They are quick to try and get you scheduled and dated without a proper quote and when pressed about it, it's on you to ask the questions that might have some hidden fees.. otherwise you find out after they come and lured you with Sunk Cost Fallacy tactics aka they show up and you've already committed your time for the cleaning so you just do it. Only when I asked these questions, extra chargers were brought up: - Square footage is more than 200sqft? (Ours was 210sqft) Thats an extra $50 - Oh, not on the first floor, thats another $50 for "mobility cleaning" - Oh, you might have a stain to address (our home is pretty clean, and we were only wanted a fresh carpet for a newborn on the way - was just asking how they remove stains). Yet another $50. This would be on top of whatever special they had 3 rooms for $135. This was all my own questioning to them to get a quote, not the other way around either. Otherwise, they would've showed up, and then hit us with these hidden fees. Bonus was after I said thanks, I'll call if I am interested. They still didn't clean any urine and the smell got worse after they sent another technician, Will, out. I had to pay an extra $140 for two gallons of the urine enzyme liquid that they didn't even use. They just used soap and water. Shame on this company. We have been using Zerorez for carpet and furniture cleaning. The process is great in that you don't find the lasting residue from the cleaning supplies as it is all water based. I just called them out after 5 years from our last cleaning, and not because the carpets were soiled, but because our dog passed away, and I was thoroughly cleaning the house of all dog fur and residue. They also cleaned our floor rugs.....blacks look black, and whites are shiny white. The staff is always on time, courteous, and helpful with extra questions. read more

This company was recommended to me by a co worker. I was initially attracted to the fact that they use little to no chemicals in their carpet cleaning; however, since my carpet is 12 years old after the cleaning was done there are still stains in the high traffic areas. Christopher S was the technician that provided the service and he was excellent, efficient, and came right around 8am at the beginning of the appointment window (8-10am) so this review doesn't reflect the service he provided. As for the value of the services, I felt that it was pricey for their type of carpet cleaning. I paid roughly 350.00 for three rooms including a 25.00 fee for them to bring a portable unit since I live in an apartment complex in case they could not park in front of my building (fortunately Christopher did); however, they were able to use their regular unit out of their van yet still charged me the 25.00 portable unit fee and a 25.00 "set up fee". Also, Christopher recommended the post treatment protective spray which will help prolong the carpet getting dirty faster and that service was 90.00 which I felt was too steep. Unfortunately, I realize since my carpet is old I am going to have my carpet cleaned again (this time with a deep chemical cleaning) to obtain the results that I want. I wouldn't recommend Zerorez if you have older carpet with high traffic areas and/or stains; however, if you have new or newer carpet with no high traffic areas nor stains I am sure they will suffice. read more

I scheduled a sofa cleaning with this company, expecting a routine, professional service. When the technician arrived, I moved to my kitchen area and let him know that I would be in the same room or nearby while he worked. This is simply my personal comfort level when anyone is working in my home. The technician became visibly offended, saying he "knows how to do his job" and didn't want anyone watching him. I explained that I was not "watching" him, but that I do not feel comfortable with strangers working alone in my living room without me being present for my own safety. In response to this he ended up getting frustrated and offended and leaving in a huff with his supplies. I found this response very unprofessional and unsettling. A customer should never be pressured to leave their own living space during a service appointment. This experience made me feel unsafe, and I would not use this company again. My wife called to set up an appointment and we have a 660 square-foot room but there's a built-in sofa that covers 100 ft.² of it and there's several built-ins that cover another 60 ft.² so it's only about 500 ft.² total. Zerorez got my voicemail on a Holiday and called me by the afternoon. They expedited an early morning service for me, and my technician - I believe his name was Sal - couldn't have been sweeter or more communicative.
