My friend loves Clean Mart! She is particular about her clothing and told me that Clean Mart does a great job. I am often with her when she does a drop off or pick up so when I had a large bag of clothes that needed dry cleaning as well as a comforter and bath mat that needed laundering I decided to give Clean Mart a try even though it is completely out of my way. Clean Mart is an environmentally friendly dry cleaner and their dry cleaning prices are great at $1.97 per garment. My local dry cleaner charges me $5.75 per shirt (even the ones that don't require ironing), which is just getting ridiculous. Clean Mart charged $5 to wash the bath mat and $20 to wash my comforter. The results? Well my bath mat looks amazing! The comforter was rolled up and put into plastic so it's completely wrinkled and it doesn't smell fresh. I would have preferred it to be folded. My work blouses don't look as vibrant as they do when I pay $5.75 per item. They look a little worn from the cleaning. I would totally take my bath mat here again or some inexpensive sweaters. I have been taking my family's clothes to Cleanmart for at least 20 years. They are always beautifully cleaned and pressed, never a problem. They have gotten out set-in stains that I was sure couldn't be removed! The owners and staff are very friendly and professional. Best drycleaners I've ever used. read more

Very bad store and rude customer service. I tried to recover my nice hangers that I bought my clothes to the store for dry clean. No one told me to take clothes off hangers. When I called, I am told they do not keep anything that customers left. So be aware not forgetting anything. They will be gone forever. read more

One morning on my way to work picked up clothes, shortly after, manager called saying there was a small mix up with a pair of pants. He came to my place of work and dropped off the pair of pants which were mixed up. They looked alike. DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT EVER have them clean anything over $25 in value. They admittingly lost TWO brooks brother dress shirts $80 each- they tried to substitute 2 Walmart specials - POS quality- hoping I wouldn't notice swap. They claim their clerk mixed up laundry at check in. However they say their responsibility is only $25 per garment. Poor customer service, especially when their mistake. oh and if they loose your $500 suit - they will only give you $25!! Been going there for years- never again. My gym used to be next door to CleanMart which made it very convenient for me. Well..my gym closed down over a year ago and I still find myself making the trip from Sterling to Chantilly to get my clothes cleaned at CleanMart. For me it is worth the trip, There must be 10 dry cleaners closer to my house but I always trust that my jackets and slacks are going to be in great condition when I go here...sometimes even better as they sewed a button back on for me last trip! I've been coming to Clean Mart every couple since they opened, and have always appreciated the consistent, quality service from this family run business. They're friendly, hard working, and have served me well for years both with respect to their cleaning service and alterations. However, I recently discovered three short sleeve shirts in a batch of mixed articles they cleaned and pressed were all damaged in exactly the same way; four holes punched through the fabric in exactly the same spots, front and back on the left sleeve, perfectly identical on each shirt. It couldn't have happened anywhere but there. I spoke with the owner about it yesterday. She was polite and friendly as always, and gobsmacked by the idea it could've happened there. She took me behind the counter to demonstrate the machine they use to press short shirtsleeves and let me inspect it, but stopped short of lending credence to the idea the damage was their fault (which I wouldn't have done in her shoes either). As recompense, she offered to clean the five or so articles I had with me for free. I declined, picked up my waiting articles, and left. The shirts weren't new, and I like this place so much so I might've taken her up on her offer and overlooked their damage liability agreement IF I could believe future articles wouldn't be inexplicably damaged. However, I've got too many expensive articles I need cleaned, so I'm disappointedly combing Yelp for a new dry cleaner. read more

The best dry cleaners in the D.C. metro area! They consistently return my clothes on time and better than before!

