Don't believe the shipping dates. We were torn between Clearlight and Sun Home (I was leaning towards Sun Home). Ultimately, we went with Clearlight because they told us shipping was in 2-4 weeks whereas Sun Home was 8-10 weeks out. We wanted our sauna ASAP. We ordered it the end of Jan. It is now mid-April and it's nowhere to be seen. Disappointed. Should have gone with Sun Home. We'd probably have it by now. read more

Our experience with Clearlight Infrared Saunas has been nothing short of infuriating. The unit arrived with multiple defects that should have been caught by quality control, resulting in three separate service calls just to make it functional. During the second visit, the technician admitted to shorting out a control board, which required a third visit. Admittedly, none of the technicians Clearlight sent had ever worked on one of these units before; they were unfamiliar with the product and learning on the job at the homeowner's expense (we were required by Clearlight Infrared Saunas to have one of our own supervisors present from their 'projected arrival time, till they finished). Because of Clearlight's failures, the homeowners were forced to pay nearly $5,000 in additional labor costs, pushing the true cost of the sauna to nearly $15,000 instead of the $10,000 it should have been. That figure doesn't even include my own lost time spent in endless correspondence via phone and email trying to secure reimbursement -- which Clearlight has still refused to provide. On top of that, Clearlight misinformed us during the custom build process when we consulted them about properly enclosing the unit. Their poor guidance created issues with our building inspector. I ultimately had to provide a specific letter to cover all the inspector's concerns, forward the draft to Clearlight Infrared Sauna's own engineer, and have them put the draft on their own letterhead in order to get the project signed off. This entire ordeal -- marked by defective equipment, poor quality control, untrained technicians, misinformation, added costs, and zero accountability -- proves Clearlight does not stand behind its products. She was responsive, thorough, and I don't believe overzealous and her explanation of the benefits of this product. They have an exceptional military/veteran discount, which means a lot to me. My product was delivered with some damage. The customer service has been prompt and thorough in their communication and has facilitated a replacement piece and will be sending a technician to actually do the install of the replacement piece. It gets to 130 in about 30 minutes and can easily exceed 140° in my basement. But despite my insistence on a temperature of 150°, I am finding that 130° is more than sufficient. Good product, but Clearlight lies about the tech stack. There is no app! I purchased the Outdoor Sanctuary 5 in December 2024. It s a good product, and assembled as described. Equivalent to Sunlighten and others on a macro level. Complaint: They lied about the their being an app. There currently is no app. As a result, this is a 1999 technology. Even the built in control panel is ancient. The feature to set the unit to come on in 1-36 hours does not work. You literally have to go to the unit and keep hitting the time up arrow at least every hour to get and keep it warm. This is a big reason Jacuzzi and others stopped having Clearlight make the product for their brand. I would not have purchased this brand if they didn't lie about the tech stack. They also lied about the ceiling section being insulated. I put mine outside, but on a completely covered porch where the roof section is too big to fit, but they assured me I didn't need to install the roof section if I installed it under a fully covered porch because the ceiling section was insulated. I ended up insulating the ceiling section myself. My complaints are being ignored and unanswered. Otherwise, the unit is great. That said, I'd go with another brand if possible. read more

This has to be one of the best companies I have ever done business with. The sales process was simple and streamlined. I worked with Emily C regarding the purchase of my sauna. Was was responsive, helpful, knew her products. She would follow up with me regarding upcoming price increases as at the time we were not ready to order. We ordered the sauna and there was a backorder on the unit for 6 months. Emily keep us up to date and let me know the moment the sauna arrived and shipped out to us. Several years later of use (works fantastic) and I'm receiving an error code. I try to google the issue and try a few steps that don't resolve the issue. I emailed their support team on Black Friday and received a call Monday morning. I spoke to Brando D who was polite, and professional. He was able to resolve my issue in less than 5 minutes. I find this incredible service and follow up extremely rare today. Clearlight stands out from many other companies I have done business with as one of the best. Their product is exceptional, it is such a well built and solid product, I couldn't recommend it more. The Clearlight Sanctuary 3 in Mahogany is the best investment for my health I have ever made. I got mine directly from Clearlight. My sauna specialist knew what she was talking about and gave me all the info I needed to make an informed decision. It took my daughter and I about two hours to put it together. It was tricky for us to carry the