I'm not one for facials but I decided to give this a try. Upon arrival I was greeted by the friendly host and given a small intake form so that they could better serve me during my 30min facial. I elected to add some additional services (pictured) which were discounted 50% since this was my 1st time. Amanda took care of me and she was great. Gentle during each treatment and gave me a brief overview of what it was, what to expect and what it does. At the end my skin looked and felt great and the experience was wonderful. Their location is tucked into the corner of a busy and small square and you could miss it if you are not looking for it. Sadly the parking is not great due to the amount of businesses in the same area most notably a Trader Joe's. I got a 1 hour Sculpt facial with Katie and I am so so happy I decided to come in. Katie explained everything she was putting on my face and why. Her hands felt like they were sent from heaven and always mentioned that she can adjust pressure/heat/cold/etc. The ambiance was so cute and calm, good music and the view was beautiful. I hadn't had a facial in a while, so I was a little skeptical--but I was pleasantly surprised! Laura did my facial and she was absolutely amazing. I love CYDF. The name is cute and the whole experience is very streamlined. If you're looking for a place that excels at maintenance facials, CYDF is the best. Their facials are gentle, quick, and make a big difference in maintaining your skin. I know that coming here will give my skin a boost. You don't get the full spa experience here because it's more of a facial-during-your-lunch-break type of experience, but they do their best to make it a fun and memorable time. I love getting the chair with the lake view. I've done their Pumpkin Peel and Hydraboost facials and have loved the results after each visit. Their Goddess facial oil is the BEST face oil I've ever used; it doesn't feel oily or sticky on my skin, and glides on so nice. I've tried other rose-based oils and nothing has beat it. It's my winter holy grail. Your first facial is only $35; and the membership is really fair for what you get. Parking really sucks here. You can park across the street too, but it's the worst part of the experience. Bring an umbrella to protect your fresh face if you have you walk far to your car. Once your checked in they provided you with a questionnaire regarding your skin type and any concerns and Erika, who did my facial, helped me fill it out. When in for a 30 min facial. The staff was very tentative with going over things with me as I have an allergy. Thankfully there were only two items that we had to swap out! The place is very clean and you get a good view of the lake. Not your typical quiet spa, the vibe is more creative and comfortable! She was professional, talked through all the steps and educated me. I found out at the end they do gua sha here and I would come back to try that. I will mention I was in the chair behind the reception and it's hard to relax if they are talking on the phone or talking with other customers on the other side of the wall at check in. My skin boss asked what my skin concern was and I let her know my face wasn't breaking out but was pretty dry so she used products to combat it and I could feel my skin plumping right up like magic as she worked her way through the different products and did the following to cleanse, exfoliate, tone, mask with the ice queen, and last was the goddess hydration oil. One of the products she had me smell too was the eucalyptus and it was potent enough to give a nice little burst of aromatherapy. I also added the enhancement with the guasha and shoulder massage and if it was any longer I would have went into nap mode. CYDF is located in a Winter Park plaza with Trader Joe's and Night Owl Cookies. It's hidden at the back end. Although there's a parking lot, it does get a little tricky with not an enough spaces, but I happen to arrive when there was one available for me. The facial spa is extremely clean yet has a cool, trendy vibe. It's simplistic in design but exactly what someone looking for a facial needs. My tech was Kylie and she was amazing! The front desk staff was also sweet and made you feel welcomed. First off, I upgraded to the Zen Bundle, which was an additional fee above the complimentary session and included: 1-hour upgrade, tech neck massage + gua sha, pumpkin peel, LED light and vibration therapy, hand massage. It was well worth the upgrade! I made sure to tip my tech well for her services. Kylie was knowledgeable and you could tell she's good at what she does. From all the cleansers, oils, masks to the facial massages, it felt incredibly relaxing. My favorite was the LED mask that lightly massaged my face with its vibrational frequencies. I literally could have fallen asleep. Everything was so therapeutic and enjoyable. I was too relaxed to make small talk, which was also nice to stay present in the pampering session. Since I was going to be in the Winter Park area, I decided to get a