Generally, I like this place. They are a tad bit pricey but they are very thorough with their COVID-19 protocols so I can understand why they feel their prices are justified. They have plexiglass dividers separating you from the nail technician and plastic walls on wheels that they use to separate customers sitting next to each other at the nail tables and the pedicure massage chairs. They seem to sanitize their utensils. I've been here twice before and received a gel manicure and regular pedicure. They do a very nice job with the pedicure. They have the usual massage chairs, which are comfy and they also wash, moisturize, and exfoliate your feet. What's unique and a nice bonus is they use a deep moisturizing pack which I believe has essential oils. They attach it to your heel while they are painting your toe nails and remove once the nails are done so that the oils have time to penetrate and soak into your skin. The gel manicures have been pretty good. They last me about two weeks. This time around, my technician was working really quickly and I used a lighter color which required a third coat. I feel the job was a bit rushed as there are some gaps on the sides of the polish. I have also had eyebrow threading here and they do a great job. My experience at this nail salon was very disappointing. I'm a repeat customer. I went in for a manicure and pedicure ($60), but was charged an extra $15 just to remove gel from my hand polish. My toes weren't gel. Normally I'm charged at other salons $10 to remove gel from hands AND toes. They charge $15 for each one. Then, despite asking for matching polish on my toes and nails, she only put colored polish on my toes. My nails just got a top coat. But I still got charged the full price for color on both. The language barrier made communication difficult, and when I tried to express my concerns, it seemed like she didn't understand. I ended up paying $75 and only got half of what I paid for. I was excited for this place as my best friend recommended it and we have been going for years. We went on Monday, the 28th. However, the manicure was a terrible issue. Firstly, I wasn't properly informed of the entire price for the gel tips, so I paid far more than I thought. Then it only got worse. The nail tech abused the cuticles of my lefthand ring finger and my righthand pinky nail so hard both of them blew. She was callous and didn't listen when I told her I was in pain. The nails and the tips themselves look good at first, but upon further observation I noticed that some were far too thick and it looked blocky. The nail shape on some nails also wasn't right. Either way, I didn't say anything. The nail tech even knew she did a bad job on the designs I got and said "From a distance, they look great!" Gel tips are meant to last 2 weeks and not snap or break. After the first day, 4 out of 10 nails were lifted. 3 of them were on my left hand, and I'm right hand dominant, so I know know wasn't on my end. I called, and they fixed it without question when I came in, no upcharge. She definitely noticed some were going to lift, but didn't fix them. Later on that week by Thursday, I had to super glue 2 of them to keep from falling off. However, by Sunday today, two nails snapped off and two came loose. So to be frank, I'm never going back. Very pretty spa, it's very quiet and peaceful no one talks to each other and I enjoyed that a lot since it was very relaxing. They also cleaned the chair very well before I sat down which I appreciated. I called for a gel manicure and about halfway into my manicure I realized she was using shellac and not gel like I asked. I didn't say anything because I assumed they may not have any product in the color I asked for or they may be running low in supply due to covid, however I think they should have made that clear and vocalized that to me since I personally do not like shellac at all, which is why I always get gel or powder. It was a nice manicure but I'm giving it 3 stars for that reason, it was also very expensive and I understand that once again it's because of covid and they lost a lot of business, however I think it was too high of a price for just a shellac manicure in my opinion. read more

Has a potential to be a great nail salon. The owner is very nice and some of the employees are absolutely amazing. However, they do bot use gloves when doing pedicures, don't put anything in the water for your feet, some employees don't even wear masks, no one has a name tag on at all, I've seen layers of dust behind counters, appearance is sloppy- wish they were cleaner. Speaking of cleaner, every other nail salon upkeeps their nail polish bottles by wiping down crusted-on nail polish off the rim so it doesn't stick to the lid and flake off everywhere. For some reason they don't do this extra step. They also have several bottles of same color while missing many other colors most salons carry. I ended up bringing my own nail polish here. I could deal with all of that, but today for some reason they removed all the lotion from where you sit to dry your nails and couldn't explain why. If they said they ran out I'd totally understand. So I asked for some lotion for my hands and the lady is super rude standing over me while I put cuticle oil on and I asked her please just leave