largest panel but we managed. My sauna specialist had given me info to an company that does install Clearlight saunas but I chose to do it myself. I had an electrician come out and run the new outlet for it once I ordered so it would be ready to plug in once I got the This thing is a beauty! I haven't installed the app because I just turn it on before I do my workout and then it is ready to go once I'm done. It gets to about 125-130F when I'm in there but that's perfect for infrared. I sweat a ton. I set my IPad on the door handle and watch a show or the news while I'm in there. My whole family enjoys using the sauna. My youngest is in professional ballet training and it helps her warm up before her barre workout and recover after an intense week of dancing. My oldest loves to use the sauna just to relax and unwind. It's great for the whole family! It is an investment but with the lifetime warranty, it will last as long as I own it. I have read reviews about poor customer service but the great thing about buying directly from Clearlight is that I have direct contact with my sauna specialist if I need any help in the future. read more

After a nightmare experience with a different well known Sauna brand I reached out to Clearlight Sauna. Our rep Melissa has just been amazing, no pressure just education sales and literally had 5 calls with me to help us understand the models and what was best for our needs. We ended up choosing the Sanctuary 3 and are absolutely loving it. We were able to download the app and can literally turn on our sauna from anywhere. The door to our sanctuary y sauna exploded during use last night. Shards of glass actually landed on the roof of the unit, in addition to shooting across our room! The temperature in our sauna was only set to 132 and it had been used for only 45 minutes. I've tried to get in touch with customer service but no one is answering the phone, starting at 9 am ET. The voicemail just claims after hours. Nowhere on the website or voice message does it show business hours and what time zone they operate in. We loved our sauna up until this point but having a dangerous exploding glass door and frustrating customer service is a very poor experience overall. read more

Naturally the Clearlight Infrared Sauna folks of 1077 Eastshore Hwy, Berkeley, CA 94710 have NOT "claimed" their yelp page since as you can see, many (if not most) of the reviews are bad. Our FIVE-MONTH experience with them is yet another example of how they not only do not care for their customers, but that the business is/must be so badly run that they don't seem to know any of the basics of entrepreneurship. Our story is simple: we had always imagined getting a small indoor sauna, and we'd see the store from the freeway. We finally stopped and were able to look at an assembled one around December 1st of 2020. Since this is/was Covid-time, the employees told us that all sales were on-line. My wife and I decided to make a purchase as a Holiday gift to one another. Since their website always seems to perpetually having a "sale", we thought we might be getting a bargain. Spoke to one of their representatives (Frank) on the phone who answered all our questions. We were told, that due to Covid (folks being at home), the popularity of their products had gone through the roof, combined with shipping having been affected (due to Covid) that they were back-ordered and that we wouldn't be getting the Sauna until late March. Four months seemed like a LONG time to wait, but we're patient, we assumed the price was good... and Frank also assured us that we could cancel anytime (and get our deposit back), but that since we lived close (just a few miles), should anyone else cancel, we'd be moved up the list. He also said that since we lived so close that he might be able to get us free delivery, or at least cut the $200 fee in half. Neither of these enticements were true. Every time we drove on the freeway and saw the place we'd remind/say to one another; "end of March..." Since Frank had intoned that there was a possibility of getting it early, I inquired in Feb. if that was still a possibility. No; not really. Still slated for end of March. As the end of March approached, we reached out again to see if there was an update or ETA for delivery. The message we received back is that delays would be pushing it out to the end of April. So... FIVE months now from agreeing to purchase the Sauna and putting down the deposit. I did further research. I read the bad reviews here on Yelp. I looked at competitors, and looked into whether Clearlight's Infared technology and heaters were actually any different, or superior to competitors. Sure; there's some low-quality garbage out there, but I also found that other, more reputable companies made the same, if not better products AT MUCH CHEAPER COSTS. It's funny, because I was initially thinking of building my own dry sauna with Infrared heaters, but when so many companies manufacture them at fairly acceptable/reasonable costs, I thought I'd save myself the trouble which brought us to Clearlight in the first place. So we DID buy a competitor's product (same size, same features, etc.) and it was two-fifths the cost of the one we had wanted to get from Clearlight. PLUS the turn-around time from ordering to receiving was only 3 weeks. NOT five months like Clearlight. To add insult to injury, we even got an robo e-mail from the