Over the years, they've always done their best to care for my pets, my family. During this plague, all of them have busted their tails, been understanding when we are not, and shared honest opinions, even when it may not be what I wanted to hear, I need that honesty. With a great mix of veteran doctors and well-spoken veterinarians that are getting years under their belts, I trust them, implicitly. They don't give up, and neither do I. Remember, the doctors and technicians themselves can't make miracles happen. It takes a great owner to go the extra miles. Two dogs over a 15 year period. The only time something serious needed to be dealt with, we were referred away. There are several Veterinarians at the clinic and you get whomever they decide can be bothered on that particular day. Cash only, on the spot. We finally quit going after making a routine appointment for vaccine renewals. Their Covid policy is to leave their patients in the parking lot, animal only to be retrieved by an employee, NO DISCUSSION WITH THE DOCTOR ALLOWED, phone in from the parking lot. That might work if they bothered to answer the phone, or checked the parking lot. After waiting in the rain 30 minutes after our appointment, a half a dozen voice mails and not even an acknowledgement of our existence by the moon suited, roving employee, we have ended our relationship with these quacks. read more

We gave them a second chance but both drs would not even return our calls. We will find another vet but this time in MD what a shame. Nice thing we made and have way more than when we were short. Nice to know when you really need help those that say they will be there won't be. We will probably move in 2 years or less things have changed way to much for us. We love our home but our neighbors have changed or horribly things that we see happening is just awful we do have some wonderful people that our neighbors but things are just awful. How about spending thousands at vets office and can not even get a call back. read more

We took our pup to Clearview since we were looking for a regular vet. I was pretty pleased with the experience. I read their good online reviews from other owners and saw that they had some of the most reasonable fees for routine care. The front desk was helpful with scheduling though a little pushy when we arrived. The techs were very kind and friendly to us. And the vet was great. She gave helpful and accurate information and didn't push any procedures or medications. I think we will return if we ever had any emergent issues and for routine care. read more

Have used Clearview for 20 years with 12 cats and 4 dogs. Excellent care, reasonable prices. specifically 1) quality of vets excellent. I have my favorites but would go to any of them 2) techs are skilled, kind and nice 3) sick pet and emergency pet visits are available daily, additional cost but worth it 4) they now have competitively priced RX and I find better prices with them than online PetMeds or the like 5) They don't try to oversell blood tests, etc. 6) Offices and waiting room clean (with the occasional furball....) 7) Pet records and reminders are on line Still there, with 1 dog and 3 cats. read more

If I could rate zero stars I would. The office manager, Lisa is rude, argumentative and has no issue with overcharging for services not performed. They are also completely negligent with prescribing medicine. Our dog received a cancer diagnosis, yet no one told us that he should no longer be on his allergy medication because it could cause the cancer to come back. Run away from this place if you care about your pet, because they don't! read more

We have been going here for 20 years. Spent a lot money on them. The place is really going down hill . Can't even get a Tech appointment. They wanted us to get an after hours appointment. Wait times for your appointments are always late. Receptionists are rude. We have five cats and get better service from vets we never went to before. What a shame . read more

Recently we had an emergency concerning our Boston Terrier and luckily we took him to Clearview Animal Hospital. We first thought he had an reaction to a shot, but later found out about his condition Brachycephalic Airway Obstruction Syndrome (BAOS). Luckily the doctor knew the symptoms and helped him in his near-death experience. We are grateful that our pet is still with us, thanks to Dr. Shank and their staff. read more

I have been going here for years. My parents bring our boxers here. My boyfriend and I just got a new puppy and brought her here to be checked out. The service was HORRIBLE!!! The vets name that came in to check out the puppy was such a rude snobby person. She acted like it was a bother to help us and she treated our puppy just she was just annoying. This vet is beyond expensive as well. I would not recommend anyone who has a large breed dog to have their pet viewed by Crystal. read more

I've been going here almost a year, I had an emergency a year ago. It was the evening time and 3 other vets turned me away. Clearview stayed later and helped me out with reasonable pricing. I was sold from that point. Not 2 cats and 2 dogs later they are my primary vet. They're reasonable and the level of care is awesome. I couldn't ask for more! They've always accommodated me and my pets, the waits can be long but I know it's because they are also providing excellent care to others so I don't mind. read more

I was very disappointed when I called to try to fit my sick kitten in (due to my vet being out of the office). All though I understand it is summer and vets are busy, they would not work with me at all. I would not recommend this location to anyone with a pet or anyone in need of getting an ill pet in for a quick visit. read more

EVERY time we have an appointment, we have to wait at least 30-45 minutes PAST our scheduled time to been seen. We've been coming to Cleaview AH for over 30 years with ALL our pets, and this situation continues to get worse instead of better. I get that emergencies happen, but I don't believe they happen every time we have a scheduled appointment. read more

I started going in 2010, and they diagnosed and worked with me for care of a dog with high respiratory issues. They took my position into consideration and adjusted my dogs meds based on past successes. To this day, my dog is healthy and managing well with a cocktail of medications and frequent checkups. Clearview's staff is friendly and really cares about your pets. They explain options to you so that an informed decision can be made. The only negative...and that is small, is that you are not aware of the cost of your visit until you go to the counter. A better way of telling patient about cost during consultations and recommendations would be helpful. Other than that, they are a full service facility that I would highly recommend. read more
