Heads up locals, be weary of all the reviews you see on Google (4.9 ). They use deceptive billing practices, never experienced anything like this. After my appointment my copay was $90. Steep yes, but I paid it. Later I get a bill for more money which now shows I only paid $40 in person. After my first appointment I am asked to come back to check up. It was the most short and impersonal experience ever. Looked at me for 5 seconds from a distance and said the precancerous skin issue is resolved and left the room. I pay another $90 for that service and I'm on my way. Later I receive an updated bill showing two in person payments of $40. What is going on? The lady at the front desk couldn't give me an answer. My insurance company can't figure it out. And now? Now they're sending me to collections over their billing errors. UPDATE: While I appreciate a response from the business, I am am wondering why they wouldn't respond to emails about this issue? And why would this not be made clear on the bill? Where is this hidden $50 that I just now am hearing about? This is deceptive. read more

Tracy Ramos has been my dermatologist for three years now. I switched from someone at a different practice and have never been disappointed. She is kind, professional, and personable and knows what she is doing. She has found 3 different spots of skin cancer for me. I am currently waiting on another spot to be biopsied, and I have complete confidence in her and would highly recommend her to anyone who is suspicious of spots on their skin. read more

I keep getting stuck with bills since Clear Choice cannot seem to get my insurance correct despite using their system to provide my plan. Feels like they want me to be billed the full amount so they can make more money. This feels like another for-profit corporation exploiting the community to enrich a corporation located elsewhere. This is what's wrong with our healthcare, for profit-healthcare to enrich a doctor somewhere. The care was adequate, and the office is kind of gross. Though it seemed odd that I used to eat breakfast in the same building as it was Arnie's Cafe in a previous life! It is now a sterile medical provider location. I was referred to Clear Choice by my Oncologist as I had some angry looking moles that needed attention. Both were frozen with nitrogen and one biopsied. Tracy Ramos was a professional that explained her observations and concerns. I was in and out in less than an hour and felt good about the process. I have a follow up next month. read more

I saw Tracy, and she misdiagnosed my rosacea as dermatitis. I was on a very strong antibiotic for weeks with zero improvement. Finally sought a second opinion and got prescribed the right meds and cream, and within 48 hours Ive seen significant improvement. She discounted my own feelings that it was rosacea, discounted my family history, and barely looked at my face. my symptoms were not consistent with dermatitis at all, but she insisted. I regret going here for care and will not return. read more

1. My primary physician called them 3 weeks ago and referred me. They never called me to schedule an appt. 2. I called them myself and a man answered the phone. He seemed to be on drugs. He could not answer any of my questions and whenever he did respond, he stalled about 15 seconds with every response. Red Flags. 3. I called again yesterday and spoke to someone else. My wife, child and myself are all patients of Tracy Ramos and have been very happy with the care she has provided. The office is very clean and all the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's nice to have a dermatologist that serves the Noth coast. read more

Terrible , feels like a JIFFY LUBE - not clean, when I mentioned I am on chemo and have zero immunity, I was brushed off (it was the girl's first day, she was not a nurse or anything) they just put vaseline on the wound - my hand blew up and was infected badly from the scrape. They returned a diagnosis of some kind of skin cancer and started up with the appointments, but I had such a bad experience that I just went to Portland, OHSU dermatologist gave me a cream that cleared up the healing wound that Clear Choice left. Very haphazard care at CC, no confidence in the place. Save yourself some time and grief, just go to a REAL medical center. I am STILL paying off the bill - (OHSU has granted me full financial assistance, BTW) and have been trying to contact the billing people for MONTHS - they just happily take $40 from my credit card every month, no way to reach anyone. I have called, left messages, tried to CHAT with no response. The number offered on the receipt from my credit card company , is a FAX MACHINE. This place should be shut down. Its a clear SCAM. Was super stoked to get in to Clear Choice! Heard great things about them and had a good feeling. Made the appointment with ease and in good time. Still feeling pretty good about the upcoming appointment. Day of appointment. Arrive 15 minutes early, check-in process is a breeze, receptionist is a hoot. Alright, still feeling pretty good. Ended up being a pretty long wait. Come to find out, they were in the middle of a staff birthday party that they couldn't get away from. So, the MA finally comes and gets me with barely a greeting. I can't even remember her name. The only thing I can remember is that she must have just had a derm procedure because her face was super red and peeling. Barely asked any screening questions. Then says lemme get the nurse. So, I am being seen by a family practice nurse not anyone in the dermatology field! Said nurse doesen't even exam me. Barely asks any questions. States that she will send a script for antiobiotic and compound (they never made it to either pharmacy and when I called I got chewed out). This place is a wreck with sub par providers and support staff. Please do your homework before going here. read more
