I had a small leak in my upstairs bathroom which caused a brown spot on my kitchen ceiling. I was referred to this company through my home warranty and would NEVER use them again. The tech acted like he fixed the problem and it was no big deal. I left town and my pet sitter told me that I now had a big leak that was dripping through the ceiling which was not happening before. A neighbor helped stop the leak until somebody could look at it. I called the warranty company who sent the same tech back out a second time. He still didn't fix the leak and didn't even bother to turn the water off. He left pots and pans around to catch the waterfall he never fixed. When I called to complain the dispatch person did not know why I was upset and that they had "fixed the stoppage" which was never the issue. I had to have a plumber from a different company come out to fix the leak. I now have to replace all of my kitchen cabinets and will be out thousands for this companies incompetence. Our home warranty company assigned us Clear Flow Water when our water heater stopped working. This is our third home, so we have dealt with our fair share of repair companies and we couldn't have been happier with the service provided by Clear Flow. Jose, the technician who completed the work, had wonderful communication skills letting us know what time he'd be arriving and arrived on time! He was very professional, knowledgeable and polite. He repaired our water heater quickly ... yeah for hot water again with little kids :) Oh and the icing on the cake was that Jose put shoe covers on upon entering our house - a little detail but so appreciated! read more

i was overcharged $475 for a $75 service fee ... causing my account to overdraft ... on top of that they tried to charge me again after that causing another overdraft fee ... they only refunded $435 .... they owe my $110 ... i spoke with tina and she was supposed to give me a call back and im still waiting ... of course its not your money so you guys dont care .....during these times how can you guys play with a persons money like that ??? "It's just like magic" I was very impressed with Clear Flow! I had a leak from my shower into the downstairs ceiling. My warranty company first sent out a guy from a different company, he was saying it was so complicated to fix... he and the warranty company were in kahoots to determine a way to not cover the issue. He didn't even try anything to fix the problem and barely touched anything (he knew everything by looking at it apparently). I demanded a second opinion, and I was SO GLAD I did! Clear Flow was much nicer to work with, they got me an appointment as soon as they could (3 days away) and were kind on the phone. They sent Cesar out. He was patient as he listened to me explain what I knew about the problem already. With my luck, nothing would leak when he was here! He assured me if anything changed he would come back. I knew it would leak as soon as he left... and it did! I called, and he turned right around and came back to fix it. He was able to diagnose the problem, and had all the supplies with him to fix it right away. I would say this company has a good inventory of tools and supplies (unlike the first company I worked with). With a little work, he was able to kindly, knowledgeably, and honestly fix the problem for me that both the warranty company and first plumber insisted was impossible. Unprofessional; do not suggest them. They were scheduled to come to my house between 1-5 and never showed up. I didn't realize that actually happened with working adult professionals. I called to check and was told the technician was coming, and there was in fact something scheduled. And yet, he did not show. I contact my home warranty who had dispatched them and they tried to get a hold of them. I then get a call at 6:15 that they were on their way. I told him I was not home. I tried to call back quick to see if they were far, or close because I was returning home soon, and no answer. Clearly they wanted a record that they then reached out, but I'm fairly certain it was not in good faith and just to cover their bases, hence the no-answer when I called right back. Because the window was 1-5 and at 6:15 they're "on their way". Great customer service! Will let local people know not to consider them. read more

We had work done by Clear Flow Water Solutions at the end of March. The work was covered under a home warranty, so they were the only company we could deal with. Some of the work completed was done properly, other parts not so much. According to them (Clear Flow Water Solutions) our drain was clogged in the basement so to unclog it they removed at least one sewer cap. (This work was not on our original claim, as was removing a sewer cap was never reported on paper or verbally). A week and a half after the work was completed, water was coming up through our floor drain - in the process of cleaning up the water I had noticed another pipe in the basement had a hole in it, a perfect square if you were wondering, which I layered learned was a sewer vent. Under further inspection I realized one of my sewer caps was leaking water. The company then came 2 days later to fix it, with no sewers on the truck, and an employee who admittedly said it was cracked and corroded the last time he was at our residence. They worked for 20 minutes unclogging the drain (which was suppose to be completed the first time), and then left without securing either of our two sewer caps, and wrote on their report that no further work needed to be done. All I will say is that if their employees weren't over worked and could meet the time frames the office provided; their employees would not have forgotten to tell us about our corroded sewer caps that they then cracked, and a hole that they cut in one of our pipes. I know the customer is not always right, but to have a "supervisor" call you names and yell at you practically an entire phone call instead of trying to address and reconcile a situation is extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. read more

