A week later, which is so fast for this type of gown, she picked it up and it was perfectly hemmed to "floor length." The stitches on the delicate mesh lining are immaculate and both the outer and inner skirts' hems are even all around. The dude grabbed most of our items off the conveyor, then disappeared to the back. He came back with my son's suit jacket, not cleaned, with every one of his front buttons missing or destroyed/broken in half. They said when it was received, it was inspected before cleaning and the buttons were discovered as broken/missing. We know my son didn't break the buttons on his brand new suit, and we dropped it off with buttons intact. They claim that's how it was received. One button falling off, that I could find explainable. But a button literally cracked in half and the other not just missing but the threads looking like they were stretched to the max before the button tore free...that looks like obvious damage to me. They credited me the cost of the cleaning ($3.50), but they claimed zero responsibility for the damage.

Some were more complicated than others (one dress required being taken in and straps being altered, another needed to be shortened). The tailoring was wonderful each time on the first try! The alterations are pretty expensive, but I'd rather invest in good quality alterations on the first try than pay that much or more in getting things redone. When received the rubber was already fraying. After wearing for about 3-4 hours they already had major signs of damage. I went back and gave them my boots. They told me they would be ready the following week on Tuesday. It is now Friday and they haven't touched them because I need to some reason talk to the owner which the shop refused to give me their number. They've held my boots for two weeks now and refused to give me my boots back so I could take them somewhere else to be fixed properly. For those of you who are sitting there debating on replacing your soles on your boots instead of buying a new pair. Please. Save yourself the trouble and just buy a new pair.