founder/"inventor" of Clearlight Saunas asking us to make a video to talk about how beneficial the sauna we HAD NOT YET RECEIVED was, for which we'd be "given" $75. Instead of cancelling our order with Clearlight immediately upon ordering the compeitor's product, I waited so that I knew we had something we liked. We love our new sauna which IS NOT from Clearlight. I called Frank to cancel our order. As always, I was very kind, upbeat, and positive. He asked why I was cancelling. I told him that it had been 5 months, and that I was able to order one from a competitor and it took 3 weeks. He asked what brand. Sensing a sales pitch coming as to how theirs are superior, I told him; "I could give you the name, but I don't desire to talk about a comparison of the two." He said; "fine," and HUNG UP. I called him back immediately, and in the same kind, upbeat, and positive manner I asked about our deposit, and if they could please send confirmation of the order being cancelled and that we would receive our deposit back. If you have read the entirety of this review, I figure that you either A) work for the company, or B) like myself like to get a better perspective about a business before deciding to use them or buy from them. My advice? POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WARNING I bought a house that came with a Clearlight infrared sauna. The two front panels did not work, and the temperature barely hit 110, so I called the 1-800 # to find out how to get the sauna serviced. I explained that I was the new owner and would gladly pay for a service call and parts Three calls, three explanations, three times ghosted. No return call. I look at this beautiful sauna and shake my head. Today, I went to the website and texted customer service. The text back said they can't even find my name and number in the system. That stinks. The text told me what the customer service department SHOULD have said and done. (As if that helps fix my issue?) After going back and forth and asking, "Can you help me or not?", the texter referred me to a 3rd party vendor and wished me good luck. So that earns another star. I live in the North East and ordered my outdoor sanctuary 5 about three months ago and got a few friends to help me set it up next to my enclosed hot tub. The buying experience was great - thanks to my rep Steve W. It came in two shrink wrapped pallets and extremely well packaged. A challenging part of the setup was bringing the panels around the back of the house. We used a lawn tractor and cart to make it easier as each panel is 150-200 lbs. It took three of us about 90 minutes to get it set up, carefully maneuvering each panel into locking place. Breaking down and discarding the cardboard and styrofoam packaging along with the plywood and pallets took a bit longer. The electrician came the next day and in an hour had us up and running. My next project took a bit more time as I ordered privacy vinyl from amazon that is a cut, wet and stick on the inside of the glass application. Doing that gave me a privacy factor that was well worth the effort and much to my surprise holds up great under 140 degree sauna temperatures. The experience: In the past 3 months, I've used the sauna about three times per week. It takes about 30 minutes to heat up to 135 degrees in 60 degree weather and 60 minutes to heat up in 32 degree weather. It's been an awesome experience and I find its therapeutic value different from my hot tub but equally gratifying. The sauna is a great place to do stretching and or iPad instructional based meditation (or music) which I have found immensely beneficial in my busy work and family life. We bought the clearlight sanctuary 2. It came with one of the main heaters defective (won't turn on) we swapped them to ensure it's the heater and not the wiring. Trying to reach service is impossible, to date no one has emailed, texted or called back regarding the defective heater. We have attempted calling them multiple times but every time we get the usual "everyone is busy and you should get a call back within 72 hours." It's now been 6 days and still not one person has bothered to reach out to say a word Extremely disappointed in this company. Hello, We are requesting an on-site technician be dispatched to our home to repair our brand new Clearlight spa ASAP- Sauna not working! I called Clearlight on Friday for technical support and did receive a call back from Lucas within the hour, but I was unable to answer due to a business/client call I had underway. I called Lucas back on the number he provided in his voice message, and awaited his return call back; I received no return call. I called Lucas back again a little over an hour later, after collecting some additional observations and even some video and photos from on my phone and leaving details on his voice mail; still no return call. We are aware that Clearlight is a west coast company so thought that a return call would surely come that late afternoon or evening due to PST zone, but we never did receive any return call. Nor did we on Saturday and still have no received a return call to offer technical support on our brand new spa. My wife and I purchased this 5 person Clearlight outdoor Infrared Sauna. We chose Clearlight because of being advised by several doctors and individuals that this Clearlight was the ultimate brand. Although it included a premium cost, we were comfortable paying more for a quality