This is the most frustrating task for me because I am also learning English, and it's difficult for me to explain things. However, reaching the reception is nearly impossible. If you get through to the contact line, they keep redirecting you, and you have to repeat the same question multiple times. They say they'll call you back, but in reality, no one ever does, and you'll have to call many times yourself to finally get through. They have numerous phone numbers, but none of them will answer or call you back. If you need to get glasses through insurance, be prepared to wait more than a month. The assistants from the general contact center will tell you that they'll pass the information to the reception, but don't count on it. You'll have to call and explain everything again. My mother had an appointment, and the doctor prescribed her certain eye drops for eye pressure. However, when we went to the pharmacy to pick them up, it turned out they had mistakenly prescribed her drops that are only meant to be used after surgery.

Nightmare experience. Their reviews speak volumes. Scheduled this months in advance. Theyre a MESS…read moresuper disorganized and very poor care. Waited months for topography only for them to not have a functioning machine. Girl up front said i didnt need dilating but then when they brought me back they claimed id have to reschedule if i was refusing dilation. I had no one to drive me bc they did NOT provide advanced notice!!! Dilation was for nothing as they missed something on my retina that another optometrist caught from a non dilation retinal scan. Poor service awful communication. Waited months for nothing as they couldn't properly re evaluate my keratoconus anyway and the shitty dr claimed his keratometry was sufficient in evaluating (FALSE). Lastly they failed to provide me my script which is illegal. NIGHTMARE. RUN.

The woman with the thick black eyeliner is a real piece of work and super rude. She was incredibly rude to my father on several occasions and even refused to let him see the doctor since he was late by a few minutes despite the fact that he had a hard time finding parking and due to the fact that he has a hard time walking because of a disability. Maybe if they hadn't taken away client parking then maybe people wouldn't have such a hard time getting to their appointments.

I went in person on a Saturday 2/1/20 to pay for it with my credit card. There was a young bilingual korean man (in his 30s) who took care of it. He gave me a small printed receipt not a formal one. I get another statement a few months later (the same bill) saying "2nd statement, please pay bill". I call the office during the week to talk to the billing person. I speak with an older lady and tell her that I've already paid this and I can show her my bank statement but I unfortunately do not have the receipt. I said I can come to the office and show it to her or email her, She said that's ok. She said the reason it wasn't recorded was because it was a Saturday and the billing person is not there Saturday and the young man did not record it correctly. Now 9 months later, I get another bill saying "3rd (last) statement. Please, make a payment." I don't really think they're trying get more money from me than necessary but this shows a lack of organization and unnecessary trouble for their issue with bookkeeping. Below is my bank statement. Now stop bothering me. As much as Dr. Ed is a great MD, I won't come again. If you're going to pay, never pay on a Saturday.

Doctor was very passionate and it was easier than I thought. I was told it would take 1.5 hours. First 45 min is really just checkin and taking some pill to calm my nerves. Actual operation was a like a few min per eye just to do setup. The only scary part was that when you do the surgery you don't see anything for like 7 seconds. Recovery was easy. I did the surgery in the late afternoon. I went on a booze cruise the next day. Had sunglasses of course but it was pretty awesome. Now it's 2026 and finally now that I'm older I am starting to get some vision issues in my left eye which is my problem eye.

Then, approximately when I turned 35, I couldn't seen as well. This was confirmed by an optometrist during an appointment. So, I'm back to wearing contacts and glasses. I have decided not to get LASIK again because LASIK reduces your eye moistness. My eyes used to be super moist before LASIK. Now, they're just "average" in moisture. I don't want to risk another surgery and also encourage other possible complications. It was nice having clear vision while it lasted. I just wished it lasted more than 6 years, but I'm very grateful to have not had any complications and since I've spent more time using glasses/contacts longer than having perfect vision with LASIK, it's like slipping into an old shoe that you've worn many times before.
