Bryan was a neighbor and acquaintance before he was our contractor. We'd known each other for a few…read moreyears so when it came time to pick a contractor to help remodel our newly purchased home, we didn't hesitate: There was implicit trust. In Nov. 2024, Bryan and his team embarked on a 6 week, $20K+ partial home renovation for us. This included, but was not limited to, interior painting, flooring, bathroom remodel, drywalling, plumbing - his team marginally touched the majority of our home. The home was vacant at the time and the goal was to complete any and all necessary work before we moved in. We have two small kids, so logistics would be tough if we had to juggle a reno once moved in. It has been just over 1 year since we moved in and the following issues have occurred: Plumbing leaks in both bathrooms; one minor, one major. The big one required the ceiling below the bathroom to be partially removed (photo attached), dried out and replaced. The bathtub was installed incorrectly which led to a slow leak every time it was used. Thankfully, my wife noticed the ceiling looking "soft." She intervened before it had the chance to collapse. The interior paint has flaked off. Either by touch, scratch or when we've attempted to hang something. We bought Sherwin Williams paint for this, not a cheap alternative, so the result is perplexing. Our assumption is it wasn't primed correctly. Bryan assured us we'd have "a brand new home" once all work was complete. Because we knew and trusted Bryan we believed this wasn't merely a sales pitch. Granted, we asked Bryan to complete a variety of tasks but if he or his team didn't possess the necessary skill set then he should have said so. He has come out a couple of times over the past year to try and fix an issue or two: the grout on the bathroom tile, paint, flooring. My assumption is he thinks we're being pedantic, rather than the work being subpar. That brings me to our downstairs LVP flooring; it's bending and flexing and popping up. We've had 3 companies come out this month to assess and they've all assured us it was simply installed wrong. Our floor needed to be leveled first and/or the correct underlay used. Bryan and his team laid LVP directly on unleveled concrete. The door to our half bath will no longer close because the flooring has popped up so much. Bryan has blamed the quality of the product for it lasting less than 12 months from installation. He also said we should have provided him with instructions from the manufacturer, alongside the material: His way of justifying the poor installation. He acknowledges he'd never worked with the material before but not in a context of responsibility for the work he completed. Bryan's response, in his own words: "I'm sorry to hear you're having issues with the flooring. I remember that when it was delivered, many planks were already damaged, cracked, or chipped in the boxes, and the product seemed lower quality, which can contribute to buckling. Since the flooring was purchased directly by you and it's a product we hadn't worked with before, we did not receive the manufacturer's installation requirements. Because of that, we don't provide a warranty on labor for owner-supplied materials we're not familiar with. If the manufacturer requires a vapor barrier for this product, that information normally needs to be provided with the materials so we can follow it. We installed the flooring using standard industry practices for LVP." The 3 companies we've consulted have estimated between $5-8,000 + materials to repair and replace the flooring. This will render our downstairs unusable for at least 1 week. My wife, 3 year old and 1 year old, will be displaced during the work. I am in shock that Bryan would treat us like this. If he's willing to do this to our family, I'm not sure how he'd treat a stranger. We're in the process of reporting Gallego Services to the Department of Consumer Affairs (DCA), The Contractors State License Board and The Attorney General's Office. Needless to say, we do not recommend Bryan or his team.

We had been quoted anywhere between $5,000-$15,000 to replace our sliding patio doors with French…read moredoors. Our garage is detached, so we could not lock our old patio doors, meaning if we wanted to use our garage, we either had to leave the house unlocked or walk around the block to our front door. We were told by all the other contractors that our doorway was a weird size, and that they were unable to install the doors without cutting into our drywall and stucco and removing our patio stairs. We were also told this would be a project that took multiple days. I posted our other quotes to Yelp to see if other contractors could beat it, and Sivan responded. Oded from Sivan came in and confirmed what I suspected: That what we were told by other contractors was wrong, and that they could easily replace our sliding patio doors with French doors with a lock, and that it could be done via retrofitting and would only take a matter of hours. Everyone at Sivan was easy to work with. My husband and I frequently have meetings during the day, so it's hard to have a call about house stuff. Everyone at Sivan was able to communicate via e-mail and text so we could handle things while in meetings, and they were super responsive even though we sometimes took months to respond because we had a baby since we originally reached out to them. We were able to get our doors done for $4,298.80, which was the best quote we had from any contractor and included labor, materials, and a warranty. In sum, we highly recommend Sivan if you are looking to replace your doors!

