We had a wild storm and a bolt of lightning found its way through our home (and myself, but that's another story). Nearly everything in the house with a circuit board was fried, including the A/C unit, furnace, zone control boards, and the physical air conditioner's contactor. Literally blown up! I called at 8am and Logan showed up three hours later. Basically, everything was busted or malfunctioning. Left was right, up was down, hot was cold. This lightning did a number on us. Seeing this mess, Logan called in for backup from Pete, the owner with decades of experience. Pete made it his mission to "hack" our system to making A/C for the night. It didn't seem too difficult for him, but you could tell he wasn't leaving until our baby daughter had A/C in her room (it's July). The next day, the men showed up with the replacement parts and a few hours later, we were back up and running 100%. They documented everything wonderfully for our insurance claim and even took a ton of time to chat and give me tips for the house we're building right now. I'll definitely have Pete come in and make sure the next house is configured properly. They quoted me a price of over $900, I paid them $80 for the 10 minute service call/estimate. The plumber was very nice and professional, he showed up on time and wore a clean uniform. The lady I spoke to on the phone was nice and explained there would be an $80 charge whether work was done or not. The price for the work seemed to high, so I declined to have them do the work. I called another licensed Master plumber, he came out for no charge and quoted me the exact same work for $275. So, in the end I think Southwest offers great customer service, but their prices are extremely high. I can't say if they do good work, because I didn't use them.
