An adorable bakery with great coffee and staff. We enjoyed the sticky bun the most, and went back for seconds at the end. They make fresh bread daily and have a schedule so you can plan ahead for your selection. The interactions with the staff definitely make you feel like you're home and in the South. The hospitality was refreshing, and customer appreciation was made clear. There is open seating, but there are a couple spots near the window, and they allowed us to have a semi-private breakfast date.

Super cute place. I ordered the bananas fosters latte and a couple scones. The latte was like watered down so I personally wasn't a fan. The bacon cheddar scone and pretzel was really nice and the whole family enjoyed it. However, the blueberry scone almost tasted undercooked so it was a let down. The service was really good though, everyone was really nice.

My friend from FV always told me how delicious Stick Boy is so we took a little drive to check it out. I didn't have time to sit and eat in so just grabbed a few items to go. I got the blueberry scone, sticky bun and pretzel. All of the other pastries looked equally delicious. The service was great and they were very fast and efficient. The seating area looked really cozy and next time I will try to spend a little more time inside and get a coffee drink.

Everything bagel . This is so good. Love that they have bagels now

How have I never reviewed Stick Boy? Been a fan since I moved here in 2007. Stick-Boy is in Fuquay. There's parking in various places nearby in lots and on the street. It's such a cute shop with some seating inside & outside. Great coffee, friendly staff, delicious sweets & bread. Sourdough is amazing. Try the Sweet Potato Marshmallow Brioche as French toast.. you're welcome. My kids love the chocolate chip cookies. Their carrot cake is my favorite. In December try the peppermint ganache cake. Definitely worth a stop. Check it out.

We love stick boy! They have a variety of sweets that are delicious and I love that they do blended drinks. The staff is great too!

This is a charming little spot. It was my first visit and I was a little confused with the ordering process. The staff wasn't that helpful that looked annoyed that I was taking my time. However, walking in, I was greeted by the delightful aroma of fresh bakery items. We ordered coffee, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies, a blueberry scone and a cherry-lime biscotti. The sugar cookies were some of the best I've ever had! Both the chocolate chip and sugar cookies had the ideal level of sweetness and stayed soft even days later.

Came by after a visit to the FV farmer's market and grabbed a couple of coffees. Tucked in to the downtown area, Stick Boy has a cute small cafe vibe (similar to Amelie's) and lots of bakery options! They sell freshly made biscuits, pizza dough, and pastries. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We got the bacon cheddar brioche and blueberry bagel and both were delicious! The lattes were, dare I say, much better than Starbucks! And cheaper too! I think we found our new coffee spot! 9/10 - I would give them a perfect 10 if they served breakfast options! Pretty pleaseeee

You'll see a large parking lot and start to ask yourself what all this church stuff has to do with coffee. Or, for that matter, all the sports and activity resources. Well, they don't. Serenity is a coffee-getting SPACE inside a SPACE that offers all kinds of other things within its SPACE, like a game room, among others. Calling it a "coffee shop" is going too far. But very convenient if you're craving caffeine and don't feel like driving out of your way to reach Ugly Mug or deal with the maddening weekend conditions at Cultivate. (Speaking of which, they use Cultivate beans here. So that's a win.) It's charmless, tucked inside an echo-laden, hall of many shades of gray and not a window in sight. Huge and accommodating, with work tables rocking multiple outlets per person (!), there are good things to say, for sure. Like the barista with the kind demeanor. The churchy feel is pretty overwhelming. If you're not into that or have a problem with it, think again? Idk, it's obvious that the coffee aspect rings as an afterthought, what with everything else going on. If you're looking for a coffee house situation, you won't find it here. But if you want an uber-quiet, enormously spacious, wholly uninteresting place to work, give Serenity Brews a shot. Fair warning, though - the wifi is paltry, so don't bring any demanding work.

For real, if you can't give an organization that only exists to help helpless animals, then you are a garbage human being. First off, cats! I mean, who doesn't love natures best killing machine. It's like evolution took all the great qualities of a killer, a predator, gave it amazing agility and balance, stealth, knives for fingers and then said, lets make you tiny and cute so humans can pick you up and snuggle a death machine. This place is super small and their parking lot holds like 5 cars. If it's full just park across the street at the recreation center and walk the nice path over to the cat cafe. Be sure to pray before you cross 401 because you'll need the extra help with all of these imported Yankee drivers. Inside most of the space is dedicated to cats, big surprise right??? There is a small bar with a counter to make your order. Maybe 2 tables and then a bench with a glowing neon sign meant for taking photos for the gram. There are a few small tables outside and around to the front of the building. You need to make reservations to see the kitties. It's about $10 per person weekdays and $12 on the weekend for a 45 minute session. You may take your drinks in and the kitties may try to get a sip if you have something delicious. Socks are required, if you don't have any they do sell some for $4-5 a pair. There are 8-10 spots available depending on the time of day. So if you book five spots for your family, you may be mixed in with 5 other individuals. There is plenty of room and this isn't an issue but you can book the entire room for the hour for $110. Remember, all of this money goes to support taking care of the cats including food and really expensive vet care. Finally, you came here for cats right, not really for drinks...but the drinks are really good. We usually get boba. They have very limited options not a full menu like you'd find at Bep or other boba dedicated cafés. Like I love jasmine and they don't have it here. But I usually just get taro and it's fine. Their Thai iced tea with boba is pretty good. You can adjust the sweetness and the amount of ice so I usually get light ice and 25% sweet to save a few calories. They have coffee, chai, hot chocolate, tea and a few other items. Enjoy a drink and help some kitties!

When we were there they had about a dozen hanging around in different spots. There are plenty of places to sit and toys you can use to play with the cats if you want.