product. My wife currently has multiple health diagnoses. We need it TODAY full functional. In the end we ended up waiting 8+ months from the time the order was placed (and payment provided in full) . We even opted to pay an extra $1K to have it arrive a month earlier. Our 5 person outdoor spa was delivered on a rainy day and simply dropped in the middle of our drive-way halfway stacked on top of one another while we were away. When we returned home, we could not even get in our driveway due to all the boxes in the middle of the entrance! The rain obviously weakened the cardboard making it nearly impossible to move each of the large and heavy boxes, to a dryer area until we could begin assembly. Once the assembly began, we then found the top panel on top of the exterior of the spa, that has the hinged door; was broken in multiple locations. Multiple hinges were completed broken and therefore offering zero functionality. We opted to continue installation and simply install the final roof panel which covers this hinged door under it; out of sight. We hired a professional electrician to come out and wire the external outlet. We provided him the electrical spec requirements AFTER having to call Clearlight and request where to find them; why would they not be included in the shipping information and/or owner's manual? The licensed electrician is one that we have employed several times before to provide both internal and external wiring needs for our home. The wiring was completed last Friday; June 16. We plugged the spa in, turned the power on and all appeared to function properly. It was only after he left that my wife went to use the spa for the first time that we encountered the multiple issues that completely prevents ANY use of the spa. The spa will power up and all options on the interior control panel functions properly. The remote control works and will power up the spa too. Both infrared heaters power up and both "elements" in each one glow. However after only 5, sometimes 10, sometimes 12 minutes, the spa will completely shut down the heaters and the control panels will go dark, BUT the interior overhead lights remain on. You cannot manually power on the control panel or use the remote; you have to wait 1-3 minutes and then you can power it back on; or wait and it will reset and cycle back on. I tried to see if there was specific time period before this occurred and there seems to be no pattern. There also does not seem to be any pattern of it reaching a certain temperature and then going dead/resetting ---- I have watched it power down at various temps from 110F up 140. read more

I bought the Sanctuary 1. I was told it would take 2 people 90 minutes to assemble. It took 2 of us almost 5 hours to put together and we are both well versed at assembling things. So far I do like it but I haven't gotten the temp over 125 degrees and even that takes at least 40 minutes to warm to. Don't fall for the free aromatherapy holder- total piece of crap. BUYER BEWARE. I had researched saunas extensively before landing on the Clearlight Infrared Sauna. Part of the reason I decided on this sauna was also the app to start it remotely, as it takes 45 minutes or so to warm up, so I use the app to get it started while I am out on the mountain or in meetings so it's ready when I can use it. This was a value add for me, so if it is for you too, keep reading.... For the amount of money you pay for these saunas their customer service is HORRIFIC. Absolutely horrific. My app to control the sauna worked great from Dec 2020 until Dec 2021 at which time it just stopped working. I repeated the setup instructions I had received, and then I researched all over the internet and forums to get it working again, following all the instructions I found. I don't normally write these types of reviews but have been so disappointed with my interactions with them that I feel the need to. Save yourself the time and effort and go with someone else. There are tons of infrared sauna options on the market and this company just doesn't deserve your business if you are looking for good customer service after investing a fortune in their product. I've included my detailed notes below on my interactions with them, the timeline, and the person I worked with. I have now spent hours of my life on this with zero success. Also notice how they only respond to the positive google reviews, or if there is a negative one they say "we have no record of you contacting our service department". I have saved every single email and voicemail from this interaction so their is no way they can say the same for me. April 3, 2022 - reached out to customer support, received general instructions for troubleshooting the app from Arrevia April 4, 2022 - responded back that I had tried all of these troubleshooting steps to no avail. No response April 4th - April 18th - I emailed every single day with no response. Arrevia finally got fed up with my repeated emails and told me she cannot help me and that she has referred my case to technical support April 9, 2022- contacted Arrevia b/c I hadn't heard anything back from the tech support team April 12, 2022 - same thing, contacted Arrevia. Finally she gave me the email for Kaden directly April 14, 2022 - Kaden finally called me after I emailed him repeatedly throughout the day to get a response. Said he is overnighting me an android tablet to conduct "wifi spoofing" to fix the