Wow, they really blew us away with their smoothies. We went a yr. ago, had the Oh So Basic or another really similar smoothie & it was good, but not as tasty as the two "Oh So Basic" I ordered last weekend...not sure what changed in the recipe and it was a nice surprise because we both enjoyed it a lot more! Hyde Park is so quaint w/not one but two parking garages if you can't find limited parallel parking. The small store offers fresh juices, smoothies, acai bowls, salads, sandwiches, etc. The Oh So Basic included bananas - just the right amount and not overpowering; I liked the subtle flavor because too much banana is a No for me. The almond butter gave it a smooth consistency and strawberries made it a pretty blush/pink color. I gave my number to the young lady to check to see if I had any rewards & did! I was able to redeem both of my smoothies for free, which completely made my day! =) They had a BOGO special or else it would've been $18-$20 for both smoothies. I'm surprised that no one has reviewed this newest Clean Juice location in Hyde Park Village. I've been waiting for it to open since it's nearest to me, but still far from my neighborhood. I've read so many good things and I'm glad I got to try it. The newest location is clean, bright, and has a constant stream of customers. Mostly residents nearby out for a jog. It's in the perfect location on the corner of Snow Ave leading into Rome Ave and across from Forbici. It's where Nature's Table used to be a long time ago. I wasn't exactly sure what I wanted but it was going to be a juice or a smoothie. I new I wanted something with avocado, and there were a couple of different options. I ended up getting the Healthy Heart One which had a bunch of organic everything in it. The description off the smoothie from the website is the following: Himalayan Pink Sea Salt, Organic Almond Butter, Organic Almond Milk, Organic Avocado, Organic Cinnamon, and Organic Maple Syrup. If you don't feel good drinking it after reading all of these wonderful ingredients then I don't know what to tell you. It was a great breakfast for me. Especially since I was about to put all kinds of bad sugary things into my body at lunch. It was good to know that I had something that was good. It also tasted great and definitely less sugar. There must have only been a drop of maple syrup in it because I couldn't taste it. I tasted almond, cinnamon, and avocado. All of the good stuff and that's great. I will go back the next time I'm in Hyde Park Village. They have acai bowls, greenoa bowls (greens & quinoa), wraps, and avocado toast. I particularly want the avocado toast as they have many flavor options. They were open early. It looks like they are open at 7am unlike the shops around them which open at 10am . There is parking on Snow Ave so it's easy to pop in and out. There are parking garages and parking is free as always. Did I mention they are a USDA Certified Organic Juice Bar? Grossly overpriced for juices and smoothies especially when they include up-charges for no ice and sizes. Came in for a smoothie and the attendant did not even bother to mention any of the up-charges until after paying. It was not until I talked to the manager that I learned this, who seemed disinterested in clarifying the up-charges in the first place. Why don't you learn to tell your customers everything they're paying for, it goes a long way. This seems like an alleged price gouging tactic all in the name of usda organic, as I did not see any of the up-charges listed in the menu. Ugh I really wanted to love this place. Just moved next door and try to have a juice/smoothie every day. They cannot get it right. Staff training would go a loooong way as it's super disorganized and everything is made out of order and incorrectly. Third time now (of four total visits) my order was wrong - last time they forgot to put chicken in panini! Longevity smoothie has tasted totally different each time. Today they left my cup sitting on the counter and made every other order after me...finally had to ask please make mine next after 15 mins (6-7 people after me had already left). I'll try back in a few months and hope they do some staff training. read more

Came in to get an orange drink with a hot shot. This requires zero effort on their part. They had zero hot shots out, all still in boxes and they had just gotten it in. I asked if I could wait for unpacking and she says "sure" but it'll be awhile because they have orders ahead. The first box the girl opens (girl with her nasal septum pieced) has the hot shot so I reach to grab one out of the fridge and she said I couldn't take one until she was done unpacking. At this point, I was pretty exasperated because I just wanted to get my stuff and LEAVE! I asked to please just let me get my stuff and go and to stop dragging this out! She calls for her manager, Cierra, who then checks me out just like she should have been able to! This place is ran by kids with no respect for peoples time and ZERO sense of urgency. Every time you go, there is a long wait regardless of how many people are in there. The drinks are great, which is the very unfortunate part. I would come here every day if it was fast and efficient. Then, our açaí bowls came with dirty bananas, my Nutty Bowl had no strawberries, and both bowls had zero flavor.
