The showers were remodeled…read moreover 20 years ago and have not been professionally cleaned for the entire time - of course they were cleaned in that time, but my poor cleaning led to build-up of layers of bar soap which stuck to the shower tiles and made them look worse and worse. The owner, Elvin, took the time to explain proper care and cleaning for tile and showed me how much of the wax- based bar soap had built up on the tiles which I clearly was unaware of over the years - I knew I needed a professional cleaning and resealing of my tile. I scheduled one shower for a thorough cleaning, resealing, and some recaulking. Upon completion of the first shower, I scheduled my second shower for a full cleaning, resealing, regrouting, and recaulking as it looked plain terrible. Elvin arrived timely each day and worked diligently to complete both jobs within the timeframes stated, and with minimal disruption being unable to use the shower until the job was completed and the tiles completed dried from resealing. Elvin also cleaned his work area at the end of each day, something we appreciate. Also, his wife Dina was responsive to all my texts for scheduling and for any questions I had - both Dina and Elvin were friendly and professional in all my interactions. Both showers looked much better and I regret I did not contact The Grout Doctor sooner. With Elvin's advice, I plan on maintaining my shower tiles properly moving forward and having him back as needed for any maintenance / professional cleaning and resealing as needed.

In November 2024, we hired Sir Grout to service our shower due to mold in the caulk. We paid for…read morethe Shower Cleaner ($50), Shower Clean & Clear Seal ($483), and Epoxy Grout ($400). Within just a few weeks, the caulk began crumbling and peeling apart. Since Sir Grout offers a 1-year warranty if you exclusively use their cleaner, they returned and fixed it at no cost. Unfortunately, within a few months of that repair, the caulk turned an unsightly yellow and mold reappeared beneath the surface. The shower looked terrible again. When we contacted them, it took a while to get a response. Eventually, Steven, who had actually performed the grout service and was absolutely lovely to work with, came out, admitted the mold and yellowing shouldn't have happened given our care routine, and said he'd reach out to his boss for a resolution. Weeks later of my partner following up a few times, Jose finally called, only to say there was nothing they could do and blamed it on "ventilation issues." I have never had yellowing issues with caulk before using this company, and the lack of timely communication, accountability, and follow-through on their 1-year warranty is disappointing. I will be hiring a different company to redo the grout.

Our house is 30 years old, like many houses in the area. We wanted to remodel all three of our bathrooms, and I didn't know where to start. I didn't want to hire a designer, so I started off by researching products at Home Depot, Floor & Decor, and the tile stores on College Blvd in Anaheim. After many trips, I was uninspired and still didn't know where to start. There are so many decisions to be made, so many colors, sizes, and considerations about which products will work well together. After seeing many different products (maybe too many) at those stores, I still hadn't come up with any satisfactory designs for my bathrooms. I then thought of Regina's store, where I had bought glass backsplash tiles for our kitchen a while ago. I went to see Regina, and Regina guided me through the whole design process step by step. She gave me exactly the right support to structure my decision-making and helped me come up with designs I loved. With her help, I didn't feel confused or overwhelmed anymore. I followed her advice and got the project moving forward. Now, all three of our bathrooms use products from Regina's store, all of which she helped me select. The tiles are a little more expensive than what you can get from Home Depot and Floor & Decor, but Regina has much better selections and much better quality products! Her prices are also very competitive compared with the other designer tile stores for the exact same products (I checked). Also, during the renovation process, there were times where I needed a couple extra pieces here and there. With one phone call, Regina would order and send the products to our house. Now that the whole project is finally done, everyone is very happy with how everything turned out. We have different color schemes for each bathroom, and the tiles for each bathroom fit so well. I told him it wasn't an issue, but I'd truly booked someone else. Then he started complaining that he was getting attacked by AI and it was a crime, and it was hard to know if potential clients were real. I said I was real, and he must not have have put my voicemail and my email together. Then he asked me again for my name and city so that he could put it together. At this point, it was getting ridiculous, but I complied, I was trying to help the guy out, and get off his list. Then he starts cussing at me. I blocked him. What a jerk. I'm telling you, I was never anything but kind and helpful to him, the only thing I did "wrong" was ask him for a custom quote (which he never gave me, because he clearly still had no idea what work I'd asked him to do - he only gave me his 3 hour minimum shtick) and later had the courtesy to tell him that I'd hired someone else. Instead of blowing him off. I was nice, and he is throwing four letter words at me. I would find someone else who is more trustworthy, reliable, knows the difference between a computer and a real person, and knows how to treat potential clients. How will he treat you inside your own home??

Our regular cleaner, Asel, is phenomenal. Any changes to schedule, etc., are communicated well ahead of time. Pricing isn't the cheapest, but it's also not the most expensive (for whatever reason, cleaning services in South OC are just very, very expensive, even compared to NY, where I was last).