app April 18, 2022 - reached out to Kaden b/c I had't received the android tablet. He let me know there was a mixup in the warehouse and they were sending overnight again April 27, 2022 - received the tablet and let Kaden know it had arrived and I would like to schedule time to walk through the "wifi spoofing". No response May 2, 2022 - same reach out. No response. Emailed multiple times throughout the day and called repeatedly to leave voicemails May 3, 2022 - last email attempt to Kaden. Emailed Arrevia again letting her know I couldn't get ahold of Kaden, she let me know that Kaden is no longer with the company May 4, 2022- case gets assigned to Marc Kessman, Technical Support. Marc calls and leaves a voicemail and follows up with an email so I think I am getting somewhere. I write him back promptly to schedule time to discuss. No response May 5, 2022 - no response from Marc on additional reach outs May 13, 2022 - Samantha Jones, Technical Support reaches out, no idea where Marc went. May 16, 2022 - Samantha agrees to send me a replacement power supply for my sauna since that is where the wifi antennas are May 19, 2022 - confirms power supply has shipped May 20, 2022 - power supply delivered May 31, 2022 - I am finally able to replace the power supply in my sauna (not an easy process, btw). I followed all steps provided to setup the sauna in the app to the new android device after trying 5 different times. I request an on-site technician to help me June 2-9, 2022 - Samantha says no on-site technicians can help me and repeats the exact same instructions again. I have had zero success. read more

Terrible Service, I purchased the sauna and an infrared panel and later the Salt Theory. All of these items I could have purchased cheaper with better service, so why did I not do it? The Salt Theory is terrible and I told Becca, a rep of Clearlight, that they would get lawsuits from this one. When I received it, I made a mistake by inserting the little pod incorrectly. That could have been cleared up by the service dept with one call. I sent it back and they sent me another one which was really good, but never said you cannot use it in the sauna. I would have never purchased it, had I known. When I finally got it to working correctly, after the service dept sent me a better electric cable, it did not work in the sauna, it cut the sauna off completely after about 10 seconds. After several unsuccessful tries I finally sent the whole thing back. But they will not refund my money so there will be a lawsuit over this. False claims of free shipping and a bogus inventory of basswood saunas that would not materialize until end of February make this company almost feel like a scam if it weren't for all the 5 star reviews that I come across. I guess everyone has there own experience but mine felt like a case of bait and switch. When I contacted them there own literature clearly states "we'll even throw in FREE shipping" but when I was shown the invoice there was a charge for $425 for shipping. There reason was that every company who promises free shipping actually makes the customer pay for it in the total amount, it was just an accounting error that they had to show the separate charge for shipping on the invoice. This makes zero sense. When they provided the pricing of both the cedar and basswood models they neglected to inform me that the lower cost basswood models were not in stock, and wouldn't be available until late February. They only mentioned this fact at time of order. After about a week of working with them. Lucky for me, the sales lady says, the higher priced cedar model were in stock! Only 5 left, so she said, better order now. The whole experience felt like going to a gimmicky car dealership when the sales lady I was dealing with wrote an email saying "I spoke to my manager, and she agreed to give you an extra $100 off the cedar model, if you buy by end of November." I have been using the Clearlight sauna in my business for 9 months and this is what i think. Pros: The infrared technology is as good as the other top brands on the market. Cons: In 9 months I have had to replace the internal lights. The stripping that holds the glass in place is falling out. I have replaced both door hinges. The magnet that opens and closes the internal box has ceased to work. The construction of this $7,700 unit is not good especially when you compare it to the competitors. Warranty service IS NOT! I keep getting worthless promises that I'll get a call, but I don't. Today, one poor little girl was receptionist on all the extensions I tried. Same promise to pass it on. Nothing else she can do. Used to be a great company back when we bought in 2012. Sauna is still great physiotherapy aid, but both interior and exterior button panels have quit working, so can't turn it on. 12 days of "we'll contact you in 48-72 hours". I have been overall happy with the Clearlight sauna, but their customer service is HORRIBLE! I have a sauna that is under warranty and have had some issues with the sauna. The latch that holds down the ceiling, the wood on the bench is splitting and the backrest broke. I have sent them numerous emails and have only received a standard email saying they would get back to me in a few days. There is no number you can call to talk to an actual person. As much as I would love to recommend this sauna because I like the product, unfortunately, I don't because of the customer service. This is a big purchase and for them not to respond is not acceptable in my book! read more

