I called this shop and the owner was very pleasant. He was able to repair our front windshield from rock damage on the freeway. How ROCKS fly up out of nowhere is beyond me! He could replace it, or repair it THE SAME DAY! We got hit by the rock at 140O or 2PM. We chose to have it repaired for the time being because the spider damage was not too big. It only took this shop about 6 minutes and the damaged windshield looks absolutely AMAZING!! Don't pass up the opportunity if you need a quick fix. It blew our minds how affordable and great the repair was. A very well known auto glass company gave a VERY HIGH QUOTE! Over $150. That quote was over $100 what we paid. They did a poor job fixing my windshield. When I asked them to fix it, they said it was the best they could do. The customer service is awful. I had to go to another auto glass place here in Lubbock to get it fixed properly. read more

Staff was friendly and got me in and out quickly, fixing 3-rock chips in my windshield. Called it in to my insurance so it was no charge to me, which was nice as well. read more

2/21/2019 Took company car in for rock chips. The receptionist was very nice and helpful, but everyone else didn't seem to want to be at work. Person checked the windshield and argued about the number chips I pointed out. Had to go to a second place to have the others fixed and found I was right when I pointed them out. Clear Vu could've fixed more but seemed like I was bothering them and they had better things to do. Seemed like they wanted to get me out fast and didn't look over the windshield for the other chips. Never had this happen and I've used them in the past. I'll have to find another place, maybe a little closer to home and not across town. read more

I had my glass replaced on my Lexus IS300. Within a month, I saw a stress crack coming from the top of the windshield. There was no rock chip or anything indicating another cause for the crack. Quickly that crack went all the way down and I went back to Clear-Vu. The lady at the front sent out three employees to look it over and they all agreed that it was a stress crack from the installation and a defect. The lady however did not agree and said they would not fix my windshield or warranty it in any way. I asked to speak to someone else and she refused and said the owner was in a meeting. I asked for him to call me when he was free and she proceeded to tell me that he probably would not call me. I said, so he will not speak to a customer and she said, usually he will not call people back. What kind of business owner will not speak to an unsatisfied customer. Be careful of warranties and I would not recommend this place at all. They completely ripped me off. They installed a windshield that had a defect and immediately cracked, and they would not replace it read more

Blown away by the efficiency of the staff here. Today I had a 4:00 appt for a windshield replacement and arrived 10 mins early. Someone immediately took my key to take my car to the back and I settled in for what I figured would be at least an hour at best. But at 4:18 I was back in my car with a new windshield and on my way home! Don't look around - these guys are the real deal! read more

My husband referred me to this business. I had a large chip in my windshield and called to ask how much they would charge to fix it. The lady (Shanna) I spoke with on the phone was very professional and friendly and asked me to bring in my car so they could take a look at it (since we weren't completely sure if we would have to replace the windshield). I came in and she took a look and immediately knew they could fix it without a windshield replacement. I was in and out in 15 minutes. I was thanked for my business and it cost $30 to fix. I highly recommend driving the extra mile or two to give this business a try! read more

We used them several times and had good service, however the last time was unacceptable. My hubby took my vehicle and afterward dropped it at my job. When I came out there were many ( 4 were huge) paint chips along the top of my windshield. (I did have one tiny one over the right side over the passenger seat when it went in) The mgr. or owner looked at it and went to talk to his employee who suddenly remembered that those chips were already there and forgot to report it while he was working on it. I guarantee that they were not there before. He told me that he believed his employee, therefore inferring that I was lying. He Offered to touch it up with one of those little bottles from auto zone. That was not acceptable at all. It is costing me another 350 to have it fixed. 2 details shops said the damage we definitely was made by a tool and not a sudden barrage of rocks. Not one of our 5 vehicles will go back there This letter is mainly to warn who ever uses this place of business, to at least take photos before you take your vehicle in to protect yourself. All three of my son's windows are about to be replaced. That is about 700 dollars that I will spend with someone else. Good luck! read more
