Grant has come out two times . He did a professional job and gave great tips on safety. I would recommend.

THANK YOU FELLOW YELPERS for leading me here. Excellent service and good prices. Gave me a time…read moreframe and lived up to it. Wouldn't have come here if it wasn't for the "real" reviews on YELP.

READ ME!!!!!! If you…read morearen't prepared for an in depth honest review, turn back now. I wanted to write this review as soon as I got home so that I am able to recall the experience vividly. I chose this company because they had 5 stars across the board when I initially googled them. As of this writing the only negative reviews are two laughable ones that are from one person who hasn't even been to the store and the other from someone who didn't provide an explanation which I've learned is the mark of an unreliable source, competitor, etc. Knowing this I thought I had a good chance of having a pleasant experience by visiting this establishment. Boy was I more than right. BACKGROUND INFO: Like many others I have been to MANY different car audio businesses, and have been screwed over and left extremely unhappy, and sometimes even livid upon my leave. The very last establishment I went to did good work, but customer service wise was complete garbage (Yes it matters, and really dampens the experience. If you don't understand what I mean, you have not been to enough establishments). Like any person, I am constantly on the lookout for the be-all-end-all type of place. Ya know what I mean? The type of place you take your car because the mechanic is an honest guy who will never steer you wrong, or the type of place you drop your kids off at knowing they won't be mistreated, or even dropping off your beloved dog, cat, etc. The point is you want to rest assured that you will be taken care of and that your good hard earned money is well spent. This place will provide you with that level of confidence and that blissful feeling of being taken care of and maintains a sense of honesty and trust. THE ACTUAL EXPERIENCE: Knowing what you know now: that I have been to many different establishments with negative results, that I want to finally put an end to hopping from business to business, and unnecessarily wasting thousands of dollars (Yes, THOUSANDS). You can imagine I am a skeptic walking through the door, even with the great reviews. I walk in and the person I spoke to, who I also booked my appointment with named Luke was speaking with a customer. He graciously came over to take care of me, knowing I had an appointment rather than leaving me waiting or ignoring me all together. My initial impressions are that he was kind, and seemingly eager to help me. We walked out and looked at my vehicle and he introduced me to Jacob who would be personally working on my vehicle. My impressions of Jacob were equally good. He seemed very knowledgeable, and you can immediately tell he knows what he is doing and what he is talking about (What a relief!). Not only does he have the knowledge, but he has a sense of care regarding what I actually want to achieve. He listened to every one of my concerns and answered all of my questions, which you can be sure I bombarded him with (Don't forget I have been through a long line of getting screwed at this point). He was never impatient or annoyed, he was extremely willing to help me, which really makes the experience 10x better. I expected the work to take the entire day, and I arrived when they opened. However, it took a few hours including my long string of questions and concerns. I also spoke to Luke more and he ALSO answered a bunch of questions and concerns I had. Some of which, were completely unrelated to the work I was getting done. Talk about above and beyond service. To end this off, I drove away smiling ear to ear and felt extremely overjoyed at the sheer pleasantness of the experience. I would go as far as saying that this may be the most pleasant experience I have EVER had in regards to getting a service done. That includes anything from the dentist, doctor's office, oil change, etc. etc. Simply because Luke and Jacob are incredible guys, that make me feel extremely confident, comfortable, and beyond content. I honestly am so pleased with them, I wish I had 1000s to just throw away and have them work on my vehicle. The length of the review speaks for itself. I am a customer FOR LIFE.

The man is honest, efficient, reliable and reasonable…read more Let me tell you my story: Art's establishment is on a street that is almost directly across from Rentz of Clearwater. And it was Rentz of Clearwater that drove me to Art's - but only out of sheer desperation. I needed a trailer hitch to pull a U-Haul containing my belongings and some furniture from my winter vacation condo in Clearwater back to my home in Canada. Rentz pretty much has the corner on the local hitch market. My vehicle is a Lexus. As with most north-based cars (even relatively new models), this means the underside can become quite rust-coated. Winter snow and the application of road salt play havoc with the surfaces of exposed metal. I visited Rentz in late February (after making an appointment and ensuring that the required Curt hitch was in stock). To Jake Siewruk, a member of the owning family, I gave instructions to proceed with the work. The vehicle was driven into the shop. My wait was brief. Jake informed me that it was impossible to install the hitch. He told me the existing bolts in the Lexus frame were completely rusted. Even the threads were unusable. Worst of all, he told me there was no fix for the problem. This was distressing news. The U-Haul I required desperately. It was the only way to move my belongings north at a reasonable cost while allowing me to feel confident they would not be damaged while in transit. Even more important, I wanted to take my possessions through Canada Customs in person. If I used a cartage company, the Canada Border Services Agency (as it is called) would treat them as "unaccompanied goods." This would result in a host of customs and excise complications, with which I will not engage you here. (If I described them, you would be in tears.) Finally, after much worry and distress, I concluded Art's Auto had to be the answer to my hitch difficulty. I had used him many times in the past and found him always to be the very soul of honesty, experience and reliability. So I made an appointment and took my car to him. Upon arrival, I outlined the rust concern as it had been outlined to me by Jake Siewruk at Rentz. Art's response was a great relief: "That shouldn't be an issue." He raised my car on the hoist and started work immediately. Luckily, I was able to observe the entire installation process as he toiled. Surprise! The removable bolts in the car's frame came loose without problems - admittedly after much torquing by Art. And there was not a mark of rust to be seen on them. Likewise, the threads in the boltholes were as clean and sharp as the day they were manufactured. It was obvious: The Rentz technician had not even tried to remove them. After Art's installation was completed, I found his fee to be more than reasonable. More important, I felt enormous relief leaving his garage knowing my hitch was now in place - firm, secure and safe. What should we conclude about Art's Auto vs. Rentz? I suppose the difference is honesty. There is no other way to say it. Jake Siewruk of Rentz had told me an elaborate lie. When I confronted him about it later, he claimed it was a safety issue. But Art had installed the Curt hitch exactly as detailed in the instructions that came with it, using the supplied bolts and washers. What safety issue? The moral of the story? If you need honest, reliable repair work on a car in Clearwater, use Art's Auto on Sherwood St. If you decide to use Rentz, be very, very careful. Despite its prominence in the world of trailer hitches, the owners are quite willing to give erroneous and harmful information to their clients if it helps to boost profits. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I called and scheduled an appointment. When I drove in I waited about 10 minutes and the oil was…read morechanged, tires rotated and fixed windshield washer pump. All of this was done at a very reasonable price. Art and his team are professionals and I will be recommending this place to family and friends.
