Nothing special. Very expensive for a plain manicure with plain essie polish. It was $22 with tip included. There are other places on mamaroneck ave where I have paid $13 for a manicure with tip included. They also made one of my nails bleed. Like gushing blood. No apology and it was barely cleaned. Just got my mani and pedi here last Friday before a flight out and so far so good! I'm obsessive when it comes to nails and the smallest chip drives me insane. After a flight, lugging my carry on all around Chicago, and eating some of the messiest foods, my nails are still miraculously immaculate. Great service. As I was leaving to get up, one of the women noticed that I had closed toed shoes and had only been drying for 10 minutes. She went and got saran wrap for my toes to prevent smudging. I looked like a damn fool waddling with saran warp coming out of my flats but hey, I appreciate the thought! Two issues: parking is atrocious in White Plains and thus, around that area. How's a girl to get her nails did when the max meter parking time is an hour? There is no way any woman is going to get out of her seat mid dry to ruin her nails by putting in a quarter. Also, they are definitely overpriced. I paid nearly double what I normally pay at my favorite salon in Hoboken, same if not better quality. Great service but comes at a cost. read more

I went to Cleo Nails for the first time in early March for a gel manicure (my first time getting my nails done since before Covid). The experience was very pleasant and I felt extremely safe with the safety measures they have in place. A few days later large chunks of the gel polish were coming off (supposed to last at least 2 weeks). They nicely fixed the nails that were chipping free of charge and then 2 days after that the gel came fully off multiple nails! In all of the years I have gotten gel manicures this has never happened to me before. I won't be going there again. read more

So after being a regular customer for 2 years I have finally had it with this place. The own staff is racist towards some of the staff and it's really sad to see. My last visit with Jackie was so unpleasant, that was the last straw. The good news is I found out where Sherry works, she use to work at CLEO, and she does an amazing job with SNS manicures. I went to have a mani pedi and was expecting to pay the normal price that I am used to paying only to be told it is now $50. I was livid, I think there should be signs on the window stating that the prices have gone up and also inside on bright colored paper so it catches your attention. As a regular customer I am not going in to look on the board with the small print to see if the prices have changed. They have just lost a long time customer and am sure they will lose a lot more. I go here often, only because it is very convenient to where I live, but never find the service consistent- sometimes they have the massage chair in a regular pedicure and sometimes they don't, they also don't add cream and hand massage in a regular pedicure at times. What's most annoying is that they always want more tip and are never happy. Moreover they rush you to pick a color! I was trying to match a normal polish color to my gel color and one of them told me not to worry they will match it, but let me tell you it was such a bad match- one was light grey more towards the white and the other they picked was a dark grey more towards a black. I even told her that it is really very dark but she insisted that this is a perfect match and that I don't know how to match color. Last time my cousin and I went to the salon to look for Sherry and she wasn't there. I wanted to ask for her specifically but the manager wouldn't let Sherry do my nails because I didn't make a reservation. She did it amazing last time and I wanted her to do it again for my cousin and I. The next time I came Sherry was gone and I knew she had a lot of customers there but I don't know what happened. Some of the reviews were kind of bad so I hesitated to go but I had no choice to go where else I was in hurry. I didn't have any appointment just walked in there but employees were so nice to me and enjoyed my time there. Even though I just walked in there and they still understood that I was in hurry and took care of me really good in such rush. I loved the outcome (I did color gel) as well. Went to this place for the first time today because it's very close to where I work. I did not have an appointment and showed up at 5:30 PM. They took me right away and I had a lovely young lady who is not only sweet but very good. Their regular pedicure is something like $28 but their spa pedicure is $45. I opted for the spa because it included an amazing foot massage, leg mask and scrub, and razor removal of calluses. It was totally worth it! The salon is clean, relaxing, and very convenient. I'm not a regular here but from the few times I've been here I can tell you that their pedicures last 3-4 weeks and cost $28. Manicures are $12 which is pricier compared to other salons in White Plains that do the same or a better job. I've walked in each time that I've gone and never had to wait. I really like Cleo IV nails. Generally speaking, the girls are very detail oriented and most importantly...this establishment is clean! The instruments are disinfected in an auto-clave and I really appreciate the fact that a new nail file/buffer is used each time. Personally, I can only speak for their manis/pedis as I would never have waxing done in a nail salon, but the manis/pedis are well done and long-lasting. Cleo is a bit pricey and they do not finish their services with a massage (which would be really nice); however, I feel comfortable that I will not contract an infection from dirty implements here. While my previous statement should be an expectation, sadly with many nail salons cleanliness and sanitary procedures are not the rule of thumb. My current gf lives in the area and I like to get manicures before meeting her since my nails/hands are a mess after work (construction is hard work ya'll). I have stopped by Cleos a multiple times and I must say that it is one of the nicest nail salons. But I think they are very expensive compared to other salons in the area. And if I'm going to pay Fifth Avenue prices, then I should receive Saks like service. I would say the service I've received thus far is more along the lines of Kohl's instead of Saks. The technicians are nice but they are not as accommodating or attentive as I'd like. I just feel like they do the same job everyone else does but charge more because of the store setup. read more

Fantastic nail salon! I am very fussy with my nails because my mum is a nail tech and has been for over 25 yrs so I know my stuff when it comes to correct technique/cleanliness/professionalism. This sale has all of it. They are very sanitary with their stock and they are very polite and they also seem to know what they are doing and they have correct technique. I always come in for a gel manicure and it is very good. They take their time/don't rush you and they are polite! The price is $35 but I am very happy to pay this price. I've gone to this place on a few occasions and normally they are okay but the last two times I've went were a disaster. Now I'm always one to give a tip even if you don't do that great of a job. The woman who runs the shop on weekdays is very obnoxious when it comes to tipping. I hate when people ask for a tip because it's a tip! I've already paid $33 for a pedicure so if you get a tip it needs to be deserved. I got a pedicure and the woman rushed through the entire thing. She didn't fully rub in the scrub she took it off with a towel. As well as the lotion. She didn't cut my cuticles. She didn't paint my nails the way I wanted nor did she take special attention to a nail I asked her to. My pedicure was done in 15 mins which is ridiculous. I've never ! Even with all of that I was going to give her a tip. I'm ready to pay and take out my wallet. She can obviously see I have no cash (which I was going to get after) cause she's all in my wallet so I gave her my card. She immediately says what do you want to put as tip on your card. I say I'm going to get cash I'm not putting tip on my card. So I'm drying my feet and she's watching me like a dog. I clearly already told her I'm going to get cash after and I'll be back. As soon as I get up to start walking, The woman runs after me and is like where's the tip. I'm so confused. Why are you even asking me ? I just told you I'm going to get cash. For that very reason she got nothing. One , you didn't deserve it. Two, I'm not obligated to give you one. Three, how dare you tell me I need to give you a tip. Really, reallly loves the service provided in this nail salon. It was so peaceful walking in , compare to the usual nail salon's that I go to in the Bronx, where there's loud music, employees talking on the phone etc. But, at Cleo I loved everything about it. From the hand massage, to the great job that the nail tech did. The only reason I am giving it a 3 star is because my nail tech left once I was done painting my nail (she went somewhere in the back)and didn't tell me about applying the oil on my nail after I was finish. Also, when I came in she told me if I wanted to pay $5 extra for my manicure because they put a special nail polish to make the polish last, so I agree after she kept insisting. Day 3 after having my nails done, and my middle finger already chipped off. It was disappointing because I had her explain and give me an approximate about of time that my nails will last and she told me 2 weeks, and it only last 3 days.