We ordered the Clearlight IS-C infrared sauna. Choose this corner unit so we could both relax during use. It took 1 week from time of shipment to receive our sauna at our home. Very nicely packaged, no damage. Took us about 40 minutes (2 people) to assemble. Heats up quickly and very well! We love it and highly recommend Clearlight. I spent countless weeks researching saunas and talking to companies before finally choosing Clearlight. Absolutely gorgeous! It's our relaxing getaway. Skin is silky smooth after a few uses. Have had some detox symptoms that have been unpleasant so I definitely recommend starting out 20-35 min and work your way up. Hydrate and replace electrolytes! The service is so slow and it feels like we are getting nowhere in a timely manner. We have been trying for 2 months to get help as the sauna stopped working, only front heaters would get warm. We were sent two different parts (weeks apart) to mitigate the problem, but new parts were not compatible with the old parts they were supposed to replace. We asked for a service call, someone who can help us ...and silence......... The sauna is sold with a warranty which clearly means very little. read more

My one complaint in my original review had to do with air gaps around the door. I was able to fix the half the problem by adjusting the hinges and the magnetic door closure. That was not difficult, but I should not have had to do it. The other half of the fix was to apply some high quality duct tape around the hinges to block the considerable amount of air that was getting in that way. Now the sauna heats up in only 20 minutes and gets hot enough so that it's pretty hard to stay in there a full hour. I really like the sauna, it's too bad they didn't focus on the some of the details that would have given it a 5 star rating. read more

Love my Clearlight sauna! I ordered a Clearlight IS-C a few years ago and it is the best. We use it everyday and love what its done for us! My skin is fabulous and after having a baby my friends could not get over how fast I lost the baby weight. My husband uses it to help him sleep better at night...overall this sauna is amazing. We chose Clearlight because the heaters they use are the best. I tried numerous brands and eventually tried one of theirs in SF at a spa and was sold instantly. The heaters are warmer than the carbon ones and they don't have the burning hot areas like ceramic ones. Just a note about the other reviewer (Dawn), it sounds like she doesn't like anything...look at her other reviews! I love my sauna and the service I received was great. We got the sauna in 10 days just like they told us and we've been using it with no problems ever since. PS...My mom and a couple of friends have also ordered from Clearlight and have all been thrilled. read more

i bought the IS-2 sauna. i had (still have) an issue with the seal around the door. i called tech support multiple times 2 wks ago and still haven't received a return call or email. you cant adjust the door hinges which would have been a prudent design. i leveled the sauna to within a 1/32" with no affect on the gap. makes me wonder if the factory ever had a sealed fit. i spent a lot of $$$ on this product... you'd think they could return a call or send a message. read more

DO NOT BUY!!!! The entire purchasing process and dealing with Clearlight has been a complete nightmare. We purchased the Sauna with installation in June 2023. They said shipping wouldn't be until September 2023, which we were okay with. We didn't receive the shipping information until we followed up multiple times, and finally, the sauna was delivered in late October. We then set up the installation appointment which took another two weeks. When the installers arrived in mid-November, after opening the first package, they saw the back panel damaged, so we had to file a report and wait for a new back panel to ship and deliver. The back panel was shipped damaged. They sent you a photo of the package as it shipped, and you can see the hole in the outside of the boxes and packaging. That took another month of us following up extensively to get an answer on when/if they are going to send out a new one. The new back panel was shipped and finally delivered the week before Christmas, and we reached out to the first installers, who told us we had to return to the company to schedule the installation. Fast forward another month for the installation appointment. The second installers were finally able to put the sauna together but would not take the broken panel or the packaging from the broken panel. The broken panel is 8 feet x 5 feet so now we are stuck with this large panel sitting in our space and shipping crates. We haven't even had a chance to use the sauna yet, so who knows what that will look like? I would be highly cautious not to buy and not expect anything expedited or any urgency from Clear Light. read more