bottle since no one needs it right now and as soon as I use it I'll bring it back- like literally need few moments so I don't rush and ruin my mani. She puts it down and not a minute later came back and took it away. Absolutely no explanation and very rude about it too. Oh and every salon I've been to does little mini neck/shoulder massage while your hands dry- this salon does not. If they step up their game and made some of these improvements they'd be an amazing salon no doubt. Until then I'll be taking my business somewhere else. The newly renovated salon is beautiful and modern. The music and atmosphere is very calming and soothing. The employees here are all very accommodating, professional and very friendly. As far as quality of service and work done I would have to say each and every one of the specialists have a thorough knowledge of what is best for each client based on what each client is wants. Sanitation is a big thing for me so when I entered the salon/spa I was pleasantly put at ease. From the new flooring to the new furnishing to the liners they use for each client at each pedicure tub to the newly sanitized, packed and sealed tools they use for each client. I noticed that they use disposable files and buffers and pushers for each client whether it be manicure and or pedicures. As if that's not enough they break and rip up each tool used in front of the customer to show that they don't and would never reuse (unlike other places that just clean off the files and buffers at the end of the days work). Curiously I asked how they sanitize their metal tools and the employee patiently and happily brought me over to their medical grade sanitizing machine (auto claver) that uses only distilled water, explaining how these machines are used in dental offices and doctors offices as well. Other salons have that vial of blue water or that dinky metal box w purple light as their disinfecting/sanitizing method. This place uses a MEDICAL GRADE sanitizer!! Who does that?! Totally won me over. When you get a service done that requires a lot of filing, they have a device where you place your hands over it and the intake fan pulls in the flyaway dust and filings and collects into a bag so neither the client or the nail specialist is ingesting the dust particles. They don't double dip their wax and each stick is thrown away with each swipe that is made on contact w the client wherever it may be. The products they use are OPI, ESSIE, SNS, CND, SHELLAC. As for uv manicures they provide protective gloves so there isn't any over exposure. Walk ins are very welcome but appointments are appreciated. The prices are fair for the class, cleanliness and quality of service. You get what you pay for. CIf you end up having to wait a bit to get pampered here or are drying your nails they have charging stations and provide clients w refreshments and snacks. I've been getting gel and the removal process everywhere I have been is so rough. They file away so much nail that my nails are extra sensitive. I read good reviews about this place so decided to walk in today and try it out. They were able to take me right away. Sophia did my nails and she was not too rough when removing the gel polish. I love this place! I've been here many times for a gel manicure and regular pedicure and I always ask for Himaly because she is great! I am very picky with my nails and expect for them to do a perfect job because this is their profession and I'm paying for the service and they never disappoint. I feel like I can actually go sit back and relax and she will take care of me. I don't need to glance/check to see if she painted the sides of my nails (which most people miss) or cut my nails straight. The salon is also very clean and they sanitize things well. They still have plastic dividers and all the nail techs wear masks which I feel super comfortable with because I also continue to wear my mask since covid is still here. The first time I went here I had such a great experience. I had a pedicure and gel manicure and my nails lasted almost a full 2 weeks. I went back the other day to get a callous pedicure and a gel manicure two days before my wedding and had the worst experience. 48 hours later my gel nails were chipped and the back of my right foot had scratches all over it from the women removing the dead skin on my heels. I found Bliss Nails on Yelp as I am still on the hunt for a "Long Island quality" nail salon up in Westchester. Right off the bat, the parking lot was super small, and as this is not the salon's fault, everyone there was parked crooked, leaving no available spot. I circled for about 10 minutes and decided to make my "own spot". First impression: this salon seemed newly renovated, clean, and all the employees were in uniform (which is a big plus for me, as I work in customer service). I got a SNS powder manicure, and it took about an hour and 45 minutes- I had old polish on that they had to remove, plus the actual manicure. The manicure seemed to be going well, as the application was the same as normal, but upon leaving, I noticed the manicure was extremely smudgy. Sloppy on the corners and edged, and some specs that should've been buffed off. Although the technician was very attentive, the manicure turned out to just be too sloppy for $40.00.
