He also got my glasses prescription nailed down so I can see great both up close.and far away without needing a bifocal! His staff, thise ladies are great! They are so nice and helpful. I've switched my whole household to him. My glasses were a little pricey but I like them. The only thing I don't line is having to call in before you can go in but I get it. First of all let me say that it's easier to get a quick appointment. When you arrive you are greeted with a smile and treated with respect. They truly value their patients and customers. The Optometrist assistant will take the initial stage of some of the testing. Afterwards the doctor will take his time with you as he goes through his different stages of testing. At this time I recommend going over any questions you may have about your eye health. Do you have trouble driving at night? Do your eyes itch allergies? Are you in front of a computer? Make sure you go over anything you need so you walk out pleased. After you've discussed any questions the doctor will put some eye drops in your eyes. You will be instructed to wait in the lobby. The last step is dilating the eyes and checking the eye health. When done you get to go home with disposable sunglasses. The doctor is very personable and kind. It's very clean and organized and they make good use of the space they have. Dr. Good is very personable and thorough with his exams and his staff is super friendly and accommodating! They have a vast variety of glasses frames on display, so you shouldn't have a problem finding something you like. They do offer a nice selection of Oakley frames if you want to be fancy. Prescription sunglasses are available as well. Their website is great! You can check your account statements and prescriptions, and schedule appointments too. You can also order your contacts through the website and it lists all the prices so you can comparison shop if you wish. You can setup email and text appointment reminders which I find very helpful. She argued with me, made me feel less then, stated she was punishing my husband Michael for asking for samples to get by until his appt ApriI 8th, she stated, he should have made an appt back in December and shrugged her shoulders and said OH WELL, when I explained I usually make his appts, but was in and out of hospitals with health issues. Joanne didn't care that I stated, without contacts, Michael can not do his daily activities, including his job. I walked out of the office in tears and some other patient was waiting in the parking lot and stated JoAnne did the same thing to her aunt just moments prior to my experience. UNACCEPTABLE. Avon Eye Design has messed up my prescriptions 3x now!…read more My fault ... I keep going there!! I do like the dr. On the Avon Eye Design website it says they have been awarded the top optometry practice in Avon for 2015-2024. Their web site says this award is verified at Opencare.com. I went to Opencare.com. It looks to be a dentistry web site? .... strange! The First mistake they made was with my eye glass prescription We worked it out. Second mistake, I ordered contacts from them, I ordered a full years worth of 2 month contacts. They told me my order was in & so I went to pick it up. Later I found they only gave me "half" of my full 1 year contact order. i didn't catch their mistake until a week later. I called Avon Eye Design & they said I could come back in to get the other half of my order! (that I had already paid for) They had my full order there & No one had callex to let me know they had the rest of my order. No apology, no explanation was given. I asked! Today was strike #3! I went in to get a prescription for 1-day Acuvue Oasys contacts After 2 mistakes, I no longer order anything directly from Avon Eye Design. I now get all my prescriptions in writing & I go someplace else. I always ask for my prescriptions in writing. Often, I need to ask for it several times & then, I am told that I need to stay & wait for the dr to be available ... again ...to get my prescription in writing. Upon leaving today, I immediately took the contact prescription to COSCO, to purchase it, the COSCO sales person said the contact prescription from Avon Eye Design could not be ordered because the prescription as written was wrong. I immediately called Avon Eye Design from Cosco trting to quickly have them fix their prescription & fax it to Cosco. I put the Cosco sales lady on the phone with Avon Eye Design to explain the problem. The Avon Eye Design lady would not interrupt the Dr to fix their mistake for me quickly. She said I would have to wait for the Dr to be out of his appointments. I had waited an hour to get a Cosco sales lady! so... i drover back to Avon Design in to get a new (accurate) written contact prescription. When I got to Avon Eye Design, I was told the computers "auto settings" had made the numbers mistake ... not the Dr. Again. No apology. I won't go to Avon Eye Design again. 3 strikes .... your out!.

Bad eye exam, redo....wait 2 weeks again. No txt or call that glasses are in!!! Glasses are now WRONG COLOR. Staff at front entrance obviously never wanted to be there. Not happy to be asked to do multiple tasks, but greeting customers with a welcome attitude should be #1 job. Dr seems bored, almost uninterested in doing a good job.. Pre-exam staff is not trained well at all. Avoid this place like the plaque and find another center to provide a great experience and great glasses in a short timely manner, with a smile!!!
