I hate leaving negative reviews, but the final product for our mini golden doodle was abysmal. Photos of our dog before groom, what we asked for vs. what we got. I asked if they knew how to groom goldendoodles and was told "yes". The result was not indicative of that. Unfortunately, I will not be going back. I'm giving two stars because the owner is nice and they are great prices but for us it was a you get what you pay for situation. I do want to note that they asked how they could fix it, but there seemed to not be an understanding of how to get our pup to the look we were somewhat looking for because I understand all costs are different and the picture wasn't entirely possible. We have serious issues with dog hair at home. Hair goes everywhere and gets in everything. I haven't had a clean black shirt in 12 years. Not to mention, I've been traumatized trying to cut my dog's nails and accidentally cutting them too short I decided to finally hand all of it off to a professional groomer. It was the first time I hired a mobile groomer and honestly, it was great. Communicated all through text and set it up super easy. Moe was reliable and showed up within the promised timeframe. I made sure he had a parking spot for his grooming van and the dogs hopped right in. They got trimmed up with a clean cut and I swear our dogs looked like they lost weight. They smelled great. We just rescued a lovely golden retriever - Marshmallow - she needed a grooming badly, so I called Clean Cut they gave me the best price that included deshedding and nail trimming in that package. If you're a fellow dog owner, you know how difficult nail trimming can be for a dog. Especially for Marsh, as she's very nervous around any nail trimmer. We were excited to have a professional be able to do this for us, and that ended up spectacularly. No more click-clacking around the house! Haha. I got my dog groomed less than an hour and two people worked to get to the bottom of her undercoat hair. My dog lost a few pounds after grooming, now she looks very natural and clean with her undercoat. We love how soft she is and how pretty she looks. Even though they were clearly busy, they made some for Jazzy as I explained her coat was in desperate need of attention. They were even flexible with the pickup schedule as I was working that day, which I really appreciated. It only cost me $50 to get her trimmed and groomed. After two months of isolation and me attempting to trim her hair. This experience was like a breathe of fresh air. Clean cut grooming is very clean and sanitized store with great quality of service. Moe has been grooming my dogs for years. They are always happy and have never shown aggression to anyone. Ever. 10 minutes after taking the first dog in his van, he texted me & said he was blowdrying her face and she bit him. I raced to the van to see his "bite" and it looked like he picked old scabs. He went to urgent care and the emergency room with his fake bites and THEN he came to my house and threatened me that if I don't give him $5,000-$10,000 he will come after me. My new favorite groomer! I cannot compliment Clean Cut Grooming enough. My dog Jax is large and extremely shy. It has been a struggle finding the right groomer to accommodate his needs since he's very hesitant with strangers. It's usually easier for me to wash him myself but I can't do all the extras that a groomer can. After reading all the positive reviews for Clean Cut I decided to schedule an appointment and it was the best decision. They were very kind and attentive with Jax, and I am extremely grateful. This is a top notch grooming service! I took my dog in for the second time this year, and both times they took really good care of her. It's a father and son owned shop, and Mel and Moe made us feel very welcomed. They were very friendly and gentle with my dog who can get scared easily. They took their time to make her feel comfortable before taking her in for the appointment, which I really appreciated. The whole process was very easy. I dropped her off and they called me two hours later to come and pick her up. She looked and smelled great! So much easier than giving her a bath myself, and I am happy knowing she is in good hands. It was definitely a better experience than I've had with larger grooming chains. She will be back next month for another bubble bath! Would give more stars if I could - seriously the best service I've had for my dogs! I live in Newport Beach and have made the drive to go see Clean Cut to make sure my doggos are getting the best care possible. I have one small and one medium size mixed mutt, so it's really important to me to find a groomer that understands their needs and breed. Clean cut went above and beyond to make sure we all felt comfortable and have actually gotten compliments on how good they smell for a while after! Usually Rocco + Bagel hate being groomed but they were actually so excited to go a second time - which is actually shocking for Rocco at least. They were so professional and finished grooming them in a timely manner and Moe did a great job on my two dogs - on their haircuts and nail clipping. I had an experience once where Bagel was literally in a cage for four extra hours because the groomer didn't manage time well. Not the case here at ALL. They do all that they can to make sure their customers are happy and it shows. I usually don't write reviews, but clean cut deserves the recognition.
