When I finally dig an inspector out, he said there was no issue whatsoever and that I was fine to just clean up some minor water spots on an interior window and do a better job caulking. I finally went for a second opinion, and not only did they find the nails were not galvanized and installed on top of the roof instead of on the side, water had leaked in quite drastically leading to a $3000 repair. This other company literally walked on top of my roof and with her bare hands, picked up the entire tack strip that is supposed to keep things glued down. She couldn't believe the nails that were used and the placement but more so, that this was said to be 'no issue' by a professional. Your guy that came out to investigate literally never even put his hand on it to wiggle it around and see if there was an issue, he just looked - no ladder, just climbed part of my balcony and looked. If I had listened to him and just caulked the interior window so that more water wouldn't have come through, this would've continued and become an absolutely horrific problem. I know customer service agents aren't always a reflection of the company but this gentleman was a 'master installer' his words. I'm not sure what there is more to say, but as a business owner you may want to know. As an aside, I do appreciate that even months later, someone responded to this. I do hope things work out as your company continues to change.

Part of my gutter had fallen off, and both the roof and gutters were in pretty bad shape with a lot of moss. I talked to a few other companies before, and some tried to oversell or make the situation sound worse. This team gave me the most practical suggestions and a very reasonable estimate. No pressure, no upselling, just honest advice. Juan and Mario showed up on time and worked super efficiently. In about three hours, they got everything done perfectly, roof and gutters cleaned, gutters fixed, everything spotless. I really appreciated their work ethic and the way they went above and beyond without me even asking. They cleaned the small shed roof that isn't connected to the house, adjusted other parts of the gutter that needed attention, and left the whole place so clean. Not just the debris from the roof and gutter, they even blew away the storm branches and leaves around the yard. However, I found the service overpriced (I paid $272 for a 2-story 2300sf house) and really no better than I could do myself. The gutters were definitely "cleared out" of debris and leaves, but it pretty much looked like someone just put on some gloves and quickly pulled out all the big stuff. There were still plenty of small leaves and pine needles and dirt in the gutters, and in no way would I consider them "clean". This company definitely rushed through the job and did nothing "above and beyond" worthy of praise. Honestly, you'd be better off hiring a neighborhood teen for $50 bucks and calling it good. I also remember a year or two ago I had my roof pressure washed (I forget which company did this), and they threw in the gutter cleaning for free. The roof looked absolutely brand new and the gutters were spotless; as if they polished every inch with a rag or something. This cost around $400 bucks total, which is not much more than I paid these guys for *just* a gutter "unblocking".. Next time, I'll just grab a ladder and some gloves and spend half an hour doing this myself.

Long story short, I had a leak in the elbow of one of my downspouts shortly after they finished their cleaning. Naturally, I was confused why this was the case right after the gutters were cleaned by Hendrix. It turns out that the gutters (which are brand new) were installed improperly without proper egress for some of the downspouts. They came back out and helped me diagnose these issues for all of my downspout and helped me think about how to communicate to my gutter company, even though it turned out that none of this was their fault. There is so much muck on my back deck and on my neighbor's house. Solar panels have to be cleaned like windows using mild soap and water, a soft brush, rinsed, then squeegeed so that they do not streak. I turned the panels off the night before so they would not start to heat up in the morning, as cold water on hot panels can cause them to crack.
