I started using Clean N Green when the pandemic hit. I wanted to avoid high contact areas like my local laundromat and many other services in the neighborhood closed up shop. It was a great decision. The service was always prompt and professional and I never had any issues with the laundry itself. Everything was always clean/well folded, no wayward bleach marks! I've been using Clean N Green for several months, and have been holding off on writing a review so that I can really get a feel for the service. I haven't had any issues with the detergent, my clothes have always come back perfect, the turnaround is very fast, and the service is incredible. Joseph and his team really are pros. The dry cleaning is also amazing - I recently spilled a bunch of soy sauce on my wool coat and when I got it back it looked newer than when I bought it (got it at a thrift store ~5 years ago). I recently just moved to Park Slope and was looking for a fast, efficient, and trustworthy pick up and delivery laundry service as I do have a very busy schedule and laundry is just one of those things that have always taken so much time out of my day. Well, I am so so glad I was able to find Clean N' Green Laundry Service. Joseph, the owner, was absolutely amazing. He was very professional and was super willing to pick my laundry up on the same day I inquired about their service. This was my first time ever having my laundry picked up, so I was very anxious as to how it would all come out, but Joseph reassured me that every instruction for my clothing would be followed and he did not disappoint. My laundry was delivered to me the next day in perfect condition. Everything was properly washed, folded, and sealed. Joseph also delivered my laundry in the time frame that I requested the next day. Our communication was amazing as he was very transparent about everything and was sure to update me on how my laundry was doing and the timeframe it would be finished. Dropped my laundry off here twice and both times were not pleasant. My first visit, my bag was returned sloppy. None of my socks were matched together because matching socks apparently gave the staff member "anxiety"... The second time - Staff member was too busy with their partner like a pair of high school sweethearts. Felt so awkward. Not returning back. There are two other places in the area that give much better service. Wouldnt recommend coming here. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE IT IS A SCAM. I love the REAL Clean N Green laundromat on 5th Ave and have dropped off and picked up from them. At some point the person who picked up changed and I just found out that it is because HE MADE A SECOND GOOGLE PAGE THAT COMES UP IN THE SEARCH AND IS NOT ACTUALLY OPERATING AT THE CLEAN N GREEN LAUNDROMAT LOCATION. He is scamming the owners and stealing their business. I don't know where he is doing the laundry but it is NOT AT the Clean N Green laundromat which is located on 5th Ave. I don't know of he's actually using hypoallergenic detergents or not but THIS MAN IS LYING ABOUT WHERE HE IS TAKING YOUR CLOTHES. Make sure you are getting the phone number for the actual location when you schedule pickups!!! read more

Very disappointed. My regular laundry service is closed due to Covid so I tried this service based on all the positive reviews. I had a lot of sheets, towels and bedding that had piled up. The clothing came back badly wrinkled and folded inconsistently and unprofessionally. I posted a photo of the blue towels and the white euro sham. I asked for a partial refund. Joseph offered to redo it but I did not trust the service after that. I would not recommend it. read more

We use a pick up/ drop off laundry service 1-2 times per month when we don't have time to do it ourselves. We just moved into the neighborhood and Joseph was SO responsive- picked up our kidney very quickly and turn around time was extremely quick. He is so friendly and professional. Also our clothes came back in great condition and everything was there. With other services I've had issues with grease stains etc. and there was absolutely nothing like this here. I have been using Abe at Clean N Green for my laundry pickup/wash & fold for at least 4 years. Abe, the owner, comes to my house (and as I understand it - all over the city) with his Clean N Green Laundry van and always gives a phone call heads up with either 5-30 minutes warning (I work from home so this is easy) and he's there with a smile and always a kind word or two. I get my laundry picked up usually once or maybe twice a week. Abe is almost always the one we deal with, except on rare occasions when he's out of town and we have to bring it in ourselves. He always picks up the laundry himself, probably to ensure excellent quality. I have never done my laundry at the laundromat myself but I do agree with some of the other reviewers that the people who work in the store itself do not put the company's best foot forward (this is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars). They could be seen as trashy, immature or incompetent at times (I've had one of the girls tell me that they don't have my card on file when they did in fact have my card on file). Overall the price is right, they use special fragrance-free detergent per my request that does not irritate my allergies and the machines are friendly to the environment, unlike most places. In my experience, the service is excellent and I've never lost an item of clothing to my knowledge. Clean N Green has become part of my neighborhood essential. Plus Abe is a real Mensch (kind, conscientious person). read more

I had high hopes for this laundromat, but instead it was very disappointing. The water levels in the washers are set so low it's IMPOSSIBLE to get the clothes washed and rinsed thoroughly in one wash cycle. I ended up paying to wash 4 entire loads TWICE, just to get the soap out. (I only used a very small amount of soap). Washing everything twice wastes my money AND my time. Stay away. read more

I started using Clean n Green when our laundromat closed during the pandemic. I feel so lucky to have found them through nextdoor. All you have to do is text Joseph and he comes and picks up your laundry sometimes within ten minutes or you can schedule for next day. When I have a concern about a certain shirt shrinking I just tell him and he makes sure to pay special attention. My clothes are always perfectly folded and returned so quickly!
