I purchased a Groupon for carpet cleaning. When I called to setup the job Valerie, said they could come out the next day and I was very pleased with there quick response time. The technician Carter, came and showed up right on time. He was very professional and a very nice young man. The rooms he cleaned had some high traffic areas. It looked pretty good when it was wet, but when it dried out it had a few dirty spots that I felt maybe they might be able to get out. Now I know you can not please everyone, but I'm pretty picky. I called and spoke with Valerie, who was very polite and caring and I mentioned my concerns. Valerie, immediately said well lets just come back and try it again. This review is for customer service ... on a Saturday afternoon I was in dire need of a weekend appointment. I was calling every service that had at least a 4 star review and particularly looking for businesses that appeared to be focused on environmentally-friendly cleaning. When I called Clean Green I was unable to get through on the phone so moved on to another cleaner; they were able to get me in on Sunday. But as I hung up from the other company, I was surprised to see I had a text that said "I'm on the line with another customer, I will call you right back." Sure enough, a few minutes later I got a call from a very nice woman at Clean Green. When I told her I'd already made an appointment with someone else - she responded that she hoped it went well but they'd love to help in the future if they can. Do not use them if your house is new or you have white baseboards. Save yourself the time and money! Truly wish we would have chosen another company that has time to do a quality job, or at least time to make bad circumstances right. Take a look below at how the owner replies to customers with issues, the lack of care or professionalism is evident. The issue: Technician was 3 hours late to our scheduled 10 AM cleaning (it appears they are overbooked.) They cleaned our house, two bedrooms and three flights of stairs in less than an hour, and in the rush, their hoses completely destroyed every corner baseboard of our new house! Did not hear back for 24 hours. Finally, the manager said he would stop by the next day to see the damages, but did not show up. Instead, he said he would send the owner to fix the walls... I asked for the owner's phone number to explain my frustration. Spoke to the owner, Travis, and instead of hearing me out, he said he would repair the walls but under no circumstances would he reimburse any of the charges. I requested a discount because I spent multiple hours total on the phone trying to get resolve on this and now we have damaged walls right before the holidays. After a few minutes the owner started raising his voice and said "I will repair your walls but you are crossing the line asking for any compensation" I am in disbelief about how unprofessional the interaction was. After we put our credit card transaction in, he informed us we were entitled to a military discount, however it was "too late to fix it". He charged us $100 extra to clean two 5x7 area rugs! Puddles of water were left on wood floors and 0 corner bumpers put down to protect bannisters & walls. Felt like he wasn't into his job. We used Clean Green last year to get our carpets cleaned and we didn't have the best experience. I reached out to them for feedback and Jeff, the owner, let me know he would like to make it up to us. We called them out this year for a second chance and they not only met but exceeded our expectations. Chris, our tech was amazing and he did an outstanding job. The carpets, rug and couch look phenomenal and are super clean. He was polite, courteous and professional but also personable. He made sure he walked us through everything he was doing, how long it was going to take and set realistic expectations for how long it would be for everything to dry and be back to normal. Clean Green came and cleaned the carpets yesterday. The gentleman said he would be done with the three rooms and stairs in 45-60 min. He was done and packed in 30!! He said there was some dark spots but it was just the previous owners dog's hair. I went over today and gave the rooms a good vacuuming. The carpets look clean but along the edge is dirty!! I got down on my hands and knees to inspect, no hair just dirty and not shampooed. I've seen much better jobs. read more

I hope they did a good job. At least a better job of cleaning then they did of charging my debit card. I paid with my card in Friday April 28th when my carpets were cleaned, they double charged my card. I called and told them that they double charged me. They assured me that the credit would be back in my account with in 2 days. Well lots of phone calls later and text messages it has now been over a week and still no credit. I don't think I would recommend paying twice to any company no matter how good they are I did finally get my refund but it took a week and a half. I usually go with zero rez but came across this company because they had a great deal going. 5 rooms for $99. When I made the apt I was told since I only had 4 smaller rooms they would do my stairs as the 5th room as long as they were not over 200sq ft. When the team h got here he said he could not do that and that it would not be honored. No one at the office woudl honor it either. I was really happy with their services when they came out . However , I am really annoyed with their spamming - after two years of telling them to stop calling me they still do like a call center . I used a groupon for 3 rooms and a "extra service", which I was told was a love seat. I asked if I could have two fabric recliners cleaned instead and was told yes. The day came for the service to be done and no one showed up. When I called to find out where they were I found out they had written both my phone number and address down wrong (Frustrating!) and the wouldn't be able to come that day. They came the next day and told me they wouldn't clean both my recliners, only one. They wanted me to pay more for pet spot cleaning and after all was said and done they wanted me to pay an additional $145 dollars for things I thought would be included in regular cleaning. (which I declined) I did pay extra to have the recliner cleaned, but neither of them look any better than before. All in all a VERY disappointing experience. I was talking about the uncomfortable comments made after that. He didn't stand around my living room talking badly about a prior customer during that time, he did that when he first showed up. While I do appreciate the fact that he was kind about me having to call my husband I don't think that making comments about my husband possibly being gay was very respectful at all. There's a major difference between being polite and having lightheartedness and just being downright disrespectful. This was my first time using this company. I can honestly tell you this was the most unprofessional experience I've ever had with a company. The young gentleman that came to do the cleaning was definitely an over sharer and was talking to me about things that were completely out of context. He threw in some very weird comments that just made me uncomfortable such as saying that he was going to shout "I love you too" to my husband while I was on the phone. And then I'd find out he's secretly gay..? Completely out of line and disrespectful. He had said multiple times that he was in a hurry to get