My beef tips with rice was quite tasty. I liked the green beans and Texas toast as well. Gravy was a bit too salty but okay. My wife said her fish sandwich was just ok. It was massive. For having just opened on October 1st, they have a good system down with letting you know how long it will be before you will be seated making it clear that there may be a wait once you are seated to be waited on. Some people might find issue with this, but being both newly opened and doing what they can to not overwhelm the entire staff, I appreciate the transparency. We started with the fried pickles. They are lightly battered in a tempura like batter which I really liked as they weren't heavy and greasy like most breaded or beer battered onion rings can be. I got the Mushroom Swiss burger with onion rings ($2.00 up charge). Ordered the burger medium and it came out more on the well side. It wasn't dry but would have liked it to be a little juicier. For paying a $2.00 up charge, 4 onions rings was very disappointing. They are beer battered but it is a very heavy, bready batter with thin onions inside. I definitely would not get them again. The hubs ordered the French Dip. The au jus was really good but he was very disappointed in the lack of meat on the sandwich. He ordered fries as his side and asked for them to be crispy, they were not crispy but he said they were okay. I'm not going to ding them on service as they are only 3 days into being open and have a lot of kinks to work out. Server could have been a little more attentive and responsive with refills but it is something that will improve over time. Will we dine here again? Eventually. Will probably wait until after the new year to return. Hopefully by then, everything will be running smoothly. read more

There's one good person in the whole place and her name is Margot and she works Fridays. The service is largely terrible and the food isn't much better. There's better bars in Fuquay in ambiance and service. read more

Could not be less impressed if I tried. I wanted to like this place so much. I was excited to have a family-friendly spot with good food, a great vibe, and good beer. This is not that spot. -The beer selection is... meh... fine. -The decor screams 1989 Denny's in need of an update. (I do feel like that must have been a hard look to achieve straight out of the gate). -Their food is incredibly uninspired and borderline reminiscent of TV dinners. Our party of eight each tried something different and all had the same lack-luster experience. - And, as the preverbal straw that broke this camel's back, their latest social media Ad gimmick involved suggesting that we come engrave "Let's Go Brandon" on Stella Artois glasses. We went here for lunch today around 1pm with a group of 18. Katelyn was our server and she did a great job juggling all of us and did it with a smile the whole time. We ordered the pickle chips for an appetizer. There is more than enough to feed about 5 people. It also comes with ranch dressing to dip the pickles in. We ordered the Salmon Cakes and the barbecue platter. The salmon patties were supposed to come with risotto Primavera but they were out so they replaced with wild rice and it was all delicious. My husband's barbecue was also delicious. The portions are very generous as we had some to bring home for lunch tomorrow. Can't wait! The restaurant also has covered outdoor seating, a bar area, dartboards, pool tables and a meeting room for larger groups. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. read more

Cleveland Draft House has opened their third location in Fuquay-Varina. We stopped in to grab lunch and watch the Panthers game. The beer selection was really good, there was a good mix of options to choose from. I ended up going with a Blue Moon for a lighter option. I started off with a cup of loaded potato soup followed by the club melt with mashed potatoes and gravy. My husband ordered the reuben with sweet potato fries. In addition to having a lot of TVs in the bar area, there are also dart boards and pool tables. The food was just okay but it was a great spot to watch a game. read more

My first experience was amazing. Tonight was not so good. During my first experience the food as excellent. The waitress was extremely attentive. The atmosphere inside was amazing. Tonight's experience could have been better. My brothers food had a hair in it. The waitress took 15 minutes to take our bill. She was not attentive at all. This won't stop me from coming back. I ate lunch here on a Sunday with one other person. - We were seated at a table that had not yet been cleaned. It took someone 15 minutes to clear the table and take our drink orders. - Our waitress was non-existent. - We waited 45 minutes four our food after placing an order. - I ordered the buffalo shrimp app and received all of 6 shrimp. I've been here before and had a good time but this last time killed it for me. Our server was great but, the food was horrid. I ordered steak and shrimp. They brought the shrimp, no sauce and walked off. Took awhile to gets some ones attention and she seemed annoyed that I would want cocktail sauce or something with the breaded shrimp. My steak tasted like liver. I normally don't complain but it was veiny af and tasted horrible. The manager came out and said "I'm going to sit down so it doesn't look like I'm yelling at you." Not sure why all the mediocre reviews. Just had dinner here tonight with my husband and MIL. I had the blackened Alfredo pasta, MIL had the ribs and my husband had a Ruben. We had dinner there last night and were generally pleased, unlike Joelle C., the first to post a review CDH Fuquay, who apparently travels the region writing 6-7 paragraphs with pics to match on every establishment (even non-restaurants) she enters. I don't think there's much going on in Joelle's life. But I digress. Service was a little slow clearly due to the labor shortage; however the wait staff on hand were busier than one armed paper hangers and performed quite well under the circumstances. Therefore, I was happy to tip our waiter (Eric?) more than 20% because he not only performed well, but I appreciate that he is one who is actually willing to work in the restaurant business in these difficult times. A generous review would say it's new & the wait staff are still working out the kinks. Maybe so. During a recent visit I was promptly seated by a pleasant hostess and then things fell off a cliff. I became invisible to the wait staff. All walked past me several times with no acknowledgement that I existed. Long after the novelty of my invisibility wore off, I just got up from my table and left. Of course no one noticed. I'll chalk this up to a new business still going through a start-up phase. If I could give zero stars, I would. My wife and I sat in the bar area and bother ordered a burger. We watched as people came after us, ate, then left. 45 minutes later, I asked where our food was. 10 minutes later, it came out - completely wrong on stale buns. The manager came over and apologized, saying it took so long because there was a party of 60 people. I knew it was B.S. and went to the hostess and asked where the party of 60 was. Looks like it's under new management when we went in they told us they were understaffed strike one service was actually OK. Food was just OK tables including the one we were sitting at were not being cleaned. We were told they are under new management. It was a completely different staff from our normal staff, which we are frequenters of, we will give it another try but they've got some work to do we always like the Cleveland house in Fuquay.
