that after they left. I called their service line later on and was told that they would come tomorrow morning to return my stuff. but 10 month passed since then, nobody comes!! I try to called again but nobdy picked up the phone. I gived up bacause that is not a big deal comparing to my time. recently I began to make another appointment with them bacause I have one more coupon left. it will expires next month. luckily somebody picked up my first call. When I told them I wanted to use my groupon. they told me that the appointment guy will call me within one day to schedule a clean time for me. two weeks passed. nobody called me!!! Not sure what exactly happened to them, but I called literally the morning after I got the Groupon at like 8 am just b/c I was in desperate need to get my apartment cleaned. They answered promptly and an appointment was available for when I needed them. After reading everyone's reviews and comments on Groupon, I was a little nervous they wouldn't show up... but they did! and very on time too! They did a very excellent job cleaning and left my apartment smelling like flowers. My only gripe is that they were supposed to be at my apartment for 2 hours total. Thinking that my apartment was a total mess I told them at the beginning that the priorities were kitchen, bathroom, and vacuuming the common area. They finished in about an hour and asked me to do a walk through and left. There was still an hour left! and although I didn't ask them at the beginning to clean my bedroom as a priority, they could have offered if there was time left?? I guess it's both my fault and theirs. I really do hope they get their act together though. I had no problems scheduling an appointment the first time I called Clean Corp. They showed up on time (actually a bit early) and got right to work. My only problem at the time was that I asked them to clean the oven and they did not do so. My husband spoke to them when they left and thanked them for their services, since both maids were spanish-speaking and I am not. I have been trying to schedule another appointment with them, but have not been able to contact them. I've called and left messages for over a week now, with no response. When I mentioned to my husband that I was calling Clean Corp to schedule another cleaning and he asked that I not do so. He explained that until he spoke to the maids when they were leaving, they had assumed neither of us understood Spanish. Apparently they had been insulting us for our house needing to be cleaned (which is absurd since that is why we called them), disapproved of how we care for our cat, and discussed the places in the house they felt we may have had sex. My husband hadn't told me because he didn't want to upset me, but felt he had to when I mentioned using them again. Needless to say, we will not be using this company ever again. I don't have my house professionally cleaned anymore so I was very excited but now an hour later from the scheduled appt, no clean corp crew! I had the same negative experience. They took 5 months to get me on the calendar, then called to cancel due to an "employee injury". Rescheduled for a new date and they never showed!!! I have called numerous other times and always get a recording. This is absolutely horrible for a business to run like this. Clean Corp cancelled my 1st appointment at the last minute...they also no-showed for an appointment at my daughter's. This is the WORST experience I have ever had with a cleaning company. I was scheduled for 3pm, she arrived at 3:15. She had to be told to use bleach, to move things, to use hard cleaner on the counter, to do the dishes (and when questioned, she said she doesn't do dishes), and didn't move the couch to do the floor. Overall she was nice but not efficient at all. Not to mention the pitiful customer service people at the "main office". I was told my service could range from $75-$115 depending on the condition of the home. I was also told that BEFORE they charge me, they would call me to discuss. I even called them AFTER the chick left and got no response. They charged me without talking to me $90. First of all, my home was not in bad condition by far !!!!! She didn't have to pick up any trash or move any clothes or junk around. Second she was at my home 3:15-5:15 that is 2 hours - I was advised I was charged for 3 hours !!!! What the HELL!!!!! Then I was told a supervisor would call me back but the same pointless chick kept calling me back to justify these charges. Fine !!! Keep the little $20 plus the $10 tip I gave the cleaner. Not pleased at all. I bought the Eversave coupon for a 2-hour basic house cleaning of 1500 sq. ft. and even thought I received a confirmation call the day before my appt., I was no-showed. And this was after waiting several weeks just to be scheduled. I called and they immediately rescheduled me for the next day (the only positive). To my surprise, they only sent 1 person to do the 2-hour cleaning - there is no way that 1 person can do a basic house cleaning of 1500 sq. ft. in 2 hours. In addition, she told me she was only scheduled for 1 hour. No, I told her I paid for 2 hours and had to call the company again to straighten out this misunderstanding. Although now I have to call another service to come out and finish what was left undone. I basically paid to have 2 bathrooms cleaned - no linens changed, no vacuuming, not one foot set in the kitchen, no dusting whatsoever. What was the point? I will commend the one person on the completed job in the bathrooms - very thorough. I have to wonder, though, if I was given minimal service because I used a coupon. I feel misled - I don't feel like I have the right to call and complain because I knew it was a 2-hour service when I bought it - but had I known it would be only 1 person for 2 hours, I would have obviously known that I wouldn't get a full house cleaning and I wouldn't have purchased it.
