Requested service repair for faulty water heater THEY installed and was told they had steady customers to take care of and would call me when an appointment became available. I'd like to give them ZERO stars! Where do I start, well their work estimate was off 500% and they didn't complete everything that was on the estimate. Their work was poor as we our kitchen drain pipe was leaking after they "fixed" the plumbing. They cut off pipes and never reconnected them so we have a bathroom without water, oh wait since there isn't water it really isn't a bathroom anymore is it. They charged us $125.00 an hour for a helper, that is plain robbery! I would never use them and NEVER recommend anyone use their high priced poor quality service. read more

Great Customer Service! Friendly, on time and professional work. They have fixed toliets, repaired plumbing lines both copper and PVC, ran gas lines, etc for me. Never had any issues after they fixed and/or installed for us. I will be using their services again. read more

VERY EXPENSIVE AND DIDN'T FIX ANYTHING!!! They came and met with my tenant to snake the sewer drain. I got the bill and it was $850. They said they didn't bring a large enough snake and charged me to go back and get a different one. 1 month later the kitchen sink backed up. I called them again and they said they were there for 6 hours and the drain was clogged from galvanized pipes corroding. He said he snaked it and 5' down he "hit a wall". He couldn't figure out how to fix it because of the limitations of the crawl space. So he said he would think about how to fix it and call me back. They charged me $650 to DIAGNOSE the problem. Then they didn't call me back. I called a week later (all the while have no kitchen sink, laundry, or dish washer) and asked when they were going to fix it. They said they didn't really know, they had a plan but didn't know if it was going to work. They said the charge would be $235 an hour to TRY this and if all goes well it would take 3 hours. But still couldn't tell me if it would work. I called another plumber to look at it. This time I went there myself to watch them. He snaked the line that Cleek said was blocked. I watched him put a 40' snake down the pipe with no blockage. He went in my crawl and said there are no galvanized drain pipes only galvanized incoming pipes. He said there was NO WAY Cleek went in that crawl. The issue ended up being a frozen pvc drain pipe that had burst. We had to cut the floor to repair it. The plumber that fixed it did an amazing job and i haven't had problems since. Kevin was the plumbers name. Do not trust him! read more

Where to begin.... I've been in the trades for a good portion of my life (HVAC/plumbing being the lion's share of it), so i know the business that they're in pretty well. Unfortunately, a family friend did not. The readers digest version, A single woman called to have a sump pump replaced. Not a huge job by any stretch, and certainly not an expensive prospect...... .... enter Cleek..... $851.00 later (I'll give that a minute to sink in.... EIGHT HUNDRED AND FIFTY ONE HARD EARNED, AMERICAN DOLLARS), the new sump pump was installed. By "installed", I mean dropped into a bucket with 8, 1/4" holes drilled in the sides, shoved in the pit in the crawl space, with a check valve, 2 feet of 1 1/2" pvc, and then clamped onto the existing flexible hose that ran over to the sewer main on the far side of the crawl. Seems like a rip-off, right? Hang on... we've only just begun. So, for two solid days, this sump pump, in the shallowest "pit" known to man, would kick on for 5 seconds, kick off for 10 seconds, then back on again. Wash, rinse, repeat..... two straight days. Sensing that there might be a problem, the family friend called Cleek back, saying that there was something CLEARLY wrong with the pump. The nearest she could figure, the discharge hose was most likely no longer in the sewer main. Cleek's response? Unless there was a defective pump, this was not their problem.... and she would be on the like for $140.00 an hour, plus parts, to have someone come to investigate the problem. At this point I get the phone call, and down into the crawlspace I go. What do I find? About a half-a**ed of an install as you can imagine. To make up for the difference in the length of the old pump/piping pulled out, the "technichan" (dear GOD, do I shudder to apply that term in this case) had simply YANKED on the flexible hose, ripping it out of the drain stack, and pumping the water, about a gallon and a half at a time, STRAIGHT BACK INTO THE CRAWL SPACE. The "technician" (*shudder* there's that word again) Didn't even bother to check to make sure that the job was properly completed before taking his check and bolting out the door. ....oh yeah... and the old pump sitting right next to the new pump. I suppose for nearly 900 bucks, how could one expect them to go to the extra trouble of carrying the old part 5 feet for disposal. All that Cleek had indicated would have cost bare mimimum $140.00 more for them to come do... even though this was every INCH their fault. NOW... for all of the companies that I've worked for over the years, were I to come to your house and do this job....scratch that.... were I to have to drive 90 minutes to your house and DIDN'T LIKE YOU.... and your dog bit me..... would have run a MAXIMUM of $450 dollars.... and that job would INCLUDE running 30 feet of pvc, and hard piping the sump into the drain line PROPERLY. So.... in summary..... $851.00.....nothing fixed....more problems created by the ... I'm not even gonna say the "T" word... the hack who they sent to slam this thing in, and the basically get a "pay us more, or go pound sand" response from the girls at the desk when called to remedy the problem the company had themselves created. Why 1 star? Because this was the least i could possibly give them. If you have more money than sense, and really don't care about the job being done right, this company is for you.... ....otherwise, take your business somewhere else. FEAR THE BLACK VAN! read more

way too expensive. they charge $160.00 for the first hour, they also charge portal to portal (which means they charge from the moment they leave the shop until they return to their shop). the tech spent almost 30min on the phone, time i was being charged for...he did not fix my ac unit, but handed me a bill of $253.50 (only analyzing it) just to tell me that my "a coil" was leaking, it is under warranty however, (that was the good news) ,bad news is that labor & material are not covered under warranty. the tech estimated that it would take 4hrs labor, plus 5lbs of refridgerant @ $65/lb. , with the promise to return in about a week with a new "a coil" which he was confident that he could install for between $1200-1400. needless to say i hired a different contractor who was able to accomplish the job in less than 2hrs & at a fraction of cleek's estimate. i wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy!!! read more

I was quite surprised to read the other reviews as my experience has been just the opposite. Cleek has provided service for me for four years and I have full confidence in their work. They replaced my furnace and repaired defective plumbing plus installing a new dishwasher. While not the lowest price, I believe their work is very good. We have no hesitation to contact them when a problem arises. read more

I have been using this company for over 15+ years and I would NOT use another company around. This company is by far the most professional company in our area. Every time I call, I speak with a secretary in the office who relays my message to their technicians right away. They have rearranged their schedule to accommodate mine several times, which means a lot when I work 60+ hours a week. Their technicians are extremely knowledgeable and very efficient. I have been completely satisfied with them on every job I have had them do for my family.
