The exam was thorough with a few recommendations, to include freezing a small area to remove a mildly concerning growth that I hadn't suspected previously. Clear Dermotology was a clear mistake!! In December 2024, I made an appointment to have a lesion on my temple that I've had for the last couple of years examined. It started to grow in size and had become flaky and painful. My welcome by Clear Dermotology reception was terrible. I arrive to the office, as I'm waiting to check in my phone rings. It's Clear Dermotology's receptionist! She was calling to remind me of there late policy! She stated that if I do not arrive in the next few minutes she was going to charge me. For starters, I was not late and I was standing at check in! How embarrassing for her! I was seen by Dr. Z. He did not make me feel at ease at all. He seemed distracted and it was clear I didn't have his full attention. He looked at my lesion and suggested a biopsy and I agreed. Despite being given lanocaine (topical & injected) the procedure was very painful! I stated that it hurts but he kept cutting. Later, I asked if there was a medicine or ointment I could use if in case the lesion returned. He only suggested petroleum jelly/aquafor. I left feeling very disappointed and in pain. It was later reviled that the lesion was benign. I felt like I didn't get any resolution or advice on how to treat this lesion. It was a waste of my time. About a month later, I healed but the lesion was showing signs of its return. I had no idea what to do so I decided it was something I'll have to live with and to just get used to it despite how bad it felt. In July 2025, I noticed a weird skin growth on my forehead. In fear of possiblly experiencing another painful biopsy I made an appointment with another dermotologist. I went to this new doctor and my visit was wonderful! She addressed the skin growth I originally booked the appointment for but showed major concern with the lesion I previously had biopsied. She wanted to biopsy it again and I agreed. The whole procedure was easy and painless! Two days later, I received a call that the lesion was pre-cancerous! Thank goodness I went to another dermatologist! I'm now scheduled to get rid of this lesion once and for all. No thanks to Clear Dermotology! read more

The office is clean, well organized and a joy to visit. I've been a patient at this office for years and normally see Dr. Daniels only once a year. Unfortunately, my recent experience with the front desk/office manager was extremely disappointing. I missed an appointment in 2022 and 2023 due to serious life events (two car accidents and the loss of my dog), and my most recent appointment on July 21, 2025, because I was sick and physically unable to move due to my hip and back issues. I even sent the office an email at around 2 a.m. to let them know, but they never acknowledged it and still charged me a $100 no-show fee. When I called to explain, the person the so called manager was rude, repeatedly talked over me, and accused me of having "a pattern" -- despite the fact that I only see Dr. Daniels once a year. I was told it "makes a difference" if I leave a voicemail instead of sending an email, though no one ever communicated that policy to me. To make matters worse, I was refused another appointment with my doctor until I pay the $100. For me, this is not about the money -- it's about the principle and the lack of professionalism in how this was handled. Patients deserve to be treated with empathy, respect, and understanding, especially when dealing with medical issues. Sad to say, but after today, I will not be stepping back into that office again. If this individual truly is the manager, the office would benefit greatly from one who demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and respect for patients. read more

Let's be honest. I first came to Clear Dermatology because it was impossible to get an appointment with my regular dermatologist within a year. Clear was able to get me in within a week. She was very patient and explained why she choose to switch away from Botox. Highly skilled clinicians and great "support" staff!

I don't usually write reviews, but I thought it was relevant for those who, like me, have constant dermatological issues. I have brown sugar skin and have been diagnosed with psoriasis, pityriasis rosea, eczema, you name it I've had it. So finding a doctor who is truly interested in my skin care is important for me. I did my research and was happy to find Dr. Blake Zelickson.He is extremely competent in his profession, as well as engaging and intellectually curious. As someone who has dealt with a wide range of skin problems, this is crucial for me. I didn't feel rushed. He spent over 30 minutes with me answering all of my questions and then some . I would strongly suggest Dr. Blake if you have serious skin problems and need a doctor who will go above and beyond to fix the issue. read more

Arrived on time to my appointment but because I didn't fill out paperwork prior to the appointment was told I couldn't be seen. While Dr. Zelickson is wonderful, Dr. Daniel really rubbed me the wrong way. I brought my 2.5 year old Autistic son to her yesterday and she acted so poorly towards us. My son is afraid of doctors and therefore was crying upon entering the office. When she finally came in (30 minutes late) she said "I could hear him crying for the last 20 minutes from outside." Gee, thanks. She then went on to tell me how uncooperative he was being which was super rude and unhelpful. I then told her he is autistic (which i shouldn't have to explain), to which she replied "I've seen a lot of autistic kids." Okay? She then manhandled my child and aggressively placed him on my lap, without either of our consent. She did not have permission to touch my child in that manner. She went on and on about how uncooperative he is. I won't be returning to see her. Extremely rude. read more

They charged me a no show fee of 100 dollars for not showing to the zoom appointment even though they didn't send me the link since my number wasn't on file. They also didn't send me an email which would've avoided this. Their "chart" system is not the best. I had to update my credit card on file twice, and update my number 4 times! They then proceeded to say its a courtesy to send those reminders and that it's my responsibility to reach out to them. Dr. Daniel rushed through what was supposed to be a full body skin check. Much less thorough than the same exam done by previous dermatologists. Certain areas she did not check. When she was finished, I asked one question about my skin and she told me she was very busy, in a rush, had a meeting to attend and that I should book a second appointment. Total time she spent in the room was about 8 minutes. Very disappointing experience and I don't know how this counts as appropriate medical care. I had a skin biopsy done by Clear Derm, it got infected, and apparently my weekend phone calls to the on call physician a month ago weren't appreciated. The injury is still not healing well, so a month later (now), I called again. The office manager scheduled me for an office appointment and we ended the conversation...or she thought we did. I didn't hang up right away and I got to hear exactly what the office manager and Dr thought of me. Among the disrespectful and condescending things said were 'she's nuts' and scathing comments about the course of treatment I took for this injury and how annoying it was that I didn't pick up the phone right away a month ago. They also chatted about how they scheduled me for an office visit vs a courtesy wound recheck so I would get charged. In other words, she felt justified in scheduling me to get a specialist copay out of me since I am a pain in the A and wasting their time with my concerns??!. Wow. Doctor's assistants were helpful in letting me know what this growth was and Dr. Daniel was helpful in taking the time in explaining the procedure I would have. Disappointing experience. I was clear about my specific concerns when I called and got in to see the doctor right away, which was great. However, once we got into the room I was told by a nurse that I had to choose only one of the two concerns to address at the visit. Both issues were in the same area of skin and I didn't know how to determine which to address first, that's why I was there for a diagnosis! I was told that the doctor needs more time to provide counseling, which is fine, but if that is the policy, I should've been informed on the phone that I would have to make two separate appointments and I would have. This appointment was for my daughter and as a parent I thought it was completely insensitive to ask me to 'choose' between two conditions I was concerned about and expect me to prioritize one over the other. The doctor did end up providing a diagnosis for both conditions (because there was no way to avoid seeing both conditions at the same time) and counseling, but I left feeling like I had been chastised and humiliated in front of my child. read more