quick facial (they are all 30 minutes so you can be in and out) at Clean Your Dirty Face before my lunch with a friend. I had gotten a facial here before so basically knew what to expect and also knew to get to my appointment early because, unfortunately, the parking situation at this location is awful since it shares a small parking lot with other businesses plus a Trader Joe's. I was greeted as I came in and just had to fill out a form with a few questions about my face and facial routine since I had already pre-booked and pre-paid a facial with the Virgin Bundle Enhancements which is the Ultrasonic Extractions, Pumpkin Peel and Hydra Boost. I was very excited to try all three of the enhancements. Katie, my "Skin Boss" came to get me right on time and then reviewed my form and asked me a few more questions. She then had me lie down on the chair and took a look at my face close up. She told me what kind of facial would be best and then got to work. She put my hair up and then started a steamer and then went through the process to really clean my face. I loved the Ultrasonic Extractions as I feel it cleaned my pores without too much pressure. The Pumpkin Peel is more like a scrub than a peel, Katie explained, and then asked me to tell her if it was too intense as some people feel the cinnamon in the scrub is too intense. Everything felt great, although the Hydro Boost is pretty cold, but was only on small areas of my face at a time. Before long, my 30 minutes were already up. I was worried I would look terrible with no makeup meeting my friend but she thought I looked great with glowing skin. Even now, 8 hours later, my skin looks and feels moist and plump and healthy. I came in for the $35 first timers facial. The facial itself was okay, my skin looked and felt the same afterwards and didn't accomplish what I'd asked for. I definitely feel I could have achieved the same results at home. It was very relaxing, though, so I really enjoyed the experience of it! What threw me off, however, was the checkout process. I intended to tip 15% based off the $35 service, but was told gratuity is based off the full price service for $70, not the $35 I had paid. I have never seen any establishment do this. I then said I would tip 15% of the $35 and the cashier repeated to me in a pressuring tone "it's a $70 service, though." This policy of gratuity being based off the full price of the service is not mentioned anywhere online or prior to checkout, and put me on the spot. Val was my esthetician, and she was friendly with a calming voice. This was my 1st facial, and I was a little nervous about having an allergic reaction to new products. However, based on their products being natural and their method of testing their ingredients on 100,000 facials, I felt I could give this a try. Plus, the ingredients are vegan and fragrance free. Their facials are rooted in yoga, health, and wellness. The 30-minute facial includes a face massage to help with blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, and relaxation. This location is small but was a pleasant experience with good music and an inviting color scheme. There are 3 types of facials... glow for radiant skin, fresh to brighten dark spots and detox for a deep clean. You can alai opt for some enhancements like extractions, pumpkin peel, hydra boost to stimulate collagen, an acne blast, a neck massage, and a deep exfoliation. I did opt for some enhancements and went with the extraction and a pumpkin peel. I enjoyed this experience and the facial massage felt so relaxing. After the facial, I was provided with some product recommendations. Their products are pricy. The dancer oil at $58 and the flash facial $72 were recommended, but I needed to think about spending that much on new products. I would return for another facial, and after I finish off some products I already have, I could give some of their products a try. This was the perfect way to spend a Sunday! We came early because we know that parking lot and it is very crowded. We didn't really see it at first but knew we were going to do some shopping after at Trader Joe's so we parked closer to Trader Joe's. We were early so we walked around the little shopping center. It is a cute little shopping center with lots of shops. This location is all the way in the corner to the left. If you do not look for it, you might not see it. When we walked in, there were some products on the side and a cute little front reception area with two chairs. The receptionist was so sweet, I wish I remembered her name. She gave us some intake forms that asked a few questions about allergies and skin issues. Our appointments were at 11 and we were there around 1045. I was called pretty much right on time. The back area is cute, there are three chairs and old timey barber shop chairs. They have music playing with today's hits. The one chair has a beautiful view of the lake, but I did not get that chair. There were some hooks to hang your purses and such. She went over the form and asked about my