I regularly wash my clothes here - the machines are fine and do the job. I appreciate the free soap. I give one star because one of the employees regularly smokes cigarettes literally in the entrance to the laundromat. It's really disgusting. I purchased the Yelp deal, and they did not honor it. When I dropped off my clothes, the woman said she didn't know how to ring up the coupon. She stapled it to the order and said they would apply it when we picked it up. When my husband picked up the dry cleaning, they had lost the coupon and charged him the full amount. She didn't know how to void the transaction. Their dry cleaning prices are also pretty high, so I am quite annoyed that I paid even more money since they failed to honor the certificate. All in all, I paid $48 for two dresses, a coat, and a scarf. read more

I am leaving this review at 10:40 on a Wednesday night because this DUMP decided that although their hours on their answering machine, and on their door, and OH yea on yelp, states that they are opened until 11 they decided to just close early because yea I get it....DONT WE ALL WANT TO LEAVE WORK EARLY ALLTHE TIME. But these asshole forget that people have laundry drying and depend on picking it up. Got to the laundromat at 10:30 when I realized that it was closed. A girl standing nearby said that the girl working in the laundromat closed up just a minute earlier. We had a coupon for this place and decided to do drop-off laundry for the first time. We dropped it off at night. The guy working there was so nice, had no problem honoring the coupon, and our laundry was ready ahead of schedule the next day. We had some towels that had been sitting for weeks and smelling pretty bad... everything came back smelling clean (very little smell actually, thank god no perfume smell!) and feeling soft. I have had three negative experiences here, all involving the same employee: 1) She remarked on how much laundry my girlfriend does, groaning "she's in here like every other day!" Now, it's true, she does drop off laundry approximately twice a week. But this is the business that they're in -- they should be happy about their regular customers, not annoyed! 2) One day I went to pick up the laundry and the woman claimed that they didn't have our credit card on file. How can this woman be so intimately involved with our twice-a-week business and then seem so clueless? They've always had our credit card on file, that's how we pay twice a week! 3) After insisting that the credit card was on file and then giving up, I got excited because "oh good, now I'll just pay for it and take advantage of that Yelp deal I saw from you guys." And the woman goes "Oh no, oh no, I can't do that. You can't use that." and then claims that she knows nothing about it, someone else tried to use it and she doesn't know how to process the coupon, and that I can only use it while Abe (the owner) is there because he's the only one who knows how to process it. I suggested that she pass on the feedback that they should get rid of the Yelp deal if it's not possible to use it. She didn't seem like she was going to pass it on. All that was back in December. I have crazy work hours often so it is hard to find a place that I can work with. But, Joseph is really understanding of my situation and helps work around my schedule to make it happen! I rarely write negative reviews but in this particular cleaners case I felt the need to share my experience. The owner of the business specifically said I would be charged $1.45 per lb for wash and fold laundry service, no hidden fees. I gave 18 lbs of laundry and the total should have been $26.10. He charged me $95 and change. When I reached out to see if there was an error, he told me that he was in a root canal procedure and would look into it and call me back. I never received a call back and when I reached out again, he made another excuse to avoid looking into the extra charges. Please beware of the lack of respect this cleaners has for its customers and clients. It's a real shame because my clothes were washed very well and felt wonderful. read more

I don't often write yelp reviews but they really deserve one. I, as most New Yorkers, put off getting my laundry done until I have absolutely no clothes left and have an important event to go to. My usual laundromat bailed on me last minute and left me in a lurch with no clothes (they were all bagged up) and I had no idea where to trust. I took a chance and texted Joseph, told him my situation and he was at my apartment in ten mins to pick up my clothes. Not only that but it was back In five hours which is basically unheard of. AND I just put a T-shirt on and it was still warm. I think they were very affordable as well. Joseph was nice, conscientious, and responsible. I'll be a customer in the future. read more

Really wonderful service. We started using Clean N Green after things kept going missing or smelled weird at other laundromats. We had door to door pickup and delivery, text updates, our clothes were always in great condition and smelled good but not of smelly detergents. When we used other drop off services in the past we always brought our own detergents because we wanted something more natural, but here we never had to worry about that here because their detergents were great and right in line with what we would use on our own. Also same or next day service and often same day turn around was awesome, especially since we were fairly far away form the business. It was a bit pricey, but if you can swing it it's more than worth it for door to door personalized service and laundry that always comes back in great shape. read more

Some of the workers are in need of some training on how to use the coupons. Clean, Open, Free WiFi (haven't tried this), and free Detergent. (Though I still bring my own because I think it works better) Used to get my laundry done across the street, this place is a palace compared to that shit hole. Also, the laundry cards are a huge plus- no more quarters. But make sure you pay attention when using the dryer - you do it in 8 minute increments. Noticing that many of the complaints against this place are regarding the drop-off laundry service, which I haven't used. read more

These guys are the best! Fast and friendly service, everything so perfectly folded and wrapped in plastic bags inside the laundry bag (even my underwear in a separate smaller bag haha). I really appreciate that they don't use scented detergents or softeners. My clothes smell fresh and clean but never give me a headache or flare any allergies. I also have sensitive skin, so it's nice to not start itching from an overuse of fabric softeners. Are they the cheapest laundry service around? No, probably not, but worth it for green, fragrance free service with a smile. And pretty much on demand - I text Joseph that I need a pick up and I'm usually getting a fresh drop off within 24 hours. read more

It has been a month since I complained about lack of a/c at this laundromat. And a month later, it is hot & humid and no air to breathe. Customers cannot and do not stay unless they have to. Employees, who are working long hours, are working in terrible conditions. Whatever technical, personal or other reasons that have been given to me over the phone this past month by the owner - this complete lack of consideration for employees and customers of all ages - is UN-Acceptable!!!
