I recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership over the July 4 weekend. Normally I do not give a five star ratings to business as it usually requires them to go above and beyond what One would expect. This was actually the case with Clear Lake Autoworld. It's a little things To begin the inventory that they have on the website is the actual inventory that they have on site at the location. Do you know that I did advanced research to determine the exact vehicle that I wanted by range of year's mileage price I knew exactly what I can get and what I should expect. So my review it's pretty comprehensive as it covers everything from the website being easy to navigate, responsiveness of the dealership from when initially contacted, actual information on the website as far as phone number and physical address, and the courtesy provided by the staff there at the dealership. What I found at this dealership is at what they say on the website as what they have. There were some big name brand dealerships that would put bait vehicles on the website and when I called they were so conveniently have just so that vehicle, but then the next day or two that exact vehicle will be back up on their website again You also have the issue of either private sellers or dealers not posting on the website that the title on the vehicle was either salvage or that the mileage was incorrect (off by 30k to 40k miles) of what they posted on the website. All of it just gimmicks to get someone in the door and on the ground so that they can try to sell you something that you don't want. Additionally, you have all these dealerships that do not accept cash offers. Other dealerships wanna try to scam you into the financing to where they make money off you more there than actually selling you the vehicle for cash. Not so at Clear Lake Autoworld, they do have financing available but had no problem excepting the cash offer. As far as pricing goes the price I alternately paid was a fair price. Kelley blue book provides a range of what you should expect to pay for a vehicle and though it wasn't on the lowest Clear Lake Autoworld was not on the high end either. They were right in the middle with spare pricing on the vehicle. The other issue I found very positive is the vehicles being sold at Clear Lake Autoworld are in great condition. I can't tell you how many vehicles I went to go see that had great pictures but when I got there the dealerships or the sellers had laid some cut out carpet over the actual carpet upholstery of the vehicle so that the picture was nice. But of course when you picked up that overlay carpet The vehicles actual carpet was all tore up or the interior just must not in good condition. Just like a selfie Dealers no it's all about the angle. But not so at Clear Lake Autoworld what you saw in the pictures was what you saw when you arrived. They also went above and beyond and made sure that when I was going to pick up my vehicle they did one last check mechanically of the vehicle, insured no engine lights were on I would come on, or wherever even there, plus they did a oil change and filter change and they also ensure that they were new floor mats included. This is a little above and beyond that I'm talking about. As you know when you buy a used vehicle you're expecting to buy a new floor mats anyway. But Clear Lake Autoworld did that for me as a little extra. Not saying that's what I do for everyone but that is my experience with them. As far as dealing with the staff there Shane and Linda were great. Very down to earth people, telling you what they have and doing their best for you. Appreciate their honesty, straightforwardness, and just willingness to be helpful And making the car buying experience as pleasant as possible. So I will definitely when I start looking for a new used vehicle whenever that is next Clear Lake Autoworld will definitely be the first place I stopped to see and check their inventory. Never know what kind of germs you can find there is what I'm thinking. read more

Stopped in to look at cars and found one that suited our need. Test drove it and found a TPMS warning, the tires were unbalanced, and the alignment was out. Galen said if I put a deposit down he would fix those things the next day. That is fair so I did. Went back the next day and test drove it again and it was in fact fixed. He stood by his promise and acknowledged all of my concerns and was fair about them. We purchased the car and it made a cross country trip the next day with no issues. The staff was very friendly, and wasn't pressuring at all. Jason helped me find a great car at an even better prices, and went out of his way to ensure the car-buying process was as smooth as he could make it. Cars weren't dolled up before being put on the lot, and they took care of inspection and cleaning after I had bought it. Stayed open late to accommodate my schedule, and even delivered it the following day, after it had been inspected, at my work. I had been looking for a nice suv at several lots when i found one at Clear Lake Auto World in League City. Ronnie came out and greeted me and there was no pressure to buy just a pleasant experience looking at the inventory. I am in the retail business so I appreciate being able to just look around without a salesperson hovering over me. I took a suburban for a test drive and immediately saw the quality of the cars they keep. When I was ready to purchase I talked with Gaelen (may have spelled it wrong but he is the owner) and he was just as cordial and helpful. Ronnie, and I am not sure that this was his real name. He is the absolute most ridiculous person I have ever met. 2 different people on two different occasions stated that they were going to call me and neither of them did. I called twice and the last phone call, I stated to Ronnie, if I am not going to be approved don't bullshit me, just tell me. Clearly that hurt his feelings because he began whining about me cursing at him. I then asked to speak to a manager and he stated that he was the manager. I asked to speak to someone above him and he asked "for what?" I asked him was he refusing to allow me to speak to upper management and he said yes.... He then asked to speak to my supervisor which is ridiculous, for what exactly? He went on to tell me that the reason I wasn't going to be approved was because of the way I treated him. I was going to purchase a vehicle with cash even if I wasn't approved.....so Clearlake you missed money because of this idiot.... read more

I have had my car a couple weeks and I like it however, during the purchase process I was promised things( always get them in writing) this dealer will try to get out of promises. They will lie to you!! Also make sure you check out you vehicle thoroughly. I had to repair several things to the cost of about 400.00. If they say they did something, get proof!! No pressure, laid back, and efficient car buying experience. Recently went to test drive a preowned vehicle. Looked at car for 5-10 minutes in lot without sales person interception. Went into office to request test drive, copied license, and was given rough driving directions for where to go. Upon return, discussed, and agreed upon price, with no push for a warranty plan add on. Following paperwork, car was detailed, inspected, and ready for pick up. Only slight qualm was I had to ask if there were more than one key, which there was, otherwise I may not have gotten the extra set. read more
