Apparently this company used some type of crappy solution to clean the chandelier. A week after cleaning, all of the crystals started to fall. To this day, they are falling and falling. I am so outraged with company, and how they have literally DESTROYED my chandelier. I am definitely going to lawsuit this company, for the types of terrible and shitty services they are providing their costumers. I am completely outraged. I called them after to ask why this was happening, and after a minute of listening to my issue, they hanged up on me! I tried calling again, but they were too scared or annoyed to even answer the call. This is so disappointing, and this company will be finding a lawsuit against them very soon. My fiancé and I hired Merry Maids to do a move out clean as we are trying to get our home ready to…read moresell and I am just so frustrated and beyond disappointed with how poorly the house was cleaned. "Our trained local cleaning professionals will leave no corner of your home or apartment untouched." But the floors were not swept or mopped, the countertops were not wiped down, some of the blinds missed, there was an air vent in plain site that was missed, the closets were not touched, the pantry missed, outlet covers not wiped down, the blades on the fans were poorly done. So obviously some corners are left untouched. My fiancé was told the blades "looked a lot better and they were there scrubbing them the best they could". It took me 15 minutes, some Lysol spray and paper towels to get them done and all the dirt and grime off. So I'm not sure why their description sounds like they deep clean and will make it "look like you never lived there". When that's clearly not the case. Yes they offered to have someone else come by and "fix" the issue but here's my problem, why would I trust they would do the job correctly the second time around and that we wouldn't have to still come back and redo it when they couldn't do it right the first time and to be kind of brushed off as they did what they could for the amount we had to pay for is kind of a downer. We used them in hopes of taking the stress off of us having to do it as we have a 2 month old and my fiancé works 3rd shift. All this did was put even more stress on us having to re-clean what should have been cleaned to begin with. Oh but we got a very small discount because apparently the poor job they did was worth the amount we still paid. This place is a joke. So if you're looking for someone to come into your home and do a very half assed job for an absurd price then Merry Maids is the place for you.

Merry Maids of Sycamore has worked with me when I've had conflicts on the scheduled appointment, but the result is always the same. If you have neither the time, willingness, or ability due to health, these folks do more than what's necessary. While everyone is entitled to their opinion, I see another review in which an individual believes some details were missed, then I suggest practice the simple act of communication, politely ask them to remember to do something if it's that important to you. If you rely on them regularly like I do, you would find they always do the most important basics and then vary some other tasks with every other visit. Steve N.

My wife gave me this mission, and unlike Ethan Hunt I did not have a choice to refuse it, and if i failed, I would be destroyed in five seconds. What to do? I went to ask Yelp and with their guarantee for up to 2 grand in services found on the app, I had no excuse. I put in the request and one of the services that contacted me was "We Clean" I spoke to the main boss Yahaira, set up a date to check out the daring mission set a time and date and bam! She is amazing, came on time and left the place better than we got it, no really the owner said "it looks better that when I gave it to you" awesome. The price was super fair and reasonable especially for this level of work. My wife was asked if she was satisfied and she responded the house looked amazing that was until I returned home. . I had noticed that the bathrooms were not as cleaned as efficiently as they should have been and that there was still some countertops and tables that had not been dusted or wiped off. I was charged a considerable amount for their best services. When I called up to talk to the owner she defended her girls claiming that they worked their tails off and it was hard work. Isn't that why they are employed? I hope they worked hard. When I asked the owner for a partial refund? Her response was I'm not giving you anything back. Yes I had called 6 days after the services were completed because in the process of that 6 days I had it planned a party and had a limited time to make a phone call to express my dissatisfaction with the services. Regardless of the time frame the bathroom in question was off limits to my guest. The owner accussed me of being dishonest The owner did nothing but call me a liar and defend her staff even after sending her before and after pictures of her services. Instead of doing the right thing of refunding part of my money back I was told I was not getting a refund and there was nothing I could do .
