Still did not extend the post as promised. Third time he patched up some of the fence all while cutting a wire to my gazebo, that he said he didn't do . When they finally came back after waiting several months my fence is still leaning , concrete all over my yard, lose nails, boards not lining up and no repair to the cut wire. I reached out to him with no return call. Stay away from this company, different workers each time, and the quality is not worth the price you will have to pay.

While the wood treads and risers themselves are beautiful (the one positive), literally everything else about this project was a disaster and left in an unprofessional, incomplete state: * Exposed concrete and large sections of missing trim * Rough, uneven drywall cuts with unfinished edges everywhere * Multiple gaps around stringers and walls that were pointed out and never fixed * Significant damage to our freshly painted walls and paint overspray on floors and trim * Brand-new carpet ruined because no drop cloths, no protection whatsoever * Numerous areas left so incomplete that we had to hire a second contractor to finish and repair the staircase We were promised a good job but instead, the crew walked away leaving the job looking like a rough-in. Communication and accountability were just as bad. We repeatedly asked for issues to be corrected, and they argued and lacked accountability for damage they caused in the home. When we finally scheduled a final walk-through, the owner ignored my reply. Days later (after we had already said the job was unacceptable), he let himself into our home on a Friday and Saturday without permission and recorded video inside our private residence, claiming it was for "legal purposes." This was done without our knowledge or consent, which is not only highly unprofessional but a serious invasion of privacy (any legitimate attorney would have told him that). In the end, his unprofessional and aggressive behavior turned what should have been an exciting upgrade into a stressful, expensive nightmare. We are now out additional dollars to make the staircase safe and presentable so we can finally move into our own home. If you're considering Precision Stair Company, please think twice. Beautiful wood does not make up for shoddy installation, zero cleanup or protection, refusal to fix obvious defects, and behavior that made us feel unsafe in our own house.

He also emphasized that he was the "cheapest," which initially seemed like a benefit -- but unfortunately, the quality of work reflects that. The fence installation was not completed to a professional standard. There is inconsistent spacing between pickets, visible gaps in areas that were supposed to provide privacy, and multiple sections that appear patched together with random pieces instead of being installed cleanly and uniformly. There is also a significant gap under the fence that was never addressed, which should have been handled during installation. In addition, debris and trash were left behind outside the fence, and the job site was not cleaned up. Items that were discussed and agreed on -- including the top border trim -- were not completed. I was told these items would be finished and waited for a follow-up visit, but after most of the payment had already been made, the remaining work was not completed. When I raised concerns, communication became dismissive, and instead of addressing the quality issues, I was told to hire someone else. Overall, the work feels rushed and unfinished, and I will need to hire someone else to correct and complete it. If you're considering hiring, I strongly recommend confirming all details in writing, holding final payment until everything is fully completed, and closely reviewing the quality of work.