My home looks absolutely beautiful! I am so very happy! I was referred to Clear Concepts by two neighbors on my street who also had windows replaced by them. Both neighbors were very pleased and I decided to give them a shot. I did get three other bids as I always do. Clear Concepts was not the lowest, but they were definitely not the highest. David came out to give me a bid and I felt very comfortable talking with him. He's laid back, knowledgeable, and won't pressure you. If you do decide to get an estimate ask for him. He's very helpful and patient... I had lots of questions and options to cover. The installation was also very impressive. The crew was so clean and efficient. In terms of completing a window retrofit (replacing 1980's single-paned aluminum with high efficiency, dual-paned vinyl), Clear Concepts beats all other window and door companies, hands down - better than Window World, Crystal View, Pella, Marvin Windows, Andersen, you name it. From Sam in sales, to Sharla in finance and scheduling (handled our persnickety HOA!), to Joe and Robby with installation (even explained specifications to HOA rep, several times); the process was seamless, no-hassle, low-pressure. From ensuring that all windows were sized and spec'd correctly, to facilitating an expedited installation once windows arrived from the manufacturer. We got a tree a week ago. After a week it was dry as the proverbial bone despite watering. Pinery Christmas Trees took it back and gave us a very fresh one -- no questions asked. Got some good advice too: use hot water initially, how to fix a leaning tree, and unscrew the "rebar" stand and use it next year. Good people. read more

I later met Malake who facilitated the transaction. Malake was wonderful and put the whole package together and was very good at keeping me updated with changes that might occur. I called her on the weekend in the evening and she still answered my call. Absolutely awesome. We ran into a small issue with sizing on a couple of windows from the window manufacturer and 360 Windows simply offered an upgrade to those windows that had the issue at no extra cost. Talk about taking care of your customers. Lastly there was a small hiccup with the screen door that didn't make it into the shipment for my sliding glass door. 360 windows contacted the manufacturer of the windows and for whatever reason it was further delayed. Not any fault of 360. I spoke to Lauren on a few occasions regarding the screen and she decided it was taking too long to get the screen from the manufacturer and Lauren contacted a local vendor that manufactures screen doors and sent them out to build a custom screen door since the original vendor was having issues. Much appreciated!! Everyone I encountered at 360 Windows was awesome. They were patient with all my questions and friendly, responsive, explained everything and informed me of any changes. The install team were punctual and really on top of the job. I am very happy with my experience and highly recommend this company. Thank you all for a great experience. Three of our replacements were for original 30+ year-old single-hung windows which were no longer functional because their balances had failed. I put the project out to bid on Yelp and got a half dozen responders. This glass company was not the low bidder, I rarely go with the low bidder unless they can justify underbidding everyone else. Southern California Windows & Door had the highest Yelp rating. The glass was 1/2 inch thick, 92 inches by 39 inches, very heavy, in a difficult corner of the glass wall. They got on the project in a reasonable amount of time considering they had to order the glass. They kept me informed of dates and progress. I have always been happy with my windows and doors....still function like they were installed just yesterday....quality products and great people working for Brothers makes it a no brainer. Really fair price and great customer service. Brothers was referred to me by a coworker and I've since referred them and had three others do their houses with Brothers if you need a window or a whole house worth....I wouldn't call anyone else. I'll update once they complete this door for me....and I know I'll be happy with their work!

I just had my 2nd set of windows installed by brothers having had them previously replace 2 sliding…read moreglass doors and some windows. a couple years ago. The service from Brothers is so good. They are some of the best contractors I work with. Their customer service is excellent, they show up on time and work until the job is done. They are professional, I can't say enough good things about them. The installers I got this time were: Issac Peter and Jesus They were dog friendly, down to earth guys who went above and beyond for me at every step. I will continue to go back to this brothers for our window and sliding door needs.
