I originally brought the car in with the new alternator, but they insisted the alternator was not the problem. Instead, they replaced other parts, including brake-related work and additional repairs, and repeatedly told me the car was fixed. Twice, we picked up the car only for it to break down within about half a mile, requiring it to be towed back. Despite all the repairs they performed, the original problem was never resolved. During my last visit, I was yelled at and told that because I was a woman, I didn't know anything about cars. That was completely unprofessional and disrespectful. They also claimed they had done some work for free, but none of it fixed the actual issue. I eventually had the alternator replaced elsewhere, and that was the only repair the car needed. Since then, the car has been running perfectly.

My vehicle only has 64 miles on it, and I'm not comfortable leaving it with a business that tells me one thing to get me in the door and then changes the story once they already have my car. Because of this, I wasted an entire day that I could have spent taking my car to a shop that was honest about its timeline. Reliability and honesty matter just as much as the quality of the work, and this experience left me feeling like my time wasn't respected. My advice is simple: if meeting the promised timeline is important to you, consider getting a clear written commitment before leaving your vehicle, or look elsewhere.
