Managers/owners who have absolutely no desire to satisfy customers can really ruin an otherwise enjoyable experience. That's exactly what happened here. They decided to come up with arbitrary rules to try to make our party spend more money than agreed upon initially and then did nothing to try to remedy the situation and didn't even apologize. The campgrounds themselves aren't terrible, though nothing special. An employee on a golf cart kept flying by kicking dust our way. The pool is nothing to write home about. It is FAR from heated like their website claims. The water was actually pretty freezing. Under the big slide they have outdoor carpeting over wood that clearly has something growing on/under it because its so slippery that we had just arrived and were walking slowly to try to find chairs and my son fell flat on his back as soon as he stepped on it. TONS of unsupervised kids. Like seriously. I know this is not necessarily the fault of the staff, but someone could have at least tried to enforce the "kids 5 and younger only" rule on the little baby turtle slide. Some huge kid kept whacking the little kids with a water noodle as they were trying to slide until I asked him where his parents were. The bathroom by the pool was pretty nasty. It smelled awful outside it and the stalls are beyond tiny. I would never pay full price to get into this pool ($10.50). Not worth it. Thought we might do the gem panning but that was $9.50 too. A little pricy in my book. Mini golf is $5.50 for adults and $4.50 for kids. If you're bringing multiple kids, this is far from a low budget outing. Luckily, all the kids with us had no clue there were issues, so they had fun. But all the adults were left with a bad taste in their mouths. I just can't get over the total lack of customer service. Uncalled for and really kind of silly this day in age when there are so many other options and so many ways for me to share my disgust with others. We live in a Yelp age, people! At least attempt to work with your customers rather than resort to name-calling and yelling. read more

We looked this place up on Google and I'm so happy I didn't look it up on yelp 1st, based on these other reviews I would prevent my 5 kids an experience of a life time. I would give these guys 10 stars if there was an option! We were coming back from a road trip to Canada and I found this amazing Jellystone on our rout back home. Matt from the office was AMAZING with acomadating our needs. He checked and double checked and called me back multiple times to make sure all my questions were answered. The place was VERY WELL taken care of. Everything was very clean. The people that operate this place were so accommodating, so friendly and helpful. My kids have been at other Yogibear locations before but all of my kids said that this one is the best by a million. The pool is amazing and the play ground is very large with lots to do for the little once. The mini golf was very nice. The 1 thing I didn't like so much is that in this location, they didn't have rainy day activity or very little activites at all. Would come here again and recommend for sure, great place for 2yars old through adult.! read more

Had a fun day here Friday! We mostly just lounged on the chaise lounges under the giant umbrellas but it was relaxing and that's pretty much all we wanted. We did swim a little bit. The water was SO cold! The consession stand has your basic snacks (hot dogs, burgers, pizza, nachos, ice cream). The bathroom was the worst part of this park. The stalls are so tiny, I could barely get the door closed and I'm not nearly as large as some of the women I saw swimming so I'm not sure how they managed to relieve themselves. The floor of the bathroom is tile and gets very slick when little wet feet traips in and out all day so be careful not to fall! There are also a couple showers in there for anyone who needs to rinse off. There are no changing rooms but a changing area so if you're not shy, I suppose you could change into dry clothes when you're ready to leave. Overall, it was a good experience. read more

The prices are okay BUT the breaks are terrible! I've never been to a park that had so many breaks! And the breaks a long! Customer service was terrible also. Then some how a lifeguard got hurt while sitting in her chair. So that shut down the pool for over an hour.. needless to say I wasn't impressed and I'm not coming back. read more

Clearwater is a staple of the area and has really upgraded the last couple years. Huge Pool with waterslide, great mini golf course, playgrounds, pedal carts, gem panning, great food and home made ice cream. A great place to camp or stop for the day. read more

Took my kids here multiple times throughout the summer and had a great time for the most part! The park is generally clean other than some expected bugs and other outdoor debris in the pool. I alerted one of the lifeguards of a build up of bugs and dirt on the edge of the pool and she sincerely apologized and even cleaned it up while on her break. The deck of the pool could use some work. My daughter got splinters on both of her feet and the same lifeguard that cleaned the pool (I believe she said her name was Janice) helped me remove them. She had my daughter laughing the whole time, she barely even noticed when the splinters came out. The other lifeguards rock too! My son LOVES when the one male guard is there (I didn't get his name) but from what I heard from my kids, he makes following the rules sound like fun! The employees in the snack bar are very fast and so courteous, one of the girls even helped me carry some of my drinks back to where I was sitting. Excellent customer service at the park coming from the kids that work there. One downfall is that I wish management would take a lesson in customer service and being kind from the kids that work there (it's usually the other way around!) I don't usually write reviews but I felt like the employees here needed some praise! read more
