I don't like a revolving door for my service techs and I have to say the ones I had over the years were long time providers. Then came a tech named JR----he was around a long time and was tremendous. He would actually watch and follow the bugs and see where they live.... I learned to do that from him so the nest could be sprayed directly and not just broadcast spraying hoping to kill them. I still imagine him crouching down and watching the bugs travel. If you find the nest you solve the problem. That has worked for me since then. Every year I get field ants crawling all over the driveway so I follow them and problem solved for the rest of the summer. JR knew I hated bugs and stressed over them, he told me once to just not look for them. It was wise advice even if at the time I ignored it, it has become wisdom over time. After JR came my current Tech, Dominick, also terrific and low stress for me. I never thought anyone could match the service JR provided but Dominick has and I could not have ever thought another tech could meet my expectations. Dominick has been reliable and ALWAYS on time in spite of juggling an extremely heavy schedule. His work ethic and pride in his work is obvious. He is organized and has a great memory for my house as to what I want done and HOW I want it handled, such as only a pinstripe in front of the garage or front steps, or what needs extra attention etc... He even notices things I did not see. He services my home like it is his own. I do not want a tech who robotically comes out and just sprays around without particular attention to the bad areas. I call it the ART of pest control----where does MY home need attention.... Dominick does that---his mind is not on cruise control, he is focused and knows the spots needing more or less coverage. I am very particular, high expectations and standards. To that point, one Amish worker of mine decades ago called me "fussy", endearingly of course...."the fussy one" he called me..... His son, now grown up remembers his father dubbing me that all these years later when I called the son to do some work...So when people meet my expectations, they get high reviews. Dominick treats the areas effectively with the proper product. With my stinging insect nests he uses the least toxic thing that will kill the nest in consideration of my concerns for what my dogs will get exposed to. Dominick always calls in the event he might get delayed on rare occasion and lets me know when he is finished and if he noticed anything while he was treating the house. He goes the extra mile every time for years now. I like how if I have a problem he will come out again and they have without fail. The office is busy but they do try over the years to help answer bug questions as the office staff is knowledgeable about them. I never feel rushed or silly for any question. Jeremy in the office the past couple years is super nice and easy to talk to. He does his best to facilitate help ASAP. All the seemingly little things make me a happy customer for 40 years. Molly has talked to me over the phone about bug problems and has come out to handle them.... once she said, "I've never seen so many ants on a driveway." She found them and took care of it and explained how I could reduce their habitat... I like a place where I feel my concerns matter and not blown off. I have learned a lot about bugs from them, mostly from my technician. They identify bugs on the spot and know what attracts them, how to make my yard and home less attractive and how to prevent them in the future. I call my techs, my "bugman" and "best friend" for 6 months of the year! They are low stress which is a plus and the price I pay is worth it and the peace of mind that we work together. Some other companies are not so flexible which would not work for me. My techs have been outstanding and like the longevity they have so I do not have to break in a new one all the time to my preferences and tweaks. Patton Pest Control is a keeper. They have been good to me for a long long time which speaks well for a company. On January 29,…read more2026, I paid for wildlife removal services with the understanding that the issue at my home would be handled professionally and completely. Once I received my contract I sent Daniel W Hall (the owner) of $ 312payment via cash app. He came once to my home and placed the trap onto the balcony. I told him that where he placed the trap would not be able to collect the raccoons that are terrorizing my property. He then came back and tried to create a trap that immediately fell off once he left. I then called him back to express the unsafely of all of this (please keep in mind it is sharp wire falling onto my driveway and cars with kids in the home). He continually told me he was on other jobs till one day I finally thought the raccoon was trapped by getting stuck into the roof because there was no trap to catch it. I frantically called Daniel Hall to come and collect the raccoon that was hanging from my roof. He took 3-4 hours to come and obviously the raccoon was gone! He didn't even get out of the car. He then completely stopped communicating until I had another job there for him. Since then I have never heard from him again and the problem was never resolved. I made numerous attempts to follow up, both directly and through individuals associated with the business, who repeatedly assured me that I would receive a call back. On February 9th, 2026 I began my communications with Sandy. I expressed all safety concerns about this matter and urgency on finding a resolution. Sandy stated that this was a family operated business and Daniel Hall was the only one who was able to do the jobs. Although frustrated, I sympathized and gave them more time. Sandy, later stopped responding to me also. After leaving multiple phone calls so I get get this over with I was introduced to a third person named Joclyn. She was the only one with any time of business sense. She stated that this is not right and she will contact Daniel Hall for me. She too had stated that she would handle everything for me and I would receive a full refund. She also begged me not to leave a review yet I have not heard from her since March 19, 2026. Despite these assurances, I never received any response from anyone ultimately, and the service I paid for was never completed, alongside a breached contract. I have requested a refund multiple times due to the failure to fulfill the agreed-upon work, but those requests have also gone unanswered. At this point, I am left having paid for a service that was not delivered and have to hire a new company to complete the job. I have retained documentation of payment and all communication attempts. Due to the lack of response and resolution, I have begun taking further action to recover my funds. Due to his negligence this has displaced two families from their homes. But they wouldn't care because they are too busy enjoying stolen profits. If anyone else has had a similar experience with this company please reach out, I encourage you to document everything carefully and consider your options. Called Catch A Critter after my daughter heard an animal scratching and banging in her…read morechimney/fireplace. They came out went on the roof and said that there was evidence that the animal was just on the roof and assured her that there was no animal in her chimney-she continued to hear the noise until it stopped about a week later. Soon after she found an excessive amount of maggots and flies in and around her basement fireplace and there was an odd smell. She called out another company who removed a dead racoon from her chimney. Because the racoon was laying on the flue and there was no way to take it out though the fireplace, bricks needed to be removed from the chimney and it was removed from there. The cost of this service and the repair will be in excess of $2000. We called catch a critter after to tell them what occurred, they refused to accept any responsibility and should have at least refunded the money we paid to them. I would never recommend a company that will not stand by their service.