I brought my sweaters here to be hand-washed as they advertise they hand-wash. The first time I took them in, the lady declined hand-washing and said that they sweaters could just be dry cleaned. I pointed to their sign that advertises hand-washing and showed her the care instructions labels on both garments indicating hand-wash only, DO NOT dry clean. Long story short, they ended up just dry cleaning my clothes instead of hand washing them despite paying the higher price for the hand-wash service. They ruined one of the sweaters which now looks faded and had a lot of gray fuzz on it. The other sweater was still dirty, had something small yellowish caked on the back. A total waste of money! I have to agree with other reviewers who warn not to bring anything you care about here. read more

This is the best dry cleaner in Virginia. I've gone here for eight years and they have never destroyed my clothes (which cannot be said for any of the other cleaners that I've used). Their work is excellent and they have great customer service. I've moved out of the area, but still come to this location for cleaning. Other dry cleaners charge three times the amount for lesser work. read more

This cleaner is incredible. They managed to completely remove nail polish spilled down the front of a brand new and expensive dress shirt. I had tried nail polish remover, pure acetone, nothing worked, it just spread the mess around. I don't know how you did it, but it's kind of a miracle! read more

Convenient location when traveling from DC to Front Royal route 50 West. The most important factor over other drycleaners is they use the organic and enviromentally safe products to clean your clothes. I have been handicap several times during the years of using these awesome people . Absolutely the worst cleaner! i have been going to that place fore some years and every time i bring it to their attention that when they press the shirts the chest part overlaps and becomes wrinkled but it never happen i always end up with most of my shirts overlapping and they always offer a press over . On my last load of 33 shirts i specifically asked the owners son to make sure they don't overlap the shirts from the chest when they press them and he assured me that it will not happen this time, sure enough when i went home i discovered that 27 shirts where in a VERY BAD shape, i called on the phone to express the situation i was told to bring it back to be done again, i went to the store and showed them the shirts and told the owner and her son that i use some other cleaner and this never happen the owner said " Please when you go to the other cleaner to get your shirts done bring me one shirt so i can see and learn how its done i want to learn" At that time i lost my trust in that place and kept my shirts and asked them to return my money back and i was told NO we will not give money back because it's our policy we dont give money back, i told them more than once that i was not happy with service that they have provided and i am going to get my shirts redone again at a different cleaner. I mentioned to the owner and her son that i will write a comment and post it on their website and will contact the Fairfax county consumer affair the simply said Go FOR IT. * If the owner want to learn how she should press a shirt she should not be open and ready to serve the public. * I am sure that their no refund policy was put in place due to So Many complaints and even if they have a police in place how come its not posted anywhere in the store. i remember long time a go when they use to say " CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT " not anymore the customers becomes a slave at the mercy of vendors like Cleaner Mart. read more

in response to the son of the owner's response: it's interesting that the most expensive item you "donated" was our hugo boss mens suite but just so happened to have the rest of our shirts available to return to me. and to make it even worse, you can't even tell me WHEN or WHERE it was donated. the only reason why the BBB closed the case is because i did never replied. let me reopen that case and bring to light that you can't even provide valid proof that my clothes were donated. i guarantee you that it i took your business to small claims court, you WOULD be held accountable for our "donated" suit. get it straight. there should be no tolerance for complete BS management and zero customer service. you couldn't even tell me where my clothes were when i came to pick them up. you didn't bring up the idea of them being donated until after i left. nice try though. read more

My husband and I had been using a local drycleaning company conveniently located near our home for almost 30 years. While their service and results were great, the prices had increased so much that we decided to explore other options. CleanMart is quite a bit further from our home but WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. The personnel we have met are all top-notch:PROFESSIONAL AND PLEASANT. Within a short time after my initial visit, the owner would recognize my car and have our clothing ready as I entered the facility. There is parking designated for their company directly in front of the door. The returned clothing has always been in PERFECT CONDITION and we've never had less than EXCELLENT RESULTS. I appreciate the extremely low prices, but would have recommended Clean Mart even had they charged a substantial amount more. I RECOMMEND THEM HIGHLY!! (I surmise the entry from a "Jeff F." is bogus. A person who does actually own a $500 suit would know, IMHO, the difference between "loose" and "lose."