skin. She then looked at my skin and recommended the brightening treatment with lemon. That was find by me. The facial itself was only 30 minutes. It includes washing your face, scrub with facial massage, toner, face mask with ice cube roller massage and then oil with another facial massage. The massage is literally the best part! It feels so good, it gets the blood circulating. I had the lemon brightening treatments so everything she used has lemon in it. It smelled so good and so fresh. Our checkout process was really easy and don't forget to tip your facilaist. We also were going to be very good and not buy anything, but it escaped us, and we ended up taking advantage of their sale and purchased a toner and the scrub. My only complaint is that there is not much sense of privacy. It is not what I am used to when I get a facial. I could hear people coming and going, walking right past me, I also had a "Chatty Cathy" in the chair around the corner, that talked the entire time. I heard her whole conversation as if I was in the conversation. And honestly, I think her facial person wanted her to relax, I did not hear her voice, just the customers voice. When you get a facial, you want to relax, and it was very hard for me to relax. I honestly felt exposed and really did not like the non-privacy. All in all, this is a cute place for a facial! I love facials, so after receiving a voucher (thank you Yelp ELITE!), I decided to give it a try. I additionally paid for nanosculpt and a neck massage add-on myself. Parking can be rough. I was there at 11:30 on a Sunday and there were very spare spots. When I left, cars were lined up trying to find a spot. I'd definitely leave early if you go later in the day. Check in was very easy and the space was very clean! Laura (I believe was her name) did an excellent job! She analyzed my skin and walked through every step. She also gave me a heads up when she'd be applying something cold to my face, asked if pressure was ok, and made sure I was happy and comfortable. The facial had my skin feeling very moisturized and plump afterward! I was pretty satisfied. What I was caught off guard on was the pricing structure (you have to pay to make it an hour-long facial, but you can still add on stuff they I guess they'll speed through?) and how it's not intimate but rather similar to a hair salon where there's stations. If I would have known this, I wouldn't have gotten the neck massage because it felt pointless doing it through layers of clothes. For the price of adding the extra time, you could probably go to a private esthetician. The music was 2000s-pop and the colors are bright with a window wide open (pretty view though) so if a private, lowlight facial on a bed is what you want, this is not for you. I had trouble relaxing. I'd definitely say this is a great place for a quick 30-min facial if you feel like your skin is feeling down for sure! I have never gotten a facial before and WOW! I loved this facial. When I first walked in, I was greeted warmly and taken early to the back by Sarah. Sarah was great and she looked at my skin and gave me suggestions regarding my redness and dry skin. I also ordered an oxygen facial on top of the Yelp one and I really liked that. I think that she spent a good amount of time on my face and made sure that the products soaked in. At the end, I wasn't pushed to buy any products and they were not pushy at all for me to sign up for a package or future facial. I will return here though (as long as the products don't react badly to my skin) I recommend this facial to anyone who has not gotten one and to anyone who wants a speedy but VERY effective facial. I am a facial newbie but I had such an amazing experience at CYDF! Upon entering I was greeting and checked in, and as I was quite early I had some time to check out their products. At my designated appointment time I was greeted by my skin expert Sarah who was so kind and knowledgeable. She advised me my skin was on the drier side and we agreed the Glow facial was the best option for me. The chair was rather comfortable and leaned back enough that I wasn't sat awkwardly. I do admit similar to other reviewers it does feel a bit dentist-y but no complaints here. We started with a steamer and the followed by a few products including a cleanser and facial scrub. She ended the facial with an oil and advised it was more hydrating than a traditional moisturizer and recommended I incorporate it daily into my regular routine. My favorite part of the facial was the ice rollers and the eye mask. The eye mask was an up charge but I felt it was worth it, although I admit I'm a sucker for them anyway. Since it is in the Trader Joe's plaza, parking is a pain but plan to arrive early enough for that. Although it's not quite convenient for me, I opted out of monthly membership, but I will be back for another facial!! CYDF appears to have a market geared towards express facials which would be really nice if you're looking for a quick self-care pick me up during the day. read more