to the bank before they closed. Yet he spent a solid half an hour in my living room talking to me about a previous client whose carpets were really dirty. He finished in I would say about 45 minutes. Which was great. When the booking person (Sherry) tells you one thing ("we'll definitely honor the Groupon" -- after I gave full disclosure that it was expired and Clean Green's call center told me it would be honored) and the technician goes a totally different route (I felt like a had a fast-talking used car salesman/shyster in my house). I don't need the BS -- there are too many other good cleaning options for my carpet!! I'll bet their standard charge isn't $10/stair -- as your tech stated Clean Green's charge is!! You text me with your automated "request a tip" (to make matters worse)! Here's my tip: "Let your word be your bond. Doesn't take anything special to "bate n switch! Stop calling me! I had my carpets cleaned by these guys YEARS ago and even though I have told them I moved out of state they keep calling. I have talked to the office a few times to ask them to remove me from their marketing calls (and they have started texting me now) and i guess there is nothing I can do to get off. I was give a time frame of between noon an two pm. Mario and Ruben were here around 12:20. They introduced themselves and Hoyt right to work. With our granddaughters around and a new dog, our carpets look brand new. They pretreated the carpet, wiped up any overspray and got to work. They are a great team and made sure they got all the spots out. One little spot didn't come completely out and they were sure to show it to me. I couldn't even see it. Earlier post: Scheduled an appointment online for 10am so I could be home and my little boy could still nap by 2pm.I was called and told that they didn't have anyone available at that time and asked if I'd switch to 12pm. At 12:07pm the tech calls to say he would be 1.5 hours late. Still annoyed at this point, but figured he could be done by like 2:30 and it wouldn't be a big deal. So after I waited two hours I called again and the tech said he'd be another 30 mins. Livid at this point from wasting my whole day and my little boy not getting a nap, I called the main office again. The lady I spoke to was very sweet and didn't hide how frustrated she was with the situation as well. She explained that they didn't have enough appointments in my area to justify a truck so they consolidated to use less trucks, which in turn meant my 10am appointment became 3pm. They offered fabric protection which I don't think was communicated to the tech and at this point I wanted him to be done. It honestly ruined my entire day when I had to sit around for HOURS waiting. I used this company probably a year ago and it was a much better experience. Not sure that I'd recommend or use them again. read more

I received a reminder call the day before and then the technician also called about 30 minutes before he arrived. Highly inconsistent service, technicians and pricing. I have used this service at least six times. A different technician came each time, even when I requested the one from the last time - apparently they can not keep staff, nor train them adequately. Sometimes they would do the stairs as one of the quoted 3 rooms, sometimes not. Sometimes they put in a reasonable amount of time and got the carpets fairly clean, sometimes not. Sometimes they got the spray pre-treatment all over our walls and cabinetry, leaving a gray residue which I would have to later clean up, and sometimes not. The last time they were here they didn't leave a receipt. I called them 3 times afterward for a copy of the receipt and they acted like that was some kind of huge challenge, but said they would try. They never provided a receipt. All of the services they provided were through Groupon purchases, which was the reason I kept using them - the price was right, and sometimes I actually got my carpets cleaned without a problem or hassle. I never would have used them at their regular rate because of the problems and hassles. When I called today to set a new appointment with a Groupon, I was told they were unwilling to future service at my address. They would not say why, but apparently, when they have a client who actually expects them do what they say they will do, at the price they say they will do it and with reasonable business practices, that client is expecting more than they can handle. Or maybe they held a grudge because a year ago I made them stop spamming me with unsolicited phone calls for unsolicited service. If you are smart, you will stay away, or you will end up with what I got - frequently crappy service and loads of spam calls until you complain loudly. Note: I had unused Groupons for Clean Green and when I called Groupon for a refund, they provided one, but removed my ability to write a review of this company. apparently in an effort to keep their customers from knowing what Clean Green is really like. Shameful. Note 2 (in response to the Owner's response, below): Sad? Comical? You decide... This business is so inept and disorganized that apparently the owner thinks that one of his employees contacted me some time ago to notify me of their intent not to honor my current or future Groupons. Except, guess what? That never happened. And guess what else? In the entire time I used Clean Green, I made two complaints (and neither was about their cleaning, although the quality of work often warranted a complaint): One was about not receiving a receipt, and one was about asking that a certain rude and seemingly unstable technician not be assigned to my jobs in the future. After being a loyal customer for 10 years, I can honestly say I've never had a worse carpet cleaning experience in my life, and if it were possible to give zero stars, that would be my rating. My office carpet is ruined with the smell from having wet carpet for nearly a week (not just damp -- wet) and the stains that apparently have come from the subfloor, is all I can figure. The technician came to our house twice, once for the initial cleaning, and then again to try to "fix" the carpet (but it's much worse now). I called the company to complain about the soaking wet carpet, the musty smell from wet carpet, the technician promising to come to our house at 4:30 and not arriving until nearly 8:00 PM on a Friday night while all the time lying that he was "on his way." The company assured me they would do something about it and wanted to "make it right." They asked me to send an e-mail to them outlining in detail the entire stupid nightmare. They promised me they'd call right back. Well, that was last week and here we still are. Haven't heard a thing from them. No call, no e-mail, no nothing. I am now forced to replace the flooring in my office with no recompense and will most definitely be looking for a new carpet cleaning service. Update: I received a call from the owner, Travis, today, who couldn't be nicer and more apologetic. He is personally going to come to my house on Monday to remediate the too-much-water issue in the entire house. I'm still getting new carpet in the room that was ruined (already ordered), but I feel so much better knowing my concerns were listened to and matters are being dealt with fairly and quickly. I'm so happy to be moving into a condo with clean floors now. I booked the service from out of state and needed it done fast and they came through for me on that also.
