So many options that anyone should be able to find something they like. Whoever gave my third grader a free smoothie coupon knew what they were doing. I'm guessing they handed them out at school so he was super excited to try this place. I am so glad I sat down with him and reviewed the drinks online before we went in, because if we decided to wing it and just look at the menu when we were there we would have been there for probably half an hour longer. They have that many options. It is not a big place so you don't want to be that person loitering and staring at the menu forever. He ended up going with the phunky punch. Spoiler alert he loved it. I actually wasn't sure if he was going to like it because he's a pretty picky eater, so it really surprised me. I tried it and I liked it as well (wouldn't be my first choice, but I was prepared to drink it if he didn't). My younger son wanted orange juice. I'm pretty sure this is freshly squeezed so he did not like it because it was more tart than he is used to. I ended up drinking it and I love freshly squeezed juice so I thought it was delicious. They both saw there were little bags of veggie straws at the checkout so both wanted one. I have to say this is definitely not a cheap place. For my orange juice and two bags of veggie straws it cost us $14. I'm assuming the up charge on the veggie straws is pretty high, but since I didn't get a receipt, I actually have no idea what everything individually cost. And don't forget it was $14 without us having to pay for my older son smoothie. I think the quality is there to demand these high prices so this won't make me lower my rating of the place. This is definitely not a place that you are hanging out after getting your smoothie, you are grabbing and going. They have a enter door and exit door to streamline the process, at 5:30 PM on a Tuesday it was pretty empty. When we walked in, there was no line, a couple people came in after us. There is tons of parking and it's easy to enter and exit this parking lot. If you're looking for a place to grab a smoothie, I would highly recommend checking this place out. read more

They have a perk where u can get free protein added to your drink after 6 pm. The selections they display can be very overwhelming! I ended up getting the Gingerbread Junkie! I was really disappointed with my recent visit to this smoothie place. For the price they charge for an XTREME size, you'd expect to get a full cup but that wasn't the case. My TRIPPY HIPPIE + Whey was at least an 3 inches from the rim! as I notice other people cups getting poured, they leave a lot left in the blender enough to fill a kids cup. It felt like I was paying for air. The flavor was AMAZING, but it's hard to enjoy it when you feel shortchanged. It wasn't too sweet which is good because other smoothie places use too much purée. It's nice because you can tell the Ingredients that they use are fresh. There is only a total of four ingredients in it, which is not bad, but it is a very spicy drink. They don't serve the juices with ice, which can be a good thing or a bad thing if you're wanting something very cold. Next time I go, I will have to try a different flavor so I can provide additional reviews. There is nowhere to sit down inside this is only an order grab and go establishment.it's very small so if you go during rush-hour, there may be a little bit of a wait. Do yourself a favor-pull over, park by the van and follow the pineapples inside for some happy. There are a lot (like a lot, a lot) of options. I had to study the menu before I went in. (Thanks, Yelpers, for the heads up!) They sell smoothies, fresh fruit and veggie juices (made on premises) and smoothie pops. I went with the Liquid Gold smoothie with added chia seeds and ordered a ginger shot on the side. The latter came with a green apple, that calmed the zing. Wow! That shot was a jolt of joy. Color me revived! The smoothie was silky smooth-great consistency snd texture. With kale, spinach, wheatgrass, lemon juice, green apple, cucumber and pineapple-it was not too sweet and not at all bitter. I got the medium and it was quite filling. I'd definitely get it again. I was there about 7am on a Thursday and it wasn't busy, which was great for me-since I was flustered and floundering while ordering. I wanted to hide my newbie status, sound like a regular and look savvy. (I don't think I pulled it off) The staff was efficient and knowledgable. There's parking out front, in back and along the side ... and if you need to make a left on Dale Mabry on the way out, it's easy to get to a light. (Yay!) On Sundays they have BOGO where you can redeem a free smoothie at another visit (within a certain time period) and $6.50 large smoothies on Friday. I had the Strawberry Banana Incident, which was just okay, it tasted too much like apple juice in my opinion. I also tried the protein banana blend, which I didn't like very much because it only had one flavor profile and didn't really taste like anything. I got the mango mayhem and I was informed that you can add a free booster such as fiber, multivitamin, energy, etc. But the more complex the booster it only cost $1.50 to $2.75 max. My boyfriend got the protein banana blend and they allow you to sub some of the powders and the Ingredients. The smoothies was really good and they are very transparent in what's in it. The protein banana didn't have that chalky protein taste and it did not have any artificial fruit flavors, same with the Mango mayhem.I say Smoothie King and Tropical Smoothie has some real competition. We drove, parked and waited until our smoothies were ready. The timing from placing our order to pickup of our smoothies was accurate. My hubs ordered Holy Cacao, a Top Shelf smoothie that includes cacao and yogurt. The dark chocolate in his made it so it wasn't nearly as sweet as my Tropical Smoothie, Colada Crush.
