Three hours later I got a live person who took 45 additional minutes to address water on the floor and to provide a refund. The bathroom was locked since opening as well. The attendant must have had the day off she's great but this does not make up for bad customer service. Do better! read more

I have been here too many times. I thought it got the job done; but every other visit at least one of my t-shirts has a new rust stain from the machines. More than once there's been bleach left in the washers which ruined a few of my items. Not to mention the owners consistently smoke right outside the front doors. All the equipment is brand new, there's limited seating but there are modcons like wifi and power sockets. There's a vending machine too, and I think a toilet. This comes at a cost. The washes start at $2.50, but the dryers are $0.25 for 10 mins. So a wash is $3.00. You could probably find cheaper, but I like this place. I came to CleanSpin in the middle of the day on a weekday. It was fairly busy but always a few free machines and it felt safe. The woman in charge was friendly and constantly on top of everything, wiping everything down. The space is clean. The wash cycles I used were between 24 and 28 minutes. The credit card readers worked well. If management is reading - I wish the machines were numbered. If you have loads scattered throughout the place because those are the machines that were available when you got there, it's hard to keep track of where your stuff is. There was one issue but I suspect it might be true for all laundromats - I hadn't used one since you could smoke in restaurants and back then no one had a sense of smell. Anyway, I use a strong but fragrance free detergent and when I wash at home, my clothes have no smell after. I did 6 loads at CleanSpin and when they were done they all smelled like perfume. I ran all of the machines again, dried my clothes, took them home, and every thing I washed there smells very strongly of harsh detergent with a strong fragrance that is not what I used. Some of my clothes also pilled in a way that happens with harsher detergents but not when I wash at home. Fingers crossed that it will only take me one wash at home to get the fragrance out. CleanSpin is in the same strip mall as York Kebab (formerly named U-Pick) which has great affordable food, lots of vegan options. read more

They charged me 15$ to dry instead of $.25 cents using the card swipe. I've read other reviews and say that the owner has told them it was a temporary hold. Why is this necessary? I will change this review once I see the money back. If not then it's worth 15$ for this shitty review of what could be a scammy business practice. And make sure to share it on social media. And it's been 3 days since I went and still haven't seen a change on my bank account. Also the lady that works there told me a previous time I was there they are closing at 9pm and turned me away when I found out later they close at 10. I rarely go to the laundromat since I have onsite washer and dryer in my apartment complex. However, today I just wanted to get all the laundry done at once. Everything was great up until it was time to go. I had all my laundry ready to go but was at one point a bit distracted helping my son put the laundry in the car. Fast forward several hours later when I began putting laundry away at home and realized that I was missing one of my laundry bags. I clearly remember putting the last bag in the basket (how could I forget it was a bright hot pink laundry bag). This was around the time that I was back and forth helping my son and unfortunately left the basket unattended. So, to whoever took my laundry bag full of socks and underwear, I hope you enjoy them! It's disgusting to think that you can't step away for a moment because someone may take your stuff. Also, it would be nice if someone picked up the phone or was around when I went back to inquire on missing laundry. Never going back to this place as it's very clear that the people who frequent this establishment are thief's. read more

Pros: Nice and clean Friendly attendant Credit cards accepted Change machines Vending machines WiFi Tv's Free dyers during their grand opening (don't know when it ends) Cons: Parking could get crowded Not enough benches to sit No AC it can feel like a sauna, even with the "fans" on I continue coming because I like the atmosphere but the AC thing is a HUGE deal ! Also I like that their change machines will give you change, for example if you put a $20 it will give you $5's back instead of breaking the whole 20 bill!) also a heads up, I did use my card for 1 washer (4.75) and it "pre-authorized" my card for $15, called management and they communicated well, I had to wait for the charge to clear which was eventually correct but didn't like the $15 hold, if you're using your card for more washers than that could be worth it. read more

Where do I begin!? I've been a customer at most of the laundromats in the Eagle Rock/Highland Park area and this gem outshines them all. Yes, the machines are all new with various sizes available. Yes, there is a well maintained bathroom available to customers. Yes, it is clean and well attended to. Yes, there are outlets and wifi available and of course vending & change machines. But what makes this business really stand out is Maria the attendant. She is very friendly, professional, kind and helpful. I had left a number of clothes there by accident overnight and after arriving first thing the next morning(6am) and calling the service number, Maria called me right back. She had found them and had safely kept them in the back. It was a huge relief and I am so thankful and grateful that CleanSpin is maintained by such an angel! Thank you. I love this place. Especially when it's not busy. Maria is amazing & super sweet! She goes above & beyond keeping the place clean & running well. I never use credit cards when I wash here, though I have at other places & there's always a pending charge that falls off of 10-15 bucks per use. It's a bit excessive but I get the pending hold as some gas stations do it too. So bring your quarters if you don't want pending changes. The change machines will break a $20. And be respectful sometimes people leave clothes in machines for over an hour & other folks need to use the machines too. Don't leave it for Maria to tend to. read more

I love CleanSpin - the primary staff woman is always friendly and keeps the facility clean. There is almost always parking. The card swipes are easy to use and I never have to worry about coming up with enough quarters. On that note: the card swipes show an initial 15 dollar hold on your bank statement. Once the charge clears, your statement will reflect the actual amount you spent. I had a question about this and wrote a letter to the facility. The owner called me back and kindly explained how this works. And this is exactly correct! read more

DISCLAIMER. Im going to write this review and then Im going to hope I never see yall mofos in there. So lets just get into it. (Also the first time I went, that this review it based on, was on a Friday between 3pm and 5pm.) BEST LAUNDRY MAT Ive ever been in while living in LA. Its clean (oh so clean), no riff raff, prices are fair, lots of available machines. I think most of the machines have the option of quarters and card slot. The only minor gripes I had that lead me into the 4 stars rather than 5 was that they had a small sink but no paper towels and the laundry clerk there wasnt hospitalitable, atleast to me. Probably due to the fact that I dont speak or look Spanish bc she was talking to the Spanish speakers in there. Just a simple "HI"or "can I help u" would suffice. You know, good customer service or atleast present your self to be approachable. She ignored the shyt out of me. But that wont hinder me from goin back. So you know; if u live around there dont go there. Just kidding. But seriously its great, lets keep it clean and nice, and hopefully no homeless will come in there and get buck naked just to wash the clothes on their back. read more