Prepare to be disappointed if you choose this company. They will not be transparent about inventory availability and their focus is up-selling you to get the best commission. I was working with Steve and Allison. I got right to the point of pulling the trigger, and oh, no inventory for several months! Don't waste your time. Radiant Health also has very low EMF and their price point is better. Also the Sunlighten Far-IR is a good choice at a better price. I do not write reviews very often but I feel compelled to share my experience with Clearlight Infrared Saunas because I have been so amazed and impressed by their responsiveness and help over the past couple years of owning our infrared sauna. We bought our Clearlight Infrared Sauna in February 2018 and we have absolutely loved it!! It has been incredible for my wife's physical pain that she has struggled with for years. We have used it almost daily and love how it has helped improve our physical and mental health. The quality of the materials and finishes are outstanding. The sauna alone deserved writing a 5-star review but I did not feel compelled to write this until now because of my experience with their customer service. We have had two experiences while owning the sauna where something has gone wrong and when I emailed their customer service, they have responded immediately and supportively. Both times they ordered replacement parts and shipped them to us at no cost. The most recent experience was of no fault of the sauna but rather error on our part. While moving to a new house the box with the hardware parts for the sauna was lost during the move. The customer service representative, Lucas, was understanding and overly gracious to send us the replacement hardware parts immediately at no cost. I have not worked with many companies that have gone this far above and beyond my expectations. I have recommended Clearlight Infrared Saunas to several family and friends and would strongly encourage you, if you are in the market for a new sauna, to buy from them! Even though I had to wait several months, the delivery was exactly on the committed schedule. The sauna came on a pallet about the size of the finished sauna, but was in 5 large boxes that had to be unpacked and assembled. This required 3 people. Would have been nicer if they assembled it for me, then put the assembled sauna on the pallet. The product is beautiful as it should be for the price. 5 stars. This is not just a review of my Clearlight Sauna but also of the company I went through to purchase it, Heal With Heat. An infrared Sauna is not a luxury in our home. I have several very serious health issues and for me, a full spectrum infrared Sauna impacts the quality of my day to day existence, and is potentially life extending. Previously I'd used a different companies full spectrum Sauna at a nearby spa, but that became unavailable to me several months ago. But I know the benefits of using it and so do my physicians. One of my most serious health issues is high blood potassium levels and because of other illnesses I can't take either of the two meds which help lower it. I can't use regular dry or steam saunas because of their extreme heat. An infrared Sauna heats the body and therefore works at a much lower temperature. They also create much more sweat than either of the other two kinds of saunas. By sweating out potassium I not only can control my blood potassium levels, I have actually lowered them. As of my last blood tests I am now in the normal range for the first time in over 5 years!!!!! I discovered there are several companies authorized to sell Clearlight Saunas and I couldn't be happier that I went with Heal With Heat. Jackie and Derek, the owners, know this product inside and out. They know how to explain the complex science behind Full Spectrum Infrared in ways any lay person will understand. From my first phone call to the delivery and installation (I hired their installer Eduardo and it was money well spent) either Derek or Jackie held my hand through the process. They returned every phone call. They answered every email. I'm especially grateful for their understanding of my serious medical issues which might have put off other companies, but Jackie and Derek took them in stride. I've had my sauna from Clearlight for 2 years now and thought it was time for another review. I am extremely thankful that I own this infrared sauna, my blood pressure is better than just normal. I've turned to using my time in the sauna for meditation and similar reflections that have improved my headspace and even as a senior, returned to working out with weight bearing exercise because I feel so much better after use. The company has been extremely helpful anytime I had a question or an issue. The great warranty on residential saunas was one of the reasons I picked this company. The only reason they are getting 2 stars is because the infrared sauna has great benefits. Clearlight as a business however, has HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We assembled our sauna and 2 weeks later the side panel almost caught on fire and it took them 6 weeks or more to rectify the situation. Meanwhile, I had thousands of dollars invested in a product I could not use. This company is in California and we live in Oklahoma, they have ZERO IDEA how to service customers from out of state. This was unacceptable for the money people invest in their product. Now, less than a year later, my red light therapy tower has decided not to work. I called to find out how to get it serviced and they told me it would be 48-72 hours before they can grace me with a returned call. So once again I have a very expensive piece of equipment I can not use for who knows how long this time. Very disappointed. Went with Clearlight because of the Jacuzzi name behind them, my mistake. read more
