About 13 years ago they replace my entire fence after Hurricane Ike. They did a great job. We had some recent storms come through (bad wind) and damaged my fence. Blake at Fencemaster scheduled a time to take measurements of my fence to provide a quote. When he arrived he saw that my back fence had lots of foliage and vines covering it - and he drove away and I never heard from him again. I tried several times to get in touch with him after I never received a quote after several days. I get that my fence will be a pain to remove (see pic) so I was anticipating paying a premium to have it removed or him tell me we would have to have yard guys clean it up first... but would have appreciated being told that and not just ignored. Very unprofessional and would never recommend this company to anyone. Business must be really good for them to turn their noses up at my project! Called for a rep to come out and give recommendations and pricing for a broken fence, to remove and replace 'not repair'. The lady on the phone first said 'let me see if I have a rep' and quickly moved to - ' well, you need to commit to a $1200 minimum, for the fence'. Wow - really? Very good, very happy. They have put in an fence before, but this time was for my gate. I could keep my original gate, they could make it work. The two cedar post were worn out, and they had replaced the posts, so I could keep my gate, and I was very happy with that. High quality, that they let me keep my gate, rather than tearing it down, and placing another gate. Not responsive. I had to call them. It took two weeks. I know that this was not their fault, that the rain kept them, when they work outside, but they should have called me, instead of me having to call. The lady who did the estimate was nice. Happy with the great job. One of the workers only spoke Spanish, and I do not speak Spanish very well. read more

I am currently working on a fence project worth about $20,000. I was referred to this company by my neighbor, whom I trust very much. After calling for more than a week with no return call, I've finally decided to seek another provider. I've been in sales my entire career, an I've ALWAYS maintained a 24hour rule as it pertains to returning a call. In my experience, a lack of focus this early in the relationship is indicative of the work to follow. During my last call I requested the owner to contact me. We got referred to Fencemaster through a community neighbor, we have the same type of house and liked their gates. So, I reached out to Blake at Fencemaster, he came over to assess the location and understand the needs (new driveway gate and walkway gate, new gate at the back where the fence is). Shortly I got a quote via email, which I found reasonable, and decided to go ahead. I didn't really check other vendors as the neighbor who referred Fencemaster was quite satisfied with their work and I really liked what they did for him. We agreed on the target completion dates for the project with Blake. There was some delay with the installation as it couldn't be done in one go (required multiple crews to complete certain steps of the process), however after some follow-ups with the vendor everything got scheduled alright, and the work was completed today. All crews who were involved were very polite and knowledgeable, I believe they did great. I am happy with my choice and would definitely recommend Fencemaster to do business with. read more

Had my driveway gate and fence installed in April of 2014. I had issues with the support post leaning and the gate dragging, they fixed it under the warranty and it started to lean again. I called back and had some issues getting someone to contact me and fix it because the second time it was "out of warranty" but they agreed because it was less than a year after the problem was fixed before. They came out and reset the post and it looks good so far. I actually just received a phone call and they said they would extend my warranty another 6 months to stand by their work. There were some issues but overall I am glad they wanted to make it right. read more

Fencemasters installed our fence and automatic gate in Oct 2014. In Oct 2015 we began experiencing problems with the Liftmaster dual gate opener. Fencemasters made 3 trips to our home in an effort to resolve the problem. Unable to find the reason for the malfunction, Fencemaster installed a completely new Liftmaster system. The quality of the installation exceeded the first installation. Very impressed with this company. read more

3 large sections of my fence are down from the strong winds as well as 2 other long sections that are about to fall over. I called and left a message I get a call tonight about 7:00 telling me that my job is too small and that they have a $2500.00 minimum. While I appreciate your not wasting my time (which is why I gave you 2 stars instead of one ) you haven't even seen my fence or even took the time to ask what it was I wanted done to replace/ repair ect. So I can not speak to the quality of their work only that they make erroneous assumptions and wont even come to bid your job unless it sounds like it's going to be $2500 before they will even come look and discuss things with you. We will probably decide to replace the entire fence or at least sections of it as there are several areas with issues....so will probably be a bigger job than they were anticipating. update 01/24/17 i just got my first bid and it was $4500 to $6500 depending on whether we do the repairs or replace the entire fence. I'll keep you posted on what the rest of them are in case this was an exceptionally high bid. read more
