I have been using this business for 6 plus years, a couple years back there's a new owner his name is Zak, over a year ago I brought a Canadian goose winter coat for into clean Xpress for possible patchwork that I needed. Zak I said he could do the work if I brought him to patches, and I believe he charge me 49.95 for the cleaning, and the patchwork, I had accidentally burnt a couple small holes on the front near the pocket of the coat with a cigar ash. I brought Canadian goose patches into clean xpress I dealt directly with Zak, and they first clean the coat and then there's seamstress put the patch on and pick up my coat a week 1/2 later perfect clean I'm happy. Recently, about a month ago. brought the same Canadian goose coat to clean xpress for end of season cleaning for '29.95' so it would be clean for next winter. I picked it up four or five days I noticed that the coat was not puffy like it supposed to be. This typically means that the dry cleaner didn't run it in the dry or air dry cycle with tennis ball to make the coat poppy since it's down it's a process that needs to be done., I called I believe I spoke to Veronica. She said, bring it back no problem we'll redo it. So I brought it in and within the same week picked it up I always leave my dry cleaning in their blue plastic bag covering the garment that I hang up in my closet.. this was the week in April that the weather was really warm with 70s and 80s temperatures for about 10 days straight well the following Monday I think was April 24. It was pretty chilly in the 30s and I was outside with my son, I said I'm gonna go grab my Way, Canadian goose coat out of closet as I pulled the plastic cover off and noticed one. It was totally unzipped down the center and the pockets in the coat was also pretty flat on both sleeves, also a white film all over the coat in the seams specifically very heavy around the left arm on the inside of the inner elbow on the sleeve, also, noticing on the other sleeve backside of the elbow, a flattened burn mark and color loss on my goose down coat. so I called right up.to clean xpress spoke to Zak on the phone he said no problem I understand bring it in and will re-clean and take care of it, and take care of me at our cost and make it right, so within a few days, I brought the coat back in, put it on their manikin hanger at their counter. One of his employees was there, and I proceeded to show her everything on the coat that I'm talking of, and also noticing a burn mark and a flattened mark on the other elbow of the sleeve. Zak was not present so I asked her when Zak would be present. She said anytime so I waited around the area doing my errands open to talk to Zack. Finally a couple hours later I went back and Zach was there and we looked over the coat together. He doesn't did not understand or have any knowledge why this could happen to my coat he said we would re-clean it to see how it works out. Said it would be ready by Friday 28 April, I received a call mid day from Zak saying the coats not ready but he wanted his manager to work on the coat for the best results also saying that we clean our systems once a week and Monday is the best day for the best cleaning that didn't make sense to me. He said it would be ready Monday today May 1. I just received a call around 2:15 PM saying that the code is ready, and that he believes all the white film was off and the one arm of the shrinking with the heavy white film was is good and the coach puffy but the other arm that was flying to after their cleaning still had a flat burn mark on it that he's nothing he can do about that. Send it in a dry cleaners. There's nothing hot they could possibly touch any customers garments. I know I'm fact this is not true! And on Friday, 28 April prior to him, redoing and attempting to fix the damage he said he didn't want my business anymore. I said if the coats not corrected I want the money 975.00 to replace it Zak said absolutely not. He was very cruel and mean not concerned for my issues with his work.
