Just Salad, oh how I've missed you. Welcome to Tampa! Can't wait to see more of you. :) During my time living in NYC for several years, Just Salad became a staple in my quick-pick up rotation. They have a wonderful array of salads, soups, market plates to enjoy - all super fresh and healthy. Even with the emergence of spots like Sweetgreens, Cava and of course, long time fave Fresh Kitchen, Tampa has needed a place like Just Salad to bring home one of the best salad joints - they beat out the competition with their wide variety of toppings to choose from and I just find their food the freshest of the fresh. To celebrate my first visit, I bought a new Just Salad bowl (one free topping every time you bring it in!) and have been back several times to reacquaint myself with my old salad friend. This spot in South Tampa is busy at lunch, but pretty quiet at dinner time. Looking forward to many return visits for a healthy, quick meal! Had a great lunch here! Service was super fast and friendly, the place was very clean and quiet, you order at the counter and they have so many options! Lots of vegan and veg options which I love! The manager Gabby & the rest of the staff (didn't catch their names) were so lovely and patient with me when I was deciding what to order. I ended up going with the PICK 2: honey crispy chicken wrap add avocado & pb protein smoothie (31g of protein but you can also add protein to any of the smoothies) as well as the crispy chicken poblano salad ($2 extra to get in a reusable bowl AND you get a free topping each time after! I did the chickpeas w/ cucumber this time). The location itself was massive, super clean and tidy, plenty of seating, parking, and endless food options. Yum!! I'm so glad to have found a place nearby that's fast, fresh, healthy!! I stopped by here when I was on my way for a shopping trip to get some dinner. Inside, the store was clean and there were plenty of comfortable booths to sit. The worker there was pleasant and nice upon welcoming when I arrived, he told me a little about the food and how I can customize my wraps. I chose the honey crispy chicken with no quinoa (because I hate quinoa) and it was nice to get my food customized this way. He did offer to substitute the quinoa with something else, but I wasn't interested to that. I can get my wrap with light, medium, or heavy dressing. I went with light. Anyway, the wrap itself was quite delicious with the many different flavors and textures from the vegetables and protein. Wraps used to be my go-to meal, and though I haven't seen so many wrap places as of late, it's nice to know I can come to Just Salad as another healthy option. read more

I came here for dinner with a friend. It was our first time here and we really enjoyed it. Everything is extremely fresh. They have all different types of lettuce and protein, rice and toppings and a bunch of different dressings which are made in house. I originally found Just Salad at a Tampa Girls event, and then again on Doordash. Finally was in South Tampa and decided to visit the storefront! All the ingredients are so fresh, and each order is prepared right in front of you. I think it's a great price for the quality and quantity of food you get. We absolutely love Just Salad and used to go all the time when we lived in South Florida, so we were so excited when the Tampa location opened. We ordered through Uber Eats and my meal was perfect. The warm balsamic chicken with sweet potatoes was exactly what I was craving and tasted great. Unfortunately, my husband's order was completely wrong. He received tofu instead of chicken, and his wrap was made as a salad instead. For a to-go order, that was really disappointing. While the food quality is usually solid, they definitely need to be more careful and double-check takeout orders. Hoping this was just a one-off experience. read more

It took me an hour to drive here from where I live so my only complaint is to have another location in Wesley Chapel. This was my first time here and I got the protein power salad which is seasonal. IT WAS SO GOOD!!! It was so much salad so you are FULL, good protein, great fiber, low calorie GREAT FLAVOR! I got a poppi for a drink but they have yummy fountain drinks like flavored lemonades and such. I got a poppi so I knew the sugar I was getting. Cut little spot we ate in. Salads come with a little slice of focaccia and that too was yummy, drinks come with a bamboo straw. It was just a thoughtful space with great food. They have warm food like bowls and soups and my friend got a wrap and loved it. They have a ton of sauces and they are just really tasty. When I'm on that side of town again I'm coming back. Afterwards we got a baby scoop at Cold Stone Creamery next door and there's also a Gigi's Cupcakes in the plaza so you can have a dessert right after. One thing we noticed is a young male server who was blowing into bags for to-go orders and tell him don't so that, it's nasty. No one wants your saliva on their food brah!!! The food is just average. The chicken is dry. I asked a question about the reconstituted chickpeas on the salad I was ordering I got a very short answer. It's just chickpeas. I found the people behind the counter to be a bit condescending. I know the South Tampa crowd can be difficult, but that is not me. Also did not know cash was not accepted. I've been here twice and what grossed me out the second time was that the balsamic dressing was this thick glob of ick. I had it on the side and it made the salad taste heavy and intense. It felt like I was eating ultrasound cream. It had the same kind of texture in your mouth... (I haven't ever digested ultrasound cream just so we're clear). I wasn't impressed. I uber ate it and it wasn't tasting right. The texture of the dressing threw me off completely. If you like thick dressing on your salad, this place is for you. The service was lovely, but the food was pretty mid. My avocado mash was browning, there were pieces of rice that were so hard they hurt my teeth, and the overall meal was just bland. The sides were soggy and overcooked as well. I definitely wouldn't recommend this to anyone, so many other great options in the area. Bummed because I was really excited. Just Salad should be renamed Just Lettuce. Second worst meal I've had in a long time - worst meal was at Just Salad last week but huge mistake deciding to give it another try. Have an issue and want to call the restaurant because they messed up the delivery order? Good luck because you'll have to hunt for the number which goes to corporate and they contact the restaurant on your behalf. Just check the website and hit "contact" and you'll see what I mean. Google also has no direct to restaurant number. Want extra protein and order double-chicken with the up charge? Well, good luck with that because there is hardly anything in the bowl and I'd get carpal tunnel describing the quality of their chicken. Lastly, the staff can't seem to make orders correctly or check to see if the takeout or delivery is right before handing it over. There are plenty of other options here in Tampa, so we will not be returning to waste our time or money on another disappointing experience. read more

Ordered on Uber Eats. Have ordered many times before and the food is delicious. Tonight, my uber driver messaged me and told me they said my order was already picked up. This order was never picked up (officially...maybe by accident?) and was never delivered or completed on the app. They refused to remake my food, when the driver requested. I tried to call, but when you call, you get a voice recording telling you to email them. Stingy and zero help. Luckily, I was able to get the order cancelled after several steps/waiting for assistance on the Uber Eats app. Sad to never enjoy this restaurant again. It is actually good food, which I will not deny. But I'm annoyed. read more

I just went there for the first time. I ordered one of their Market Plates. I asked for a glass of water. They said it was against their managers policy to give glasses of water. "You must buy our bottled waters." I informed them of the law requiring them to provide some water with a meal. I asked to speak to a manager, non was available at prime lunch time. I was informed they didn't care. It was their policy to only sell beverages. "Buy their water or call the police" I will never go back. No wonder the place was empty at lunch time read more