Clear Flow is a JOKE. My mother had Clear Flow out to evaluate a water pressure issue. She was quoted a steep $900 for a new water pressure tank. Like many people, $900 is not chump change for her and she was deeply concerned and upset about the cost. We had another plumber come in an take a look at the issue for a second opinion before scrounging up the money for the new tank. The issue was resolved with a $3.50 FILTER REPLACEMENT. How dare you. Why was this not brought up or tested FIRST before telling an unknowing woman that she needs an entirely new tank? You are scam artists and thieves and I have made it a PERSONAL GOAL to expose and reveal your business for taking advantage of people. Expect to hear from me on every social media avenue, blog post, everything shy of and possibly even including standing outside in the street with a picket sign. See ya around. read more

Warranty company referred me to Clear Flow Water Solutions to replace a sump pump. Technician was at my home for ten minutes and installed a pump (not sure if it was new since I didn't see the box). I asked him if he tested it and said he had. I investigated after he left (should have done it before he left!) and the pump does not work. I telephoned Clear Flow four times--always get voicemail-- and subsequently put in a service request on their web site. I finally received a call. They promised to have a plumber return in two days, between 1:00 and 5:00. Waited all day. No phone call. No plumber. This company is unprofessional and unresponsive, and its technician(s) incompetent. read more

I really wish American Home Shield would use another company for plumbing issues. We read these horrible reviews, and were skeptical, but beings we have the warranty, we didn't have a choice but to use these guys. We came into this with an open mind hoping they could fix our blockage and maybe get lucky, but we were wrong. They did come in the allotted time, but that was it. Dan and Alex were very unprofessional. they came in here, had no idea what they were doing, wasted both our time and money, and couldn't even fix our blockage. told us they needed to pull the toilet, which isn't covered of course, and wanted to charge us $689. I showed Dan a drain in our garage, thinking that might be what he was looking for, and he said no that's nothing and walked away, then lied to the warranty company. We ended up having Mr. Rooter come the next day, and that drain in the garage that I was told by Dan was "nothing" ended up being where they needed to snake! So these guys were gonna charge us to pull the toilet for no reason. And if I would've told them to go ahead and do it, which i'm so glad I didn't, they said they wouldn't have been able to do it that same day anyway because they weren't prepared or had what they needed in their truck. Seriously? I am very frustrated and disappointed in both Clear flow water solutions and American Home Shield for even referring them to us. Waste of time and money. I would not recommend Clear Flow Water Solutions to anybody. I didn't even want to rate them 1 star! read more

I had to call this company because of American Home Shield. They were able to temporarily (2 days) reduce the water/sewage level that had backed up. But after $150 I would have expected more. Owner gave excuses but refused to come back out and look at it again. Horrible experience from start to finish. He's a sham 'ambulance chaser' tied in with American Home Shield. read more

Called my home warranty AHS and they told me I would here from this company. I had to call to get a status several times and it took over 24 hours to get a call back and response from the tech. I had a leaking water heater and no hot water. Asked if he had one on the truck and of course he did not and charged me to tell me what I already knew. It was Thursday now and was told he wouldnt be back until sometime early next week? Not acceptable response time for this type of issue and need. I found a local guy and was replaced the next day. The office and the tech who came out were polite and helpful, but after waiting for a whole MONTH for a water heater tank, they scheduled a time for me. I rearranged my schedule to be home for this appointment. I have been boiling water for everything from a bath to dishes, and carrying hot water up a flight of stairs. then they call and change my appointment to suit another homeowner!!!! My home warranty company sent this company to replace a leaking hot water heater. Initially, the technician wanted to upgrade the tank set up at a considerable additional charge. However, to their credit, we were able to work out a solution that involved a small upcharge without too much back and forth. Work was completed in a reasonable time frame and my tenants have not complained about the new heater having any problems. read more

Unfortunately, this was the company dispatched through my home warranty company. My water heater was leaking, Clear flow came out and replaced the relief valve. I asked them to check the pressure in the house while they were here, they said they did then took my money and left. Two weeks later I go down to the basement only to find a huge puddle on my floor. I call AHS to have someone come out and look at it. They sent the keystone cops of plumbing to look at it. They tried selling me some piece to go on the water heater; I DEMANDED they check the pressure in the house. I told them there is a gauge on top of the heater did they bother to look at it after a confused look on their faces, they looked at the gauge and said Ms. your pressure is high. Seriously??? Didn't I ask you to check that before you tried selling me additional parts for my water heater? I have no idea how this company stays in business. read more

This is a terrible company. They send "technicians" which really don't know what they are doing and are trying any cheap and quick fix. They replaced my kitchen faucet and a week later leak below my sink. Another technician comes out . The first guy took my 75.00 co pay for the home warranty agreement and pocketed that and still had the company send me a bill. He also put on a tub spout which did not fit, he did not caulk around it and it caused water to go behind my wall and run down creating a leak for the person who lives below me. Another tech comes out says the pipe needs to be cut but has no tools, no pipe, nothing. This past Saturday the thief and another guy come out and tell me the pipe does not need to be cut, and they tried to force the tub spout back on after removing the back plate. Then they left. Water was pouring into the wall and back in the home below me. Another company came out this morning. The pipe leading to the tub spout had to be replaced, the tub spout from Clear Flow was broken on the inside as well. The entire job for the new company was a little under two hours and it is all fixed. Do not use this company read more

Clear Flow Water Solutions was dispatched to our home by our home warranty company (AHS) for our water heater. They replaced the water heater the next day and it flooded by that evening. Tech came out and mentioned that we may possibly need a high pressure valve installed and left. Said he would contact AHS and see if they would cover. We never heard back. Basement flooded again and we called emergency number. No one called us back until the next morning and then gave us attitude about calling so many times! really??!!! We were told someone would be out Saturday between 1-5. Well... not surprising no one showed up and the plumber called and said he was running late would 7pm be ok? We said yes because we NEEDED this fixed. 7 pm rolled around and no one showed. He called finally around 8:30 pm and said he got behind and was 40 mins away and he would be to our house around 10pm! Are you kidding me? we worked for hours cleaning our flooded basement and we were exhausted ..10 pm was not good. They said they would now send a plumber out at 7:45 am on Sunday morning. Well, guess what ..they never showed until 9:30. The high pressure valve was installed in 5 mins and he was out the door. He forgot to turn the water back on as well. So since we thought all was well we continued with our day and did some yardwork. Went down to check on everything and before we even got to the second step of our basement we saw water. Basement flooded again! The plumber installed the high pressure valve and it was to heavy for the pipe he attached it too and the pipes pulled out!!!!! The home warranty company said they would call and have them send a senior plumber out! No Thank you! we do not want Clear Flow Solutions in our home ever again. There customer service is horrible and it is unacceptable to run a business like that! We have so much water damage and items that cannot be replaced due to them hurrying through a job. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!! Sit back and watch as the complaints continue to build! I have notified the home warranty company to STOP referring this inexperienced, unprofessional, fraudulent company!!!! I live in a small town home and have used the same size sump pump for over 10 years. It finally needed replacing and this company installed a very cheap pump that struggles to work!!! I called to have them come out to check the new pump; the woman who took the order said the pump was still under their six month warranty! I paid $89 for an inexperienced tech to come out (which he did on a dry day!) and all he did was lie and say it was working correctly! (I know what a working sump pump sounds like, and I know what a cheap, faulty sump pump sounds like!) He also tried to just sit around wasting time, staring at the floor and doing nothing; thinking he would increase the Pay By Hour charge!!!! I did not receive ANY documents on who manufactured this faulty, cheap pump! It rained a few days later and I called them back and informed them that I recorded this faulty pump struggling to work & I needed them to come and see how the pump DOESN'T WORK PROPERLY! A different man later called me back and said I should buy a larger pump from them; he LIED and said their products warranty is now "three months" versus the six the woman initially said!!!! I will be getting a lawyer! They are now refusing to replace this faulty pump with a working pump!!!! There should be a warranty on a pump that only lasted a few months! Clear Flow Water Solutions gave us a bid to replace our existing septic system that had failed - great price it seemed. What a horrible experience! They are NOT a SEPTIC COMPANY!!! Don't let them fool you!! Stay away from this business! They blamed the 4 month delay on the percolation test on the County - when I spoke to the county official, Clear Flow Water almost 3 1/2 months to request the test! David then spoke with both my husband and I but then denied ever speaking with me. When I did speak with David on the phone, he proceeded to yell at me. How rude! And what questionable ethics to deny ever speaking with me when I have the phone records to prove that HE called me! Clear Flow then highly inflated their bill so high and charged for 2 days worth of work because David can't manage his time and supposedly didn't go out to any other jobs - but he did! They will double bill you and charge you things that you should not have to pay. Stay away from these crooks! If you question the bill - they will threaten with an attorney.